Waking up to an object hitting my head I look up making eye contact with the teacher at the head of the room clenching his teeth. 

 

“Yu Jie I would appreciate if you could pay attention and not doze off in the middle of class” 

 

With a blank look I looked around leaning my back into my chair I ruffle my hair 

 

“I’m sorry teacher”  snorting the teacher turned back to face the board. 

 

Placing my book up in front of me I placed my head back onto the desk 

 

[Yu Jie: Little bun wtf is going on where am I?]

 

[System: Master you should be happy due to you getting a perfect score once again you get a vacation! Thus the higher-ups picked an easy world for you this timeヾ(≧▽≦*)o ]

 

[Yu Jie: Is that why this body has the same name as me?]

 

[System: ~Ding~ Bingo o(*^▽^*)o]

 

[Yu Jie: Just give me the original hosts information]

 

[System: Yes sir (≧∀≦ゞ]

 

This mission world is pretty normal. The original host of this body is the son of the Yu family; they have a monopoly over most of the real state in A city. 

 

He currently attends the Academy of creative arts, one of the top-rated colleges in china to pursue an acting career with the full support of his family. His family dotes on him and gives him anything he wants but the original host had a major case of narcissism. 

 

No one was better than him, not even his parents. He didn't show love or affection to his family; he saw them more as a stable income than a family.   

He has no real involvement with the development of the world.

[Feeling stressed Yu Jie sighed: Haaa ok give me the mission world’s information]

 

[System: o(*^▽^*)o]

 

Lian He studied at the Academy of creative arts and she was considered the acting department's beauty. She had a soft-spoken personality but when she was acting a spark would ignite in her eyes. She loved acting more than anything. It brought her joy nothing else could.  

 

It was well known that she was being pursued by a business tycoon after she auditioned for a small part in a drama. Luo Bai ran one of the top 3 entertainment companies in china and offered her an exclusive contract with his company. 

 

After graduating from the Academy Lian He entered Luo Bai’s entertainment company Essence media. A year after Lian He joined Luo Bai’s company the two of them announced that they were officially dating.

 

A year after that Lian He retired from the entertainment industry because she was pregnant with Luo Bai’s child. She lived quietly for the rest of her life never returning to the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, she died while giving birth to her beloved baby boy

 

[Yu Jie: …...So Why do I need to know about the Female and male leads? Where's the cannon fodder I’m supposed to be helping?]

 

[System: Don’t be mad! (ｼ;ﾟДﾟ) I as your loyal system have given you all the information, I promise! ] 

 

[Gritting his teeth Yu Jie smiled: Do you think I’m f*cking stupid? Do you think I’m going to fall for that? HUH! Give Me The Rest before I pull out your hair one by one]

Hearing a pop-up notification I smile 

 

Luo Bai has a secretary named Yong Feng who has been infatuated with Luo Bai and was insanely jealous of Lian He and would try her best to sabotage Lian He and Luo Bai’s relationship. She was constantly plotting and even got Luo Bai to let her stay at his house???  

 

Following Lian He’s pregnancy, Young Feng became even worse going as far as to push the heavily pregnant Lian He down a flight of stairs causing her to be hospitalized and lose the baby. Falling into depression Lian He wouldn’t eat and would refuse to go out even going as far as locking her bedroom door and piling up all the furniture in the room in front of the door. She would scream every time she heard a noise outside her room. 

 

Yong Feng then announced she was pregnant with Luo Bai’s child, only sending Lian He further into depression and hysteria. The man that said he would only have eyes for her betrayed her and touched another woman and judging from Yong Feng’s stomach she was soon to give birth. 

 

Everything made so much more sense Luo Bai’s pleading to her to stay home during her pregnancy wasn’t due to concern for her but concern for her finding out about Yong Feng. With everything coming to light, Lian He jumped from her windows balcony falling to her death. Even in death, Luo Bai didn't let her go never announcing her actual death to the public even going as far as making It seem as if she died in the process of giving birth, Making everyone believe that Yong Feng's child was actually Lian He's.     

 

[Yu Jie: …….]

 

[System: ...M-Master?]

 

Sighing heavily I rubbed my temples

 

[Yu Jie: So the supposed Female Lead ended up becoming cannon fodder...Why?]

 

[System: @#07@#%$^&%]

 

[Yu Jie: Little bun?]

 

[System: Error#07]

 

[Yu Jie: ...]

 

[System:...Are you ok Master? (•﹏•)]

 

[Yu Jie: I don’t know whether to laugh or cry]

Hearing the bell ring I gathered my things, spotting three figures approaching me out of the corner of my eyes I squinted condemning them in my mind. Ah if it isn’t the typical the unruly young masters that only know how to party “friends”

 

 “Hey Yu Jie Let's skip the next class after lunch” 

 

“Yeah also you promised to treat us yesterday remember”

 

Swinging my backpack onto my shoulder I walk past them as I head to the door their yells echoing after me

 

“Hey, where are you going?

