Long ago, mankind ate the forbidden fruit. Humans gained freewill and knowledge to rise above all creatures.

With their new found power, there was nothing that could threaten humans but themselves.

Although there are some beings that study a technology other than science. Those beings are called magi.

The magi were set aside from other beings. Some were called as deities, some were burned on a stake.

As humans developed even further, some magi saw it fit to just integrate into humanity and hide.

"Aaahhhh...!"

A teenager stretched her arm above her head and arched the other one over her head.

"I finally completed the Pokedex..!!"

The girl fell backward and laid flat on her back.

"Time to get back to work..."

She let out a loud sigh with a pout on her face.
