Weird.

This is what I feel.

I can totally feel the grass beneath my skin. But it oddly feels good.

Either way it might be bad so if I just open my eyes...

-few minutes ago-

-Greetings lost soul. I your guide welcomes you to the world of Dicera.-

"Dicera?" 

-That's right. Your soul traveled all the way here. I'm not sure why but it must be your fate. Or perhaps it's just a part of the world's probability.-

"I see?" I replied halfheartedly.

-it seems it doesn't feel real yet. Anyways allow me to start is that acceptable?-

"I guess."

-good. Every soul that comes here at Dicera receives various ability in order to adopt in this vast world. That said it is a rarity that someone like yours who came from different world managed to reach here since most of the souls who went reincarnation only came from this world alone. That said it is nigh impossible for a soul from this world to go to another one because the moment you enter this world, your soul already went changes and this changes are not acceptable in another world.-

"Huh... I understand I think?"

-it's normal to feel confused and I am here to answer your questions before sending you in. That said allow me to continue first.-

"Got it."

- As I mentioned earlier, every soul here at Dicera receives a skill or some sorts which you can use later. With that I will now ask you various questions to determine what type of skills you will receive. Are you ready?-

"Yes."

- Good. First what is your name?-

"Can I use my name before I died?"

-Yes. In fact you can use another name. But do remember your name will remain your name until the end of the world. Since death here is not the end. Please remember that.-

"Got it. My name is Eris. Eris Elk."

- Confirmed. Your soul are now named Eris Elk.-

- Now for the next question. What is your gender?-

" Female."

-Confirmed. As for your appearance please imagine in your head. What your appearance will be.-

"Got it." I vividly imagine my past appearance. I have a 5'3 height and fit body since I love sports before. My hair are shoulder length black straight hair and other details.

- Confirmed. Now initiating the skill acquisition phase. Before we proceed do you confirm all this information? Remember that this is not undoable later.-

"Yes."

- Received dicer's confirmation. Now explaining the skill acquisition. We will now decide the skills you will be receiving. In front of you 6 dice with question marks on each side will appear. I want you to choose one among them.-

"Just one?"

-Yes.-

"Then I choose the 6th die."

-Confirmed. Now please take a hold on that die and roll. Let that die you hold decide your future.-

"My future huh... Alright here goes nothing." I grabbed the 6th die. As soon as I grabbed it the color changed to gold and the sides changed symbols. That said all I see are.

"Dice?"

-congratulations. It seems you are holding the golden die with die marks at all sides. This is the dice of "Luck". All luck skills series will be unlocked.-

-Congratulations on your skill acquisition. You are the very first holder of the luck series. Now proceeding to the final phase. Before we proceed do you have any questions?-

"Umm.. I'm surprised but is it normal to obtain a what you call it. Series?" I ask curiously.

-under normal circumstances yes and no. As for the reason. All dice that are presented are always random. And what you get will depend on your fate, your luck for such is the probability. After all "Dice tells no lies" is a known saying in the world of Dicera.-

"I see."

-Then I take it as you don't have any more questions.-

"Yes."

-confirmed. Initiating send off phase. As a beginner privilege all new souls receives 4 white dice and a random skill dice. Once you open your eyes simply say the word "Status" if you wish to see your current status screen. There you can check which status would you like to increase or your current skills. I suggest going to the academy if you want to learn more about basic informations. Well then may you have a good new life.-

"Thank you miss guide"

-your gratitude is un needed but thanks nonetheless. I welcome you to the world of Dicera.-

And my body slowly start to dissipate. As I'm about to disappear I noticed some low whispers but the sounds are getting distorted so I can't make up what it is.

-present-

I slowly open my eyes and saw a vast field of green. I am laying outside the walls and I can see small jelly like creatures bouncing around. I look around to check my surroundings.

"Where am I?" I remain standing as I scratch my head while looking around clueless.

"Hey get over this wall it's dangerous there!" A man from the gate screamed at me.

I quickly run towards the voice and saw a large bulky man holding a giant wrench.

"Umm.. where am I?" I asked curiously.

"What do you mean where? Oh perhaps are you a new dicer? If so you are at the border of area 4 in zone 1." He replied.

Area 4? Zone 1? What is this. Maybe it's better to ask him.

"Area 4? What do you mean?."

"Eh? You went out without knowing?" He replied with a face palm upon hearing my question.

"Ehe?" I replied.

"Don't ehe me you idiot." He land a chop on my head.

"Ouch" I cried.

"When you spawned in the center the guide told you to go to the academy right?" He screamed at me.

"Spawn? Guide?" I tilt my head.

"Eh? Wait... Don't tell me you spawn there?" He points at the place I am standing earlier.

I nod aggressively.

"And no monster attacked you? Even the slimes?" 

Once again I nod aggressively.

"Wow. You must be one lucky and unlucky girl."

"Ehehe" I smiled happily at him because I felt like he is praising me.

"That said to spawn outside... No clue. Anyways I am Bern. Bernard August. I work at the academy. Or more like I fixed things there with my buddy here." He said while flexing his big wrench. Then reach out his hand for a handshake.

"Eris. Eris elk." I answered as I shake his hand.

"Well first of all welcome to Dicera I guess. It's always nice to have more helping hand since monsters are getting restless nowadays. Oh I also teach survival skills every afternoon at the academy so join my class if you have time." 

"Will do." I replied .

"Before I forgot here." He passed a small bag to me.

"What is this?"

"Free stuff. You are supposed to receive one upon entering the academy but since you got spawned here instead might as well give you one."

"I see. What's in here?"

"There is a map, 6 white dice, 6 basic skill dice and 100 gold. By the way keep in mind that all dicers can only use 6 active skill dice while there are no limits for passive skills. Also it's rare but if you have a series dice you don't have to equip it since the skills are embed directly on your soul. But those are very rare so goodluck having one."

"Got it. Thanks Bernard."

"Just Bern. Full name sounds so formal I hate it. Anyways I still have work so come inside the wall now. I suggest visiting the church or academy if you want to learn about this world and how it works. See you!" He walked away while waving off.

"Thanks again!" I shout at him.

I worn the bag right away and head inside the wall.

(Maybe I should head to the church first then academy later. Bern said he is teaching survival. Sounds helpful.)

And so my adventure starts today. I wonder what kind of new life I will have here. In the world of Dicera.
