"And it seems, these traits are perfectly fused with me... as if I was born with them from the very beginning."

"This skill that I randomly bought from the system mall is truly terrifying... just what is the limit, really?"

Liam mused, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he marveled at the boundless energy coursing through his veins.

It was a sensation unlike any he had experienced before, an exhilarating reminder of the celestial traits that he had inherited during the transformation process.

Turning his gaze towards the valley, Liam checked on his slimes, relieved to see that they had emerged from the transformation unscathed. Poking their heads from the lake just to see their majestic leader in front of them.

With a sigh of relief, he allowed himself a moment of respite, knowing that they were safe and unharmed during the barrage of his emotions.

"At least they are not harmed in any way."

He grumbled... and continued with a sense of loss.

"I will need to find a solution to my anger issue."

"if every time I am countering any sadness and pain through anger, the consequences will only lead to disastrous devastation"

"I shouldn't rely on this method anymore. It is unsuitable for me, especially with such power that I possess"

"The longer I keep on using this method, the more dangerous it will be for those around me in the coming future"

Liam reflected upon this with a thoughtful look, the seriousness of the matter weighing on his mind.

Relying solely on anger to counter his emotions was a dangerous precedent, one that could lead to further destruction if left unchecked.

It would be disastrous if one day, he accidentally destroyed everything that he had built with his painstaking effort under his fury. Such a thought, Liam cowers in fear when thinking so.

Shaking his head at the thought, Liam acknowledged the need for change, a wry smile playing on his lips.

Suddenly, Elera's face flashed through his mind, a flicker of hope amidst his turmoil.

It was quite abrupt... though...

"Perhaps... "

He paused for a moment, seemingly hesitating. But then, he continued...

"That woman might be able to help me with my emotions"

"A catalyst to calm me down when needed"

Liam murmured, a glimmer of optimism stirring within him at the thought of seeking aid from this strange and yet bold woman.

Shaking those thoughts away, Liam then refocused his gaze back towards the slime. Seemingly wanting to see the changes that had occurred compared to before.

As Liam scrutinized the slimes' current form, he couldn't help but marvel at the profound changes that had taken place.

Their appearance now bore the unmistakable features of both celestial and dragon lineage, blending together in a magnificent display of power and grace. A vast disparity compared to their prior appearance.

"A mix of celestial and dragon race... "

"Perhaps we can be called the celestial dragon race now"

Liam pondered at the sight of this, his voice tinged with awe as he observed the imposing figures before him.

Gone were the modest proportions of their previous form.

Now, the slimes stood towering over the landscape, their elongated bodies stretching over 15 meters in length and reaching heights of over 7 meters.

Their wings, spanning twice the length of their bodies, unfurled with a regal grace, casting impressive shadows across the island.

Their scales, once a simple shade of gray, now shimmered with a dark blueish hue, flecked with hints of iridescence that danced in the sunlight.

Threads of energy crisscrossed their bodies, weaving otherworldy patterns that pulsed with latent power, lending an ethereal quality to their appearance.

Despite their massive size, the slimes moved with surprising agility, their movements fluid and graceful as they adjusted to their new form, seemingly curious about the changes that had undergone all over their bodies.

The island, once spacious, now seemed cramped in comparison to the grandeur of their celestial dragon bodies.

In addition to that, the slime's giant knight form will also possess a different distinctive feature from now. Presumably, they will look like a tiny celestial clad in dark armor.

However this 'tiny' was only meant to be compared to the true celestial size. But if we were to put this 'tiny' into a more logical perspective. The slimes in the knight form might appear to be similar to a group of moving fortresses.

Liam couldn't help but imagine in if he were in the position of his enemy. He leaped upon the battlefield as a group of giant slimes the size of a moving fortress stormed through his soldiers.

Such might and power.

"The bigger the better it is for me"

"What nonsense were those sayings back in my past life. Mentioning that the bigger it is the more flaws the creature will have"

"Rubbish! Such stupid laws are only applicable to those weak creatures. My giants aren't weak! They are the true definition of a true dragon celestial! A behemoth that shall stand upon the sky"

"Hahahah, this is great, this is really great!"

Liam laughed in contentment, knowing that his strength had been further enhanced from this point forward.

Now possessing over two different traits of mythical and powerful species inside him, Liam couldn't imagine just how powerful he would become in the later stages.

Becoming bigger than the whole continent itself? Or even this world?

It won't be a dream any longer...

He yearned for it, to possess the strength that allowed him to stand atop everything. Untouched by anyone's ideas and schemes, he won't fall for anyone's cruelty anymore.

