This is the chapter where you can submit your own character to be added into the story as a competitor in the tournament. I want you guys to be as freely creative with this as possible, but I want to set a few rules.
1. They have to fit a general "fantasy" theme, however I'm pretty loose with this. Both western-type fantasy and eastern-type fantasy works.
2. They can't be from another series or incorporate anything that isn't your original idea.
3. They have to be able to fight, but they can't be too OP.
Aside from that, anything goes. They don't have to be human - so you can submit monsters or fantasy races and such - and they can have whatever kind of weapons or powers you want. Feel free to submit characters from your own stories or characters you made for the Adventurer's Guild game on the forums.
Like the four I created, they'll be getting a chapter focused on them before I start making chapters that cover the tournament storyline. The outcome of each fight in the tournament will be decided by vote, and by the end one winner will stand above all others. If it ends up in a tie, I'll just flip a coin. This is a sixteen-person tournament, so there should end up being fifteen fights in total.
If you want to submit a character, comment on this chapter with the perfinent information about them. If you leave gaps, I'll just fill them in myself, but try to be complete and give me a good sense of the character. So, be descriptive unless you want me to flesh them out for you.
Alternatively, instead of submitting an actual character, you can just give an idea and name for one if you don't feel like putting a lot of detail into things. I can flesh it out from there myself if you do this. I'd prefer actual characters however.

This person used to be the Demon Lord, but as he was bored from always being challenged by Generic Isekai-Type Protagonists he had a sudden epiphany and became a hippy and opened a pharmacy that specializes in herbal remedies.
He uses chemical weapons to pile up debuffs onto his opponents and whacks them with his gigantic orichalcum bong, which he reforged from his sword. He also has some sort of sixth-sense that is more accurate the higher he is.
Appearance: he has a tie-dye beanie and a tie-dye T-shirt with a peace sign and the phrase "Peace out, dude". He has a double bandolier of little herb satchels. His bong has a leather strap on it so that he can wear it on his back. His eyes are pretty much always bloodshot. Basically he looks like a cross between a Hippy and a Guerilla.
Invitation: he never actually received a physical invitation. While he was high out of his mind he suddenly had the idea that he should go to where the tournament is being held.
Wish: He wants some super rare herbs to cultivate.

Name: Ezekiel 'Zeak' Regia
Age: 23
Bio: A secluded alchemist and artificer who lives in a lab in the woods. He discovered a beetle that could absorb the wild forces of elementals and render their wild forces inert. Using this discovery along with the note of his late grandfather he created the Sol Niger, A gauntlet that can absorb elemental energies and condense them into elemental crystals. These crystals, when equipped inside the gauntlet, allow the wielder to harness the disastrous energies of elementals. This power put him at odds with the government, who sought to weaponize his discovery. Through a long battle and much tribulation, he absorbed an Elemental God and defeated the ruling class, but at the cost of his country falling to ruin. He wanders the country, helping people with the power of the gauntlet while searching for unique elementals to tame.
Abilities: While Zeak is very capable with a sword, he prefers to use his quick wit and overwhelming elemental power to crush his opponents. He specializes in unconventional uses of conventional energies. His understanding of the world down to it's internal energies grants him quick understanding of any energies used against him. The Sol Niger has a chamber of elemental stones that can be equipped one at a time and grants Zeak immunity to that element and mastery of it's forces. Current list of elemental stones are: Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Darkness, Sun, Storm, Chaos, Void, and Electricity. The Elemental God absorption, along with granting Zeak increased strength and speed, granted the Sol Niger indestructibility, so its bulky size can be used as a shield if Zeak cant get up a rock wall or other defensive elemental formation up in time.
Appearance: Zeak is forgettable at first sight. He is 5' 10" with shaggy, unkempt, brown hair and blue eyes. He is handsome if he would actually care about his appearance a little. He is caring and prone to help strangers, but also tends to be a bit mischievous, preferring to leave those who he helps wondering who it was who actually helped them. He wears a forest green dyed leather jacket which is missing it's left sleeve to make way for the Sol Niger. He wears plain brown pants and tall leather boots with metal knee guards. He has a mythril short sword left by his father strapped to his side.
The Sol Niger is a gauntlet shaped out of the carapace of a large beetle. It is attached to Zeak's left arm and runs fron just over his fist to four inches past his elbow. On the top by his fist is the Aether Orb, which absorbs and condenses elemental energies. magic circuitry leads the energies to the next piece, the Faux-rubedo, a smaller white orb which purifies the energies. Then the energies dispense into an Aether crystal where they are condensed into an elemental crystal. The crystals are stored in a hopper just below the elbow that functions like a revolver's chamber. How they got their invitation: Zeak heard rumors of the tournament and the mystic prize of a wish. While searching for a way to enter, he stumbled upon a local crime lord who had received an invitation. He proceeded to relieve the crime lord of the invitation, his position, and most of his gang. He then entered in hopes of winning the prize to rewriting past wrongs.
Their wish?: Access to a Time Elemental to absorb. With the time elemental, Zeak can restore his country, his family, and save many who would have been lost along the way.

Age: 19
Bio: Scion is a changeling. A race of shapeshifters who kill other humanoids to live comfortable lives and reproduce. Most of her kind prefer to sneakily replace people until they get caught. On the other hand, Scion enjoys burning through one identity after another. She's hated by other changelings due to her violent, unsubtle nature.
She is very open about being a monster and loves showing off her abilities. Even when it causes people to chase her out of town. Scion prefers to get as much fun out of a new identity as quickly as possible; often taking the appearance of men because she prefers the company of other women.
Abilities: Unlike other changelings, who can only shift their appearance to look like other humanoids, Scion has complete control over her morphic body. She is able to grow additional appendages/limbs, shift her anatomy that of beasts to use as weapons, quickly regrow lost limbs and even move her organs around to avoid otherwise fatal or debilitating injuries. While very resistant to physical injury she is vulnerable to fire.
Appearance: When not imitating another person Scion looks like a teenage girl with sickly white skin and solid black eyes. Her hair tends to vary a lot depending on her mood, but is naturally gray.
How they got their invitation: She had killed a snobby young nobleman, planning to throw his status and money around for kicks. The invitation was among his personal belongings. Always up for a fight she thought the tournament sounded fun.
Their wish?: Due to her capricious nature Scion hasn't really nailed down any particular wish. It might be to marry a pretty princess one minute or eat a dragon egg the next.

She can use her tail to restrain her target and can also use a baw with cursed arrows. Her shadow can assassinate her enemy shadow, making it deseaper and its owner suffer continuous damages.

However she's capable of using her magic for lethal attacks quite easily, with a rather high mana she can create fire anywhere she wants.
