Quinn's pov

 Finally, done with school. I happily walked out of Harvard, my degree in law gotten, I couldn't wait to start working but sadly things didn't seem to want to go my way today. My phone suddenly rang, I checked it with annoyance as I stopped before my car, the name icon showed mum. * Sigh * 'what does she want now?' I thought with annoyance as I picked up the call.

Quinn: picked up call “Quinn speaking, if by any chance this isn't important do cut the call."

 Mummy “laughs softly” Quinn you've graduated so you're coming home, right. "

 Quinn: amused “I wasn't planning to, why, do you want me home?”

 Mummy: “yes dear, come home and bring wedding gifts.”

 Quinn: confused "who's getting married?”

Mummy: “you’ll know when you get here, and get yourself a man.”

 Quinn: annoyed " don't even think about it Mrs. Sarah. Bye. See you soon. "

 I ended the call as I sighed softly while my hands softly felt my black and blue short dreads as I called my girl's number.

 Winnie: acting shocked “and what could the famous Quinn want from me."

 Quinn: smiling “save your act, you're a lawyer not an actress Winnie”

 Winnie: speaking smugly “could be both. Now why do you suddenly have time for me? "

 Quinn: sighs " I'm going back home”

 Winnie: “I thought you were going to stay to start working?”

 Quinn: “my mum called, apparently a wedding is happening and my presence is demanded."

 Winnie: sad “oh, so that means -

 Quinn: “yeah”

 Winnie: “you’re going back to Nigeria” 

 Quinn: amused “where else would I go, china?” 

 Winnie: laughs " not a bad choice eh.”

 Quinn: “anyway, I'll call you when I land, ok?” 

 Winnie: chuckles “no way in hell bitch” 

 Quinn: closes eyes softly “and why is that?”

 Winnie: “because I'm coming with you. I mean you're going to return after the wedding, so I have no reason not to be there babe. "

 Quinn: “whatever, meet me at the airport in five hours.”

 Winnie: “why five, you're already packed.”

 Quinn: " you aren't and wedding gifts”

 Winnie: “ok. See you in five. "

 Quinn: " not my choice anyway” 

 Winnie: laughing “bye!”