 

“Hey Yu Jie”

 

Walking through the halls I converse with the system

 

[Yu Jie: Little bun what class is the female lead in right now?]

 

[System: The female lead is having lunch right now]  

 

[Yu Jie: Ok tell me if she leaves]

 

[System: Eh? Where are you going?]

 

[Yu Jie: Bathroom I have to know what I look like]

 

Looking into the mirror I sighed

 

 “At least it isn’t that bad”

 

Looking at the face of the original host I couldn’t help but be a bit apprehensive. His features were ordinary and soft giving him a youthful appearance his small pink lips blended into his soft features perfectly. His black hair reached his nape and was cut in a very fresh style but what made him stand out was his brown Phoenix eyes that glistened with arrogance and pride. His height was decently tall, I guess 

 

Running my hand along my face I called out to my little bun

 

[Yu Jie: Little Bun]

 

[System: (´･ω･`)?]

 

[Yu Jie: Why is everything the original host’s features except my eyes?]

 

[System: Ah that, The higher-ups saw how hard the last world was for you, thus they incorporated some of your facial features so that you feel more like yourself. ٩(●ᴗ●)۶ Don’t worry no one will notice ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧]

 

[Yu Jie: Say things like this, in the beginning, I almost had a heart attack when the teacher said my real name and now this]  

 

[System: Σ(๑０ω０๑) Yes sir]

 

 Walking into the cafeteria I can already tell who the female lead is. Sitting at a table surrounded by men, radiating a strong protagonist, halo sits a flustered girl, her brown peach blossom eyes showing her helplessness, her long straight brown hair showing hints of red as the sun shines over her. Her pink lips were pouting as she shook her head.

 

Getting my food I walked over to her table and plopped myself down right next to her. Startled, she turned to stare at me, Ignoring her I began to eat my food quietly while scrolling through the original host’s phone trying to find more information. 

 

Seeing me uninterested in her she looked slightly disappointed then turned to ask the others to leave.

 

“I’m sorry but I will take your invitation into consideration, I’m going to go get my food now so...”

 

“Oh, In that case, well go with you”

 

“Oh… No that’s fine I don’t-”

 

“We insist let us take you there”

 

“...No, I-”

 

Irritated by all the chatter I looked over a sarcastic smile on my face. Raising my voice to where the whole cafeteria could hear I chuckle  

 

“Hey don’t you guys think it’s embarrassing, To think you don’t know where you're supposed to fetch your lunch. If you need help I understand but I already told you guys It's literally 10 steps away in that direction” 

 

Muffled laughter rang through the cafeteria. Flushing red the five men surrounding the table step towards me.

 

“What did you just say”

 

“Do you think we’re stupid? we know where to get our food”

 

Shaking my head I leaned back in my chair crossing my arms over my chest giving them a pitying look 

 

“Look at you tsk I understand your embarrassment but If you didn’t want people to know you could have walked away to go get your food by now. Am I wrong?

 

Grabbing me by the collar of my shirt one of the men tried to pull me from my chair

 

“YOu-”

 

Standing up from her chair the female lead smacked his hand away and pointed her finger at his face looking angry, her cheeks flushed red as her eyes glistened with unshed tears.

 

“Please Stop, He’s right, I had already pointed you in the direction of the food section Yet you still kept asking for me to take you there. Yet now you want to hit my friend because you didn’t even care to look around and just assumed he was lying to you!” 

 

After adjusting my collar I lean on the table with my elbow resting on the table holding up my head with my Palm, raIsing my eyebrow.

 

[Yu Jie: This is the girl that got fooled by a scum man?]

 

[System: Do you want me to run a scan on her?]

 

[Yu Jie: No it’s fine...This should be interesting] 

 

Whispers and disapproving looks were directed at the five men causing them to glare at me as they left in a rush. Seeing them leave everyone gave us one last look before going on with their business. 

 

Glancing at me the Female lead walked away. A couple of minutes later she comes back with food in hand. Once again glancing at me she sits down and begins to eat 

 

Leaning on the table with my phone in hand I smash my finger on the screen as I try to beat a level on a game I found installed on the phone. Looking over at me the Female lead sips on her juice putting the cup down she nudges me with her elbow. Looking over at her I give her a blank look.

 

“What’s your name, stranger? My name is Lian He”

 

 Reaching out her hand she smiles, Reaching out my hand to grab hers I shook her hand

 

“My name is Yu Jie nice to meet you Lian He”

 

“Heh Yu Jie thanks for your help”

 

“I wasn’t helping you they were just loud”

 

Looking at me wide-eyed Lian He burst out into sunny laughter 

 

“ I see, Well Yu Jie how do you feel if I ask you to come eat dinner with me after school?

