A knock came at the door as I was still admiring how I looked in the mirror?

“What about Auntie Akira and Uncle Ryujii? Do they know about all this?” I asked, feeling nervous about answering the door.

Touya laughed and said, “Of course they do, Aunt Akira is your birth mother Hikari-sama's cousin, after all.”

I felt a sense of relief at his words, but also a small tugging at my chest. I knew I was adopted, and they were family to my parents, but I never knew anything about my birth parents. I grew up thinking they were no longer with us, but that wasn't the case.

As the door slowly opened, I saw Auntie Akira come through. She had long black hair and a gentle aura surrounding her. When she saw me, she took a long breath, tears shedding from her eyes as she held her arms out and said, “You look beautiful, Rose.”

The tugging sensation released its grip, and I ran into Auntie Akira’s arms, hugging her tightly, feeling her warm and soothing embrace.

Slowly pulling away from the embrace, I wiped away my tears and straightened my posture, steeling myself for what lay ahead.

“Rose, there are two very special people waiting to see you downstairs,” Auntie Akira said, her voice soft yet filled with significance.

Touya stood by my side, offering silent support as we made our way out of the room and into the hallway.

With a reassuring squeeze of Touya's hand, I followed Auntie Akira out of the room and down the stairs. Each step felt like a journey into the unknown, a path leading me closer to the truth that had eluded me for years.

Upon reaching the living room, my gaze fell upon two women standing by the window, their silhouettes illuminated by the soft glow of the afternoon sun. Hikari and Sora - my birth mothers. The sight of them sent a jolt of recognition through me, stirring memories long buried beneath layers of time and distance.

Hikari, with her long black hair and piercing blue eyes, exuded a sense of quiet strength and grace. Sora, with her striking silver hair and crimson eyes, radiated an otherworldly beauty that spoke of her vampire heritage.

Hesitant yet determined, I stepped forward, my heart pounding in my chest. Hikari and Sora turned to face me, their expressions a mix of joy, sorrow, and longing.

"Rose..." Hikari whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. Tears welled up in her eyes as she reached out to embrace me for the first time in years.

Overwhelmed by the flood of emotions, I cried out, “Mamas!” Before, I sank into my mother's embrace, tears streaming down my cheeks. In that moment, the years of longing and uncertainty melted away, replaced by a profound sense of belonging and acceptance.

Sora approached us, her eyes shining with unshed tears as she joined the embrace. "Our precious Rose," she murmured, her voice choked with emotion. "We never stopped loving you."

Wrapped in the warmth of my two mothers' love, I felt a sense of completeness wash over me.

We released our hug, after what felt like a long time. The was when my mother Sora spoke and said, “I am sure you have a lot of questions, but first there is something that you must do to gain a better understanding of who you are.”

“Of course, what is it?” I asked having slight intuition about what I will need to do, giving Touya a slight glance, as he looked on at us with a warm smile, causing me to relax more.

“You need to drink blood, sweetheart, especially now that the seal broke, otherwise you will be driven by an unsurmountable hunger and attack the closest person.” My mother Hikari explained.

Touya walked towards before patting my head gently and said, “That's where I come in, Rose-sama. I would be honored to become your blood servant again.”

My face blushed slightly, seeing his cool gaze from his icy blue eyes meeting mine. Holding my head where he patted it, I looked at him with slightly upturned eyes and asked, “Are you sure, you know being a blood servant means that you will be with me for all eternity? When I was sealed, your duty as a blood servant was removed, and you have the opportunity to live a normal life if you want.” I remembered the memories I had as Himeko, how Touya would tease me, and keep some distance from us. I also remembered seeing him around many different friends and girls.

I guess my jealousy showed on my face while thinking about those memories, as he laughed and said, “Of course I want to, Rose-sama. I kept my distance because I wanted to keep an eye on everything around you, and you...” He stopped before seeming as if he was contemplating something.

