I'm still alive, still trying to work on things. I don't really have an excuse for the delays in the current chapter. real life has been...stuff. 

The Chapter is charitably what I would say as "almost done" 

past this theres maybe 4 to 5 chapters left before I call the first book finished

First three months of the year hsve been butts

2025 was a year. 

we had 4 chapters for Witch's Gambit, and 1 chapter for Somewhere in the Stars. While I'm likely going to continue my habit of posting the chapters "when they are done" there is a part of me considering just batch posting and just focusing on the work to the best of my ability. I'm properly properly settled into my new home, and just working day to day.

next chapter is finished. will be editing it as soon as I can. will be out by the end of the weekend. 

I've said it multiple times now, but I'm delcaring a soft deadline to the completion of Witch's Gambit Book 1 in May 2026. with the space of time between now and then I feel like it's a decent enough bet to make.

forgot to update those who are interested; I have properly moved and have lived in a much more ideal location for the past month and a half now. , Writing is slow going but we fight regardless. I'm not married to it but the soft goal is to finish Witch's Gambit (first draft) by the end of 2025

Good news!

Chapter 11 is now finished. will be going through the usual editing process as best I can and will hooopefully with in the weekend or at least before thanksgiving.

With luck the next chapter of Witch's Gambit will be out either by the end of November, or the end of the year. 

So everyone knows it's the full chapter I'll be deleting the preview chapter and uploading the finished project so it still triggers a notification for those that follow.

I know it's only been a month since I posted the last chapter, but chapter 11 is proving a bit of a challenge, hopes ar to have it finished before the end of novermber.