 

Yawning I looked at her suspicion in my eyes I shifted away from her slightly 

 

“Why?

[System: Σ(°ロ°) Master she seems to have an appointment with Luo Bai today]

 

 

[Yu Jie: Oh… 三 ё~(、・ヮ・)]

“Ah, About that I’m sorry bu-”

 

 

Gripping my shoulders Lian He leaned in close to my face

 

 

“Please, I saw that you don’t get intimidated easily...I really need you” 

 

 

Releasing her grip on my shoulders she looked down tears about to spill out of her eyes. I handed her a napkin but as soon as I leaned closer she hugged me letting her tears spill out of her eyes and onto my shirt.

 

 

“Sniff Please Sniff come with me… Don’t be m-mean”

 

 

Seeing Lian He crying everyone around us started to whisper as they pointed in our direction. Gritting my teeth I patted her back.

 

“Fine”

 

 

As she went to pull away I pulled her back as I whispered through grit teeth  

 

 

“But you better tell me what the reason is after school...The truth or I’m not going”

 

 

Looking surprised she pulled away smirking giving me a wink  “Of course”

 

 

Looking at her I smiled a radiant smile dazzling her “By the way I’m gay”

 

 

Gathering my things I got up and walked away, a big smile on my face leaving behind a dumbstruck Lian He

 

 

[System: Master was that wise? Don’t you want her to befriend you? Isn’t it too soon to tell her?]

 

 

[Yu Jie: check her affection meter]

 

 

[System: ∑(￣□￣*|||  It's already at 61%] 

 

 

[Yu Jie: Heh (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧]

 

After school, I walked to the main gate. Spotting Lian He I waved as I walked to her. Smiling, she waved back as I approached her. 

“Yu Jie you actually came”

 

“Well Yeah...But you have to tell me why you wanted me to come”

 

“Ah, Well I want to be friends with you”

 

Looking at me she smiled and the sincerity in her eyes was real as she looked at me. Sighing I nod 

 

“Ok I’ll be your friend, But what else is it?

 

Looking anxious she started to fiddle with the hem of her shirt. Then she started rambling

 

“Well you see I wouldn’t normally do this kind of thing and I don’t know why but I feel connected to you…..When I saw you sit next to me in the cafeteria I thought you were the angel I prayed for, coming to help me”

 

 Pausing to take a big gulp of air she began to ramble again

 

 “So I thought since you're like my angel maybe you would be the solution to all my problems...so I need your help because this man is in the process of courting me but I already rejected him but he keeps coming to my home. At first, I let things he did slide but now I’m scared”  

 

Sighing I enveloped her in my arms patting her back and running my fingers through her hair

 

[System: Master someone just took a picture of you, the same person also took a picture of you two in the cafeteria. Do you want me to delete the pictures?

 

[Yu Jie: Don’t delete the pictures but track the person and find out who they sent them too]  

 

[System: Yes master, I’m on it c(＞ω＜)ゞ]

 

Having calmed down Lian He was embarrassed hiding her face behind the napkin I handed to her. 

 

“I’m sorry we just became friends...or more like I just met you yet I’m only crying”

 

Eyes softening I Smiled “It’s ok You seem like you’re having a hard time...I understand”

 

Nodding she clenched her fists and held them up to her chest “Right, This is no time to be upset, Fighting”

 

Laughing I nod “That’s the spirit”

 

Looking around Lian He looked anxious though not as much as before scanning the cars passing by her expression fell as she noticed a luxurious black car change lanes to park right in front of where we were standing. Expression hardening she gripped my sleeve

 

Watching as the door opened, A tall and muscular man got out of the car, his long legs and broad shoulders giving people the feeling of seeing a model walking down the runway. His facial features are sharp, his chiseled face giving him a dangerous air. His blue hooded eyes flicker with destain as his eyes briefly raked over Lian Ha’s hand gripping my sleeve. With an innocent expression, I placed my hand over hers in return I earned a glare from this scum man. 

 

[Yu Jei: Little bun]

 

[System: Yes master? Is something wrong? Uncomfortable?] 

 

[Yu Jei: Mhm Very Uncomfortable]

 

[System: What’s wrong?!]

 

[Yu Jei: Why does he have to be a scum man but be so sexy? (╥﹏╥)] 

 

[System: ……]

 

[Yu Jei: Little Bun? Are you mad?]

 

[System: (ﾉ´□｀)ﾉ ┫:･’∵:.┻┻:･’.:┣∵･:. ┳┳]

 

Sniffing a laugh I looked up into icy blue eyes slightly startled. I flinched. Feeling me flinch, Lian He forced a chuckle

 

“Haha, Umm Should we go, Mister Bai?

 

Looking over at her Luo Bai Noded. Walking over to the door he opened it motioning for her to get in first. Walking over she looked back pointing at me.

