been encounterting a little bit of block mentally with how I've been writing. apologies for the wait that it's causing.

I just read through all ten chapters of Witch’s Gambit….again. I still love it. And for some reason I’m fascinated by Hazel Goodwin. I find myself strongly identifying with Roxanne and am really looking forward to the ongoing interaction between the two of them. 
I'm really glad you like it. I'm hoping to do more with them both. Hazel was definitely a character I wanted to stand out as a supporting cast member so I'm glad I've done my job correctly.

chapter 8 is done and going through the editing, though i am working on another chapter that it will be released alongside.
Chapter 8 is coming along nicely. I am debating doing a split like I did with chapter 5 but for now I am just writing out chapter 8 until it is done and seeing how I feel with the finished result.
Some small plans have changed. The current Chapter 5 is being broken down into two chapters, I've made this decision after a lot of thought and consulting with the closest person I would call an editor for Witch's Gambit.
Chapter 5 should come out sooner now because of this.
