Carlos and Fox's expressions changed rapidly. They didn't even have time to feel joy before it was replaced by terror, as the two sniper bullets took less than six seconds to fly from the sniper rifle and hit Clark and Robert.

Indeed, after some intelligence gathering by the Brotherhood, they had finally located Clark. After several days of planning, Carlos and Fox felt confident they could successfully complete their mission, especially since Clark and Robert looked no different from ordinary people...

However, when the sniper bullets didn't blow Clark and Robert's heads off, Carlos and Fox's hearts went cold in an instant. Without any hesitation, they dropped the sniper rifle and ran! "Why are they trying to kill us?" Clark was still in shock, his gaze locked on Carlos and Fox, his eyes filled with confusion.

"Who cares why! If they dare to kill us, they must pay the price!" Robert didn't think too much about it. He immediately took to the air, flying towards Carlos and Fox! Robert: Can I tolerate this insult? I just mastered the art of aerial dance again!

"Fly?" Clark was stunned to see Robert flying over. He hadn't expected Robert to display a capability he had never seen before.

Clark: You always manage to surprise me with something new.

Robert flew quickly, much faster than Carlos and Fox, even when they got into a car. Moreover, the red dot on Robert's forehead had disappeared during his flight.

"Hmph!" Robert looked at Carlos and Fox hiding in the car and sent a shockwave towards the car's trunk.

With a loud "Bang!", the car was sent flying, flipping in mid-air with its wheels spinning wildly. However, there was no movement inside the car, as if Carlos and Fox had died from the crash.

Robert quickly landed in front of the car and tore off the door. Just then, two dark gun barrels aimed at Robert and fired simultaneously. "Bang!" "Bang!"

"You didn't think playing dead would work on me, did you?" Robert, slightly disdainful, had already dodged the two bullets by moving to the side. He then grabbed Carlos and Fox out of the car with one hand each.

"Hmm?" What Robert hadn't expected was that the two bullets he dodged suddenly turned around and shot towards his head again.

"Bang!" "Bang!"

Unfortunately, the bullets missed again after Robert dodged by tilting his head, and they couldn't turn around to target him a second time.

"Special abilities?" Robert was somewhat surprised by the unfamiliar assassins in front of him. Just as he was about to ask something, he saw Fox pull out a dagger from his waist and stab towards Robert's chest, while Carlos simultaneously aimed for Robert's eyes and throat.

As for the counterattack from Carlos and Fox, Robert resolved it simply by lifting and slamming them to the ground. Their attack was not only neutralized, but the strong impact also severely deformed their bodies, causing them to tremble in pain.

"Ah..." Carlos and Fox clenched their teeth but still let out weak moans of pain.

"Robert...?" Clark, coming over and seeing Robert's brutal methods, opened his mouth to say something but then suddenly noticed something odd about Carlos and Fox. He instinctively warned, "Be careful! Their adrenaline is spiking, they still have the ability to fight back!"

Just as Clark had said, Carlos and Fox seemed to temporarily ignore the pain in their bodies, erupting with powerful strength and attacking Robert together.

"Crack!" "Crack!"

But, Robert didn't give them any chance, directly breaking their arms and then their limbs, instantly rendering them incapable of resistance.

"Ah!!!" The pain of having their limbs broken was unbearable even for seasoned killers. Carlos and Fox could no longer withstand the pain and screamed out.

"Tell us, why do you want to kill us!" Robert, without any sympathy or mercy, asked Carlos and Fox.

"Hah! Killing us will only continue the endless pursuit! Destined to become a god? You're nothing but a false god! You've already been discovered by the true god, and all that awaits you is death!" Fox, enduring the pain, yelled at Clark, then closed his eyes, muttering, "To kill one is to save a thousand. We toil in the darkness but serve the light..."

Clark: (_?)>Is she talking to me? "What's this about?" Robert was also puzzled as he looked at Fox, suspecting the assassin had lost her mind. He then turned his gaze to Carlos.

But Carlos remained silent, his body tense with pain, glaring defiantly at Robert without saying a word.

"Never mind, I'll do it myself!" Robert sighed, shaking his head in resignation, and reached out to touch Fox's head.

Fox's body trembled slightly but didn't stop, continuing to recite his creed as if calmly facing his own death.

"The Brotherhood? Assassins? Fox? Leader Sloan? Following the orders of the Loom of Fate, killing whoever the Loom dictates?" After a while, Robert retrieved some simple memories from Fox's brain, getting some information. However, Robert couldn't understand why a group of people would follow the orders of a loom, even though it seemed quite sinister.

"You!" Hearing Robert's words, Fox, who was reciting his creed, looked at Robert with a face full of horror, then bitingly said, "So, there's more than one false god. You, false god, will go to hell..."

With a "Pfft!" before Fox could finish, Robert's palm released a shockwave that obliterated Fox from head to toe, not even a drop of blood was spilled.

"Robert..." Seeing Fox killed by Robert, Clark's eyes flashed with a hint of reluctance, and he called out subconsciously, while Carlos, witnessing Fox's death, showed a flicker of terror in his eyes.

"You don't want me to let them go, do you?" Robert raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised as he looked at Clark, "They came after us, and they've already figured out where we live. Do you think letting them go would be good for Mom and Dad?"

"Can we withstand their bullets? Can Mom and Dad withstand bullets? Or do you think you can protect Mom and Dad all the time? If something really happens to them, it'll be too late for regrets!"
