My works are available for free reading on Scribblehub, Wattpad, AO3, and Inkitt for 18+ readers. I have no commercial aspirations for writing, as I don't want this to become a job. It's just my contribution to the world of things. I'm a huge fantasy nerd, and I tend to approach my writing as if it were fanfiction, not of any particular property, but of the entire fantasy genre and all the fantasy media I have loved. Well, this episode of Salvage ended up going three chapters. It took a bit longer than I thought it would, but it's all posted up now!
Hello all! As you may have noticed, I'm working on Salvage again and I've been on a decent roll... but the next chapter may see a bit longer delay. The scene I'm working on now will run two chapters long, but I won't know where it wants to split in half until I've written the whole thing. I might drop both parts at the same time, though, so you'll get a two-for-one! Thanks for sticking this out with me! I know this novel has been a long, long haul, but I think we're getting there ?

Alright, this chapter of Salvage concludes the brothel episode. Well, *this* brothel episode, anyway 
New chapter of Salvage dropped! Three new chapters in a month. I'd have liked more, but I think that's a good start to getting back into this!
Also, Salvage just crossed 150k words. Wow!
Well I thought I was on a roll with getting a chapter of Salvage out weekly but our anniversary was this week and I only managed an outline, which I then lost to a crash so now I have to start over. Le sigh.
I also updated the map. After all this time I just noticed that the Principality of Meratha was missing. Oops! That's fixed now.

Sorry, more delays. After avoiding covid all this time, my husband finally caught it after we went to a concert. So far I *think* I dodged it, but now I'm a giant ball of anxiety and can't brain enough for writing. Think I'll just finish watching Mysterious Lotus Casebook and piddle around on other little projects until we're past this. *Sigh* I really will get back to this novel someday.
Hopefully he's feeling better now, and you dodged it! I think I might just have had it. Or something equally horrible.

OK, all my summer vacation and family visits are over. Lovely times were had by all. Hopefully I can get my brain to switch gears into writing mode soon!

I think it's very hard to get readers on any platform. The algorithms are against you and all I can say, is you have to keep at it. Goes against the grain if you're not naturally the type to push yourself but you can learn how to be shamelessly spammy and it does pay off eventually.
At least that's what I keep telling myself....
ADBB has been doing really well on Wattpad. It was crickets there to for a long time but as soon as I finished that one it was like an avalanche. I'd sure like that here - I just like this platform so much more. You should consider joining me over there, though. I'd love to boost your stories to others on my front page reading lists (one thing I do wish we had here.)
Maybe the secret is a finished story then, at least on other platforms. I could consider Wattpad. I'm busy writing but for (self)publication, Thomas of Albion is the only free one in the works. Not to put pressure on but uhm...I look forward to the end of Salvage
Well, it's my birthday and I clearly did not achieve my goal of finishing Salvage by today. I've been very discouraged lately about getting people to read it, hence the feet dragging. I will forge ahead, though, and we'll get there.
