Will: "So, after Luna died, what was that invisible thing that was trying to fly away? That thing that got stopped and trapped in the blue stone?
Thorn: "I'm not sure but it was not completely invisible. The mana went around it as if it was a solid, impenetrable object. A perfect sphere. When the lyre played the mana in the chains that brought the sphere back to the blue stone felt.. how to say it? It felt, kinda warm. Maybe it wanted to protect her soul. Will, do you think souls exist?"
Will: "Yes, definitely yes. In my master's memories...
Thorn: 'Master? Oh.. he means the ghost."
Will: ...there were some things like the sphere you describe. I could not see them but I could feel them. In this place surrounded by clouds where some crazy guy went just to get some water, I think I felt those ...souls moving around.
That place is on the eastern side of the continent. To reach it you have to take the ice elevator and then keep climbing. When you have climbed enough you will find a staircase of clouds. "The path of the Soul." Souls will traverse this staircase to get to a place outside the continent. The gods' realm.
As long as I won't forget her, my master will not arrive in the gods' realm. The same is true for the other souls. She still has things she wanted to do. If I am able to one day I will bring her back.
As the two were talking about this Book-san was making a staircase with a new skill he had just received from looking at the comments.
The staircase looked as if it was made of cards. Since the material of the cards was this sheet of solidified ink it appeared pretty light. Book-san was placing a new card on the staircase when a newly produced troop came out of the house in front of the group and went to stand next to the other troop.
As it passed near Book-san's staircase its armour touched one card and made the entire staircase fall on the group.
Book-san who was too busy placing the card to notice the troop screamed telepathically: "Enemy attack !! Enemy attack !!"
Will and Thorn peeped to the outside from below the cards before ascertaining that there was no enemy and come out.
In the remaining hours before the start of the trial while Will and Thorn rested Book-san learned to use his new abilities.
You received:
Skill(passive): The book reads in you from Shurturgal
Each time you defeat an opponent, you can read a part of his memory. Thus, you can steal a percentage of his current stats. The percentage stolen varies in function of the memory's importance.

After the countdown run out the third trial started.
Trial name: Conquest

To conquest a territory you need to move one of your troops inside the village/city governing it.
In this trial, there are clear enemies like the forces controlled by the archmage but also hidden enemies that Thorn, Will, Rose and Book-san had almost forgotten about.
I thought of some interesting items for Book-san!! ^^