“And...?” I asked with a blushed face. ‘Please continue, I need to know your real feelings. I need to hear them to confirm my own,’ I thought to myself.

“It hurt knowing the girl I loved was sealed away, but the boy she became acted the exact same as she always did. I wanted to be around you, but you were being bullied, so I tried to keep my distance, to protect you from a distance. I am sorry if I hurt you in any way. I love you, Rose-sama.”

Tears spilled down my face, as I ran to him, hugging him even tighter than I did when I woke up.

“Rose-sama, you're squeezing me too tight, I can’t breathe...” Touya stammered, trying to gasp for air.

“Ah, sorry, Touya. I guess I don’t know my own strength. I love you too, Touya. The first person I wanted to see when I got my memories in that dream was you. It was you in that dream that I wanted to protect more than anything.” I said with a heartfelt smile.

“My, my, it seems our Princess has found her first prince,” my mother Sora said with a small giggle, which caused Mother Hikari and Auntie Akira to giggle as well.

My face flushed red at their teasing, and I wanted to ask what Mother Sora meant by the first, when a wave of hunger and dizziness hit me. I slumped over, falling into Touya’s arms.

“Please hurry, Rose-sama, you need to suck my blood,” Touya said, unbuttoning his shirt slightly so I could see the nape of his neck.

My eyes glowed a bright red, and my hunger seemed to intensify. I whispered, “Thank you,” before I bit down gently and started sucking his blood. His slight moans from getting his blood sucked only made me want to drink more. However, I knew if I drank any more, his life would be at risk. ‘This is what my mother meant by the first. As my powers start getting stronger, I will need more servants to satisfy my hunger, and for the blood servant pact to be made, there has to be a strong bond between the master and servant,’ I thought to myself before I pulled away, locking eyes with Touya’s.

As I reluctantly pulled away from Touya's neck, a mix of emotions flooded my mind. The metallic tang of blood lingered on my tongue, sending a shiver down my spine. It was both exhilarating and terrifying, the realization of what I had just done sinking in.

"I-I'm sorry, Touya," I stammered, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "I didn't mean to...to..."

Touya gently placed a finger on my lips, silencing my faltering words. "It's alright, Rose-sama," he said softly, his eyes filled with understanding. "You couldn't help it. It's part of who you are now."

His words offered some comfort, but the weight of my actions still hung heavy in the air. The realization that I was no longer human, that I craved the very essence of life itself, was a bitter pill to swallow.

"Rose-sama, it's normal to feel conflicted," Touya continued, his voice a soothing balm to my troubled thoughts. "But you must remember, you are not alone. We will navigate this together, every step of the way."

Before I could speak further, Mother Hikari stepped forward, her expression a mix of concern and reassurance. "Rose, my dear, are you feeling alright?" she asked, her voice gentle yet tinged with worry.

I nodded, unable to meet her gaze. "I-I'm fine, Mother," I replied, forcing a small smile. "Just...adjusting to everything."

Mother Sora joined us, her eyes softening with motherly affection. "It's natural to feel overwhelmed, my little Rosebud," she said, her voice soothing. "But you have us and Aunt Akira here to guide you."

Aunt Akira stepped forward, her presence a comforting presence amidst the uncertainty. "Indeed, Rose-chan," she chimed in, her tone warm and reassuring. "We're all here for you, every step of the way."

As the warm embrace of my mothers and Aunt Akira enveloped me, a sense of peace washed over me, dispelling the lingering doubts and fears that had clouded my mind. With their unwavering support and guidance, I felt ready to confront the truths that had long been shrouded in mystery.

"It's time," Mother Hikari declared, her voice filled with determination. "We need to explain everything to Rose."

Mother Sora nodded in agreement; her gaze unwavering. "Indeed, it's time for Rose to learn the truth about her powers and the bond between a vampire and her blood servant."

And as we gathered in the warmth of the living room, surrounded by the comforting embrace of family, my mothers and Aunt Akira began to explain my new world.