 

“He’s coming with me today, That’s ok right Mister Bai”

 

Before he could answer she waved me over and got in the car. Luo Bai’s Blue eyes flickered with destain once again and then a slight glint flashed through his eyes as he turned to smile at me. 

Before he could slide into the seat and close the door I ran and slid into the car making an excited face as I looked around at the car. Outside stood a stunned Luo Bai still holding onto the door snapping him out of his daze I exclaimed excitedly, eyes sparkling. 

 

“Wow, Mister Bai, this car is amazing, it even has air conditioning?! Amazing!

 

Scoffing Luo Bai fixed his suit as he looked at me briefly “Of course...I only like the finest things” 

 

Saying the last part of his sentence under his breath he shut the door as he made his way around the car trying to open Lian He’s door. Leaning over her I quickly locked the door and traded seats with her.

 

 Pulling on the car’s handle Lou Bai frowned then looked at the window smiling with a slight softness in his eyes, Smiling back at him with a confused expression on my face I waved at him.  

 

Yet again he looked stunned for a second before his expression turned to one of anger. Narrowing his eyes he let go of the handle and walked back around toward the other side of the car. Seeing him once again try to open Lian He’s car I cursed him in my mind 

 

Wtf Why is he so stubborn? Looking at Lian He that had tears in her eyes I sighed Ok big guy if you want to play games I’ll play with you all day long

 

Once again I hopped over towards the door he was trying to open that I had already locked before I traded seats with Lian He, But this time I exaggerated my movements so that I would look like a sloth as I climbed over Lian He. Not being able to hold in her laughter anymore she burst out into sunny laughter. 

 

Sitting in the seat I think Luo Bai finally got the hint seeing as he slapped the car door and then opened the passenger’s seat sliding in as he fixed his hair and suit, acting as if nothing happened. 

 

Holding in her laughter as soon as he opened the door Lian He Shook her phone at me, moving her lips to try to mouth to me.

 

“I got It on video” 

 

Mouthing back at her I scrunched up my face “Delete it” 

 

Holding the phone to her chest she shook her head “No way it’s my treasure now”

 

Most of the ride to the restaurant was silent, seeing how even the driver looked uncomfortable and seemed to be sweating despite the air conditioning. I decided to also remain quiet. 

Looking over at Lian Ha, She had her arms crossed and was leaning onto the closed window of the car enjoying the scenery. Seeing her so calm I leaned into the seat my arms crossed as I closed my eyes. 

 

Not long after I felt Lian Ha slip her hand into mine. Opening my eyes I looked over to see that we had arrived at the restaurant holding her hand. I opened the door and helped her get out. Annoyance once again flashed in Luo Bai’s eyes as he snorted and went first to go open the door for Lian Ha. 

 

Seeing his intention I let go of Lian Ha’s hand and raced towards the door beating him to it. Opening the door I motioned for him to go in first as I slightly bowed. Annoyance plain in his eyes Luo Bai walked inside but turned around and waited for us. 

 

Lian Ha took her time and seeing Luo Bai turn around to talk with a waiter she looked me straight in the eyes as she imitates my actions of acting like a sloth in the car. Looking at her making weird poses and faces I held in a laugh my cheeks flushing red. 

 

Noticing Luo Bai about to turn around she straightened and put a blank expression on her face. Turning around and seeing her still, a ways away Luo Bai’s lips pressed into a thin line looking annoyed.

 

 Slight surprise then joy flashed through Lian Ha’s eyes. Walking to our private room Luo Bai had his back to us as he led us through the halls. Eyes shining Lian Ha put her hand up to cover her mouth whispering “He’s never been annoyed by me before, We're winning YuYu!”    

 

Lips twitching. I covered my mouth mimicking her as I whispered “YuYu??”

 

Smiling she gave me a thumbs up “Yes that’s your nickname now”

 

Sitting in the private room, We ate...Well, I ate while Lian Ha and Luo Bai had a weird staring contest. Sighing Luo Bai softened his eyes and voice as he tried to talk to Lian Ha.

 

“Lian Ha Why did you bring him today?

 

“Mister Bai once said that I could bring people with me”

 

“Well yes but you didn’t even introduce us”

 

“Oh sorry I was in a rush”

 

“You were In a rush? Perhaps you were excited to eat with m-”

 

“My YuYu was hungry”

Smile stiffening Luo Bai looked at her stunned “Your YuYu?

 

“Yes My YuYu”

 

“Who?”

 

Pointing at me Lian He smiled a sunny smile that could light up the earth “YuYu as in My boyfriend Yu Jie”

 

Lian He: ✧( •˓◞•̀ )

 

Luo Bai: Σ(｀Д´　)!?

 

Me: •́ _ • 

 

[System: Σ( ° △ °)]

 

The waiter: (´･ω･`)?
