It was autumn by the time I arrived in this world.

The flowers bloomed, and the earth was sprinkled in colors from above.

My destinations were varied for many years as I had no guidance early on.

Scars and bruises... wounds and gashes.

Love and departures...

In my previous life, I was dragged into this world right before my eyes. It was an accident, but I see it as more of a murder.

A betrayal.

Luckily... a noise had carved its way into my ears a moment before the impact.

Seconds before, my eyes went into eternal darkness.

(Your chance is not here, young man...but in another world. Look
for the gift... it's closer than you think)

That was all there was to it. I was as confused as you are...

What's the meaning behind these words?...

Just what is the reason for all of these?...

Though no one can answer it other than myself.

I will have to search for it...

Years after years of traveling into the unknown. Somehow, I had made my way into a tiny mortal town.

It was peaceful and harmonious for as long as I could remember.

However, the moment I stepped into the bustling street... they tossed a peculiar look at me.

As if I'm a monster... well. It was mainly due to the foreign clothing I had been preserving throughout the voyage.

Then... I decided to reside in this little town from that moment on. I've experienced enough during the journey to get here.

Live my life generally like the rest of the people. Working hard to get wood from the mountain.

Hunting for food and even plating some crops.

Years after years, yet again... I finally built my own house with wooden walls all around it.

I planted a lovely cherry blossom tree in the corner as I dug in a large pond beside it. And, of course... I added in a couple of Koi fish inside.

The house was simple as it had been made of wood... but to me. It is my home sweet home. A cozy place that refilled some of the vacancies in my heart.

50 years were fleeting in the twinkling of my eyes, and soon enough, I found something wrong that was occurring to me.

.....
I didn't age. Not even the slightest. My appearance remained unchanged for 50 years as if I am... immortal.

This paradox horrified me!...

I refrained from going out from then on. Only when necessary would I go out to do some sightseeing and refresh my eyes with the greeneries of Mother Nature.

It was hard at first... isolating myself from the world since I'm afraid to cause trouble...

I am but a mortal.

"How long has it been?"

He slowly muttered to himself...

Liam. After 100 years of living in this town.

His temperament has undergone many changes. Presently, he is exceptionally calm.

He was vacant of any worries, as if his life had already been filled with contentment.

Well... except for the answer that he had abandoned the journey of it.
Sitting by the small pond that he had created on his own over 100 years before.

The soft wind gently skimmed against the tree...

Fluttering his long white hair and the leaves from the tree falling below.
The sight was truly harmonious and beautiful to one's eyes. With yellow and a multitude of colors inside...

" And today... should be the day for the gift to work finally."

He smiled gracefully as he stared at the water body.

There he saw it... a tiny dot of dirt was floating peacefully on the surface. The wind affected none as the water remained still and motionless.

" A world of my own. A world in my pond."

He gleamed...

Yes...

From now on, he will have his world.

That was the promise before... and after years of searching. He finally uncovered it.

It was inside his mind all along...

(Closer than you think)

An incredibly vast space existed, with darkness everywhere and in the middle. Existed there was a small world the size of an atom from the large scale of the darkness.

He can project the space onto the water surface without closing his eyes. It is far more manageable this way for him to observe the progress of his world.

His very first world...

There needs to be an introduction and guidance, like always...

He will have to explore it on his own for now.

"Though I do not know why I have been chosen for such a gift. I will no longer muddle with it... the past shall remain within, and I should strive for the future. "

He mumbled alone, his eyes glittering in a cold, mysterious light.
The town was as peaceful as ever as the populace went about in harmony.

And he sat peacefully in his little courtyard, gracefully sipping the tea on the side with his eyes closed occasionally.

Everything... is terrific.

"How should I operate this?... "

He pondered for a moment.

Attempting to manipulate the world with his thoughts.

From his perspective, the world was still barren with nothing on it.

Only a flat land that went on for eternity. No grass... no rocks... and no mountains.

This means he could see the whole world from sitting alone, though others could only see the pond, not the tiny dirt dot.

"Then can I? project myself there?"

He mulled over it for a moment...

Shifting his thoughts and will toward the world.

And soon enough, a miracle happened.

The world shook! as the wind raged in wrath...

*Boom!*

An enormous colossus of light descended onto the land as the two glowing eyes wondered for a moment in puzzlement.

"I succeeded... test number 1 completed."

He uttered in amazement.

But then an even stranger thing occurred. He had always hoped for that one thing since he entered this world.

(Features unlocked: Creator projection into the world. Being able to change the world on his own manually. Invisible, immortal, and laws above all. Only applicable in this world.)

"... "

He went voiceless momentarily after hearing this sudden mechanical statement inside his mind.

That one voice that should have accompanied him from back then finally arrived. Though it set nothing in his heart. Calm as ever...

