This is about the best solution I could come up with to explain some of these terms. "Bioresonance" isn't likely to come up anytime soon because everyone currently in the story is either an Esper, knows an Esper intimately enough to understand, and/or is nonverbal and just wouldn't ask. You can literally just google what an Esper is, though. Meanwhile "neoresonance" being listed is more of a teaser than anything. :3c
As for the personal and interpersonal terminologies, literally nobody in the story has any reason to ever ask because in their cultures these are all well-established terms. Some of these aren't mentioned yet but might be later so why not?
"Why dam and sire instead of mom and dad? Why nepha?"
Well, Fray's never gonna call the person who gave birth to her "mom" if they're an androgyne... and of course that person would never call Aruli who is an androgyne their "niece" or "nephew".
Oh, and just in case someone decides to bring up my use of certain words: I'm Intersex, I'm a herm, and those two things have about as much in common with each other as being Trans and using shorthand for an automotive transmission... or being Inters*x and nonbinary. On one hand you've got a homonym with only loose etymological connection that resembles a certain slur... and on the other you have two very different things with two very different origins, dynamics, and everything, yet just enough in common in just the right ways for one to inspire the other... and for random joes to shove them in the same box together much to everyone's discontent. https://hermpride.carrd.co/
(I dunno why this thing wants to put that asterisk there, on that and only that iteration of the word, but it ain't lettin' me fix it.)
