"mommy what's happening?" I asked "where are you and Smokeseer going?"

"we'll come back Star don't worry" Mother reassured me

"you promise?" I ask Mother and Smokeseer glance at each other

"listen even if we don't come back you need to promise something" Smokeseer leaned over and hugged me

"anything" I whisper 

"promise that you'll always know I'm proud of you and always will love you" Smokeseer said "promise that you'll never forget that"

"I promise, promise" I say "I love you too sissy"

"I have to go" Smokeseer said looking up at Eclipse who was waiting, impatiently twitching her tail.

only four NightWings had the super speed power so they were sending them all ahead of everyone else. Smokeseer happened to be one. mother would be in the front with her super strength.

"I love you Starsoarer" Mother said giving me a hug

I was only one at the time which was too young to fight and barely enough to fly five feet.
