Diligence. Yesterday some system granted me this stat.

What is going on? Wasn't I just a book. I never thought about what I was and how I was created. I have so many questions!

 

Who am I?

I thought I was some kind of soul or person attached to a book on earth connected to a site on the internet.

But that can't be the case. Many things don't add up with that theory. For example, it shouldn't be difficult for me to write a story. I have the knowledge. But when I think about inventing a story I get a huge headache.

Where did my dream of going to the top come from? Was it from me? Or from my creator?

 

What's this system?

I unlocked diligence, a stat, through perseverance. Can I unlock other stats?

What does diligence do?

What uses does diligence have?

 

Where am I?

On earth? On some other planet where stats exists?

 

I 'm scared. I can only see these lines of text. I can only feel myself. Everything around me is empty. 

I'm not scared anymore though. There is a stronger feeling that opposes it.

 

I want to find the answers. I feel like they can only be found at the top. So I will keep climbing.

I am a bit excited. There are so many possibilities! I wonder if one day I'll be able to use magic. 

What kind of magic does a book use?