"Well, since this voice has been awakened. Does that mean I can interact with it?"

"... "

"System?"

Minutes later... after he waited. None responded other than the leaves rustling noises above.

"Maybe it's a form of command rather than informal communication?"

"Well then... System activate"

He commanded...

(Activating authorization. The modular user had been identified. Active interaction will be initiated)

(Completed)

(Welcome host,)

"There you are... "

He smiled with satisfaction...

His path ahead in operating this world would be much easier now.

" Introduce me to the basic operation manual on how to operate this world."

(Authorization received.)

(Operation manual. The host can manually shape this world by hand... )

(First. To grab and utilize outside materials, objects, or even energies into the host's small world to shape, form, and construct a new realm structure to the host's liking. The system will manage and synchronize everything under the will and laws.)

(Second, Astral projection. The host can coat the world onto others' flat "place" outside the astral void inside the host's mind. Be aware that the world will be remodeled to the new surroundings. )

(Third. Host above all. The host is the ultimate form of world laws, structures, and power. No matter how strong they got, any creatures within the small they have nev er can harm the host in any way. The host controls the time, essence, and death of every creature that ever existed here.)

(More features or explanations can be inquired about and need to be unlocked manually)

" I see... "

He mumbled softly...

As he began to process all of this information,

Hours later... after reorganizing his mind after receiving all of that information. He finally stood up from his chair and shut his eyes closed.

An instant later... he found himself standing in the barren land. His size was enormous as his body glowed in sacred light.

Shrouding his entirety with his pair of giant eyes, he glistened in the cold gleam.

"Then... let's begin."

"First step... shape the world!"

*Rumbles* *Rumbles*

"And the best way to do such a thing is by destruction!"

He uttered in a deep and majestic voice.

His voice echoed throughout the world, but none other than himself could hear it.
The void cracked as the space rioted in rage...

The world shook in tremors as he lifted his palm toward the sky.

The wind blistered all around the heaven, and his eyes glanced all over the world briefly.

"Shatter!"

He shouted!!

His palm descended onto the ground as the force that it developed punctured the earth.

*BOOM!*

A heaven-shaking explosion blasted forth into this world, and in the next moment, an immense amount of heat cruised through the land countless times in a flash.

The land burned, and then the earth broke into pieces as the majestic force turned the landscape upside down.

*Rumbles* *Rumbles* *Rumbles*

Dust storms swept through the world, and the earth below began to crack more and more.

"Adjust the time to a million years per second."

*BOOM!*

Then, in a moment...

The world began to alter in colors at a terrifying speed. The landscape and the plate movement...

Mountains appeared with scorching lava all around the world.
The land is yet suitable enough for living creatures to exist.

Hours passed by, and finally...

"Stop the time."

He whispered...

*Boom!*

The world finally stopped in its movement as the view eventually became clear to his eyes.

Though for millions of years... he had discerned all of it. No place was left unattended by his sights...

The world was still covered in lava... and tall black mountains. There was no water yet... inside this world.

Remember that once, he projected the world onto the water surface. The system will reconstruct the world based on its surroundings.

This so-called world is a vast continent that could rival the size of the sun.

Due to its immense heat from the palm of the creator. The water affected none but the outer perimeter of the continent.

"Then... I will create large lakes and rivers all around the world."

" After that, I will let the process take off independently."

He slowly tore the space next to him with his hand and grabbed the shovel from the corner of his courtyard.

It was a simple wooden shovel that was leaning against the wall. It was in the corner... laying there silently after many years it had been abandoned.
Grabbing it from the torn space...

He noticed something strange. The shovel glowed in divine light... fluctuations and even wisps of green energies all around it.

"I assume that anything I brought from the outside world will be remodeled into a sacred item or tool. In other words, augmented?"

"Then that will be rather helpful, I must say."

5 hours later...

It was reaching nighttime in the outside world. The birds were flocking about to their nest as the clouds vacated away to the next area.

Darkness began to inundate the whole horizon as the populace within the town placed the lanterns and torches out.

Peaceful as ever...

Back in the small courtyard...

Liam was standing motionlessly next to the pond with his eyes closed.
His long white hair fluttered against the wind, and his white robes were gently scrubbed against the soft breeze.

Like an Immortal... but a humble one.

*Breathes!*

He exhaled all of a sudden.

Unwrapping his eyes in satisfaction with his hand propped against his waist. He stood too long!...

"Fuh... that took so long to finish."

He lamented with a tired face... after all, he is a mortal. His back felt as if he had been crushed against a rock... It hurts!.

"It's night already... I should go to sleep for now."

"I had already filled in the water into the lakes and rivers. All it takes now would be patience."

"I had changed the time to 1 million years per hour. I should be able to see some results tomorrow."

*Yawn!*

He yawned slightly with his palm clasped against his mouth.

"Well then... it's time to sleep."