"And my current size is quite big too"

Liam smiled, his enormous head looked over the lake's surface for a moment, and greeted the view of his giant dragon head peering in from above.

The changes to his size were nothing short of astounding. From his original form, he now stood as a colossal behemoth, a towering presence that dwarfed the surrounding landscape and even his slimes below.

Stretching over 60 meters in length, his immense form cast a shadow that stretched across the devastated plain, his head reaching high above the tallest hills nearby.

His once obsidian-like scales now shimmered with a breathtaking array of blueish and purple hues, catching the light in a mesmerizing display. There were even strange blueish patterns that streaked across his body, forming several rings of halo on his majestic body.

The tails that trailed behind him had grown longer and more formidable, their tips curved into sharp hooks that gleamed menacingly in the sunlight.

They swayed with an almost hypnotic rhythm, ready to strike with deadly precision at a moment's notice. Even flattening a mountain using the tail alone won't be a problem, Liam believed so.

Atop his head, three giant horns had sprouted forth, resembling the spikes of a crown atop the head of a king.

Their jagged edges lent him an air of nobility and power, while their presence spoke of indifference towards the mortal lives that scurried below.

As Liam surveyed his transformed body, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the changes that had occurred.

"Now then... I am no longer a pure human. But something else... "

"But no matter how far I might have strayed, in the beginning, and till the very end"

"I am and always will be a human"

Observing the changes reflected in the Lord panel, Liam's emotions fluctuated between elation and concern.

The surge in his Lord's power, now exceeding 3 million, filled him with an accomplishment. He was now, in essence, an uncrowned king of the human race, his authority and influence unmatched.

"3 million power, HAHAHAHA!"

"This is great!"

However, his joy didn't last long as it was tempered by a furrowed brow as he noted two specific points within the panel.

His summoning capacity and his level. With a hint of frustration, Liam tapped on the affected areas, prompting an explanation to appear on the panel.

[The World's will has detected an unstable fusion of two different powerful mythical bloodlines. One of an ancient true dragon and the other of an unknown divine being]

[To protect the Lord's body and soul from being destroyed under this fusion, the fusion effect will be affected and suppressed from the original enhancement magnitude]

[Thus lowering the benefits that might have originally been bestowed upon the Lord]

Liam absorbed the information, a mixture of curiosity and understanding coloring his expression.

"So... in other words, the world is suppressing the full enhancement reward that I should get?"

"Interesting and yet laughable"

He mused aloud, contemplating the implications of this revelation.
Shifting his gaze towards the so-called suppressed enhancement for a moment, Liam muttered with a smile.

"Even under the suppression effect, my strength is still boosted by a considerable amount"

"I wonder, just how powerful it would be without the suppression"

"and also..."

Liam paused for a moment within his words, darted his gaze towards the sky, and continued with his sentences.

"I doubt that this suppression was aimed to help me, It feels more of a... deliberate suppression... "

"Hahaha... is the world trying to put shackles onto me?"

"Then, does that mean a certain powerful being is eyeing me from above?"

Liam chuckled at the thought of this. Though in the next moment...

A sudden system prompt broke his doubts and jokes.

[Ding, the Divine of truth has taken favor on the Lord. Granting the Lord the mark of the beloved. Receiving the love of a divine being]

[+ love of the divine, please do note that this stat is invisible]

[The love that will never die, the excitement of a lone being that had been searching for a partner for billions of years, a partner that hailed from the same race similar to the divine]

The message hung in the air, its weight sinking into Liam's consciousness. For a moment, he was rendered speechless, his mind struggling to process the unexpected turn of events.

"I was just joking..."

Liam muttered, his voice tinged with disbelief.

'what's this'

'Is this considered to be good or bad'

'Well, being chased for love doesn't sound bad... but it's too sudden and doesn't conform to his mind at all'

'And being chased by a billion years old being doesn't sound that appealing to me'

[The lord doesn't have to worry, being granted the love of a divine is a glorious joy that the Lord should be honoured to attain]

The system replied, which was way beyond the norm.

Usually, this broken system won't even explain a thing to him. But this time, under the divine grace, the system went for quite a length to explain the benefits of the so-called divine love.

The notion of divine favor seemed too surreal to comprehend, especially after his casual remark.

Due to these sudden system prompts, Liam didn't even have the excitement to summon the rest of the slimes right now.

Planning to summon them later on during the night.

'Live on, I guess'

Liam couldn't cry nor smile, with a stone face of acceptance.
