Update on next chapter of Scarlet Qi (Post 2 of 2):
I was able to complete the remaining part of John's chapter, however, it was barely a paragraph before it reached its natural conclusion so it will be added to the first part when the next chapter uploads.
This of course means we will be moving on to our third and final major path with the first chapter of Sera's path being uploaded tomorrow as I have confirmed time where I will be able to work on chapters.
Update on next chapter of Scarlet Qi (Post 1 of 2):
Final inspection on house failed do to some minor problems with the exterior causing any planed work on Scarlet Qi to be thrown out of the window as we (Me and my father) scrambled to fix the issues.
some final work on moving over ran my predicted time today and I was not able to write at all so the chapter has been delayed.

Sorry for the long period of silence. I just got back home after a short trip and found out that we were moving(because of work) and the other house was ready to move into so I have been busy with the book being mostly unattended to. That will change by tomorrow with at least one but hopefully two different chapters dropping.

Vale just got two tails. Is Reinas grooming of Vale a plot point that is going to be addessed or not? Vale is seeming forgiving and even defending Reinas actions actions with barely any change to their relationship and she is now even angry at Lou Xia(?!) How does that make sense? Does she over come this racial mind altering point of view and realize Lou Xia was in the right or not?
Multiple things will be addressed in the current volume, and I don't want to go into exact detail as I do not have every part of it planned out at this point. However, I can guarantee that we will be going into some detail about the racial characteristics, Raina's "grooming", and the forgiveness part that you mentioned.
Do you ever plan to continue scarlet qi?
I have some chapters in the works, but i am currently still on the second part of the latest chapter
