Lillys’ eyes shot open and she was in Danielle's old room and she was significantly younger and wearing an old outfit of hers and the room was full of light but the lights vanished and soon the only light was from under the door which became blocked by a shadow when the door opened Lilly saw the shadows of her parents standing there 

“ Again with this gay shit!” her old father yelled.

“Dad I-I-I'm sorry please,” Lilly said pleadingly as she fell on the floor and curled into a ball

“Sweetie we care about you and only do this because it's what's best for you.” her old mother said as her father walked towards her with his belt already off, but Lilly soon remembered what that she needed to fight this that it was HER dream and she was in control. She stood up no longer in her Joey form but in Lilly form and stood up. “Enough! I am not your child anymore, you have no power over me.” Lilly said firmly causing her old father to be taken aback.

“Little brat, I am your father and you will obey me!” he said angrily before swinging the belt at her but before he could hit her she threw him against the wall. Her mom just stared at her before getting a grin full of malice “You little bitch!” she said before throwing Lilly against a wall causing her to have a shocked expression on her face “yo-yo-you aren’t a dream?” Lilly said scared to death.

“No of course not, I’m as real as can be and you’ve been a bad kid.” She said before shocking Lilly with lightning 

“Ahhhhhh!” Lilly cried out in a shriek of pain

“It's a shame, you were such a handsome young man and now look at you one of THEM,” she said with venom in her voice when she said them. Lilly began sobbing as her mom shocked her and laughed at the pain. As she was sobbing she was shaken awake by her mom  

“Sweetie are you okay? You were screaming and crying.” 

“Th-th-they weren’t dreams, they were actually there!” Lilly said between sobs 

“Who? Your old parents that really shouldn’t be possible.” her mom said trying to calm her down.

“ It was them, they attacked me and hurt me,” Lilly said hugging her mom 

“Oh sweetie I'm sorry, I had no idea they would be able to do that but I can have something made buy on of the other sisterhood members to keep them out,” her mother said 

“Even Todd?” Lilly asked.

“I will try but I don’t think it’s really possible for magic to get rid of trauma, honestly magic can’t be an end-all to fix everything, somethings you gotta fix things yourself.” her mom explained in a caring way.

“But why not! I want to forget about Todd and if magic can help with that then why won’t you let it be used!” Lilly said angrily causing her mom to be startled 

“Dear just listen it’s about growing as a person, magic can’t be used to fix and do everything, I’m sorry,” her mom said lovingly trying to calm her daughter “Honey, it's okay I know it's awful what he did to you and you’ll get through this, but magic isn’t the answer. “ her mom said comfortingly.

“I’m gonna try and get some sleep if that's okay mom,” Lilly said. 

“Okay sweetie, if you need me I’ll be in my room.” her mom said sweetly

“Okay mom, oh and I’m sorry that I blew up on you,” Lilly said 

“It’s okay sweetie good night,” her mom said shutting off the light. 

Lilly tried to sleep that night; however, she didn’t sleep after that and just stared at the ceiling.

Meanwhile, at Lilly's old house her old parents were reviewing what to do next

“She caught on a lot sooner than expected,” her old father said icing his back.

“Yes she did, it’s a sign that she is powerful indeed and will do the job of breaking the seal better than expected,” Her mother said.

“Yeah but now she knows we can be there and that means they will block us out,” her old dad said 

“No matter she has been traumatized even further and that means that the timetable can be accelerated or at the very least she will break more than originally intended.” Her old mother said.

Lilly tiredly pulled herself out of her bed and pulled on sweats again and walked down to the dining room “Hey sweetie you want me to drive you to school?” her mom asked 

“Sure I guess,” Lilly said monotonously.

“Everything okay sweetie?” her mom asked 

“Huh? Oh yeah just tired is all, didn’t get much sleep after my nightmare, the thought of Todd showing up scared me is all” Lilly replied sleepily 

“I’m sorry baby, you shouldn’t lose sleep because of that asshole” Hey mom said. Hugging her

“I’ll talk to the sisterhood about getting you something to mitigate the presence of Todd, but no promises,” her mom said caringly.

“Thanks, mom I appreciate it,” Lilly said before turning to leave with her mom for school.

“Lilly are you okay? You look exhausted.” Abby said.

“Just didn’t get much sleep last night, I’ll be fine” Lilly replied yawning. 

“Another nightmare? How did the appointment go yesterday” Abby asked 

“It was okay nothing major or anything just the first session,” Lilly said. 

“I’m here for you if you need me you know that right?” Abby said lovingly 

“Thanks, Abbs I really do appreciate it,” Lilly said with a smile.

The day seemed to drag on forever for Lilly who forced herself to stay awake through all of her classes and the day came to an end. On the way home, Lilly’s mom stopped at a friends house and walked up to the door and quickly can back with a box

“This should be able to help with your parents invading your mind and my friend was able to weave a spell into that will keep the trama at bay at least when you are sleeping, when we get home I want you to go straight to bed because you need to get some rest.” her mom instructed

“What about homework? I can’t miss an assignment.” Lilly said worriedly,

“Dear your health is far more important than homework, I just want to make sure you’re okay.” her mom replied.

“Okay, mom” Lilly replied sleepily. They arrived home and Lilly took the dream catcher her mom got her and put it above her bed and drifted off to sleep and didn’t awaken till the next morning where she woke up before her alarm went off and she was well-rested, she decided to wear jeans and a hoodie with converse she walked down to meet her mom in the kitchen 

“Hi sweetie you look well-rested, I’m guessing that the dreamcatcher worked?” her mom asked happily 

“Yep, I actually feel well-rested now,” Lilly said happily 

“Good, however, I think you should stay home a few days,” her mom asked 

“Huh, why?” Lilly said confused.

“Because I think it will be good for you to relax and clear your head, I’ll bring your homework home for you.” her mom said 

“Mom, I’m fine to trust me I feel better than I did the past few days” Lilly replied.

“Okay, sweetie I just want you to be safe and okay. If you say you are fine I trust your judgment” her mom replied.
