A week had passed since Emilia transmigrated into this world.
It was very late at night, but before Alphonso went back to his room, he brought Emilia some tea he had brewed himself. The tea was made specifically from Lumindal leaves, known for their ability to lessen the effects of a woman's great aunt[¹].
Emilia thanked Alphonso, and her butler finally took his leave.
She lay down on her bed and stared blankly at the ceiling, lost in thought.
The academy's entrance ceremony is coming up in a week—a fated meeting between the transmigrator and the protagonist.
Emilia knew this very well, so she had to decide how she should introduce herself to the protagonist.
"Hey Author, what type of person is the protagonist anyway?" Emilia muttered to herself as she took a sip of her tea.
[Hm? Well, he's very kind-hearted and helps anyone who isn't a bad person, but he takes pride in his capabilities. He's very nonchalant, but once he becomes angered, he'll beat anyone up. If you become buddies with him, though, he'll gradually open up to you. He's funny, he's charming, he's—]
"I get it, I get it. So he's a cliché anime protagonist. Got it," Emilia interrupted the Author's voice.
[Okay, so, what are you gonna do to grab his attention then? Are you gonna seduce him?]
"Seduce? Stop it. I'm not doing anything like that. I already have a plan in mind," Emilia scoffed, rolling her eyes as she finished the tea her butler had given her.
[Then what's the plan, captain?]
"Well, it's pretty simple, actually. If I want to grab his attention, then I might as well go all out with my introduction. I'm going to summon three 3rd Tier Rocs to create a superficial conflict when the ceremony happens. And once that happens, I'll just so happen to 'save the day' and eliminate those monsters," Emilia said arrogantly, patting her chest.
[I see. But what if they trace the mana to you?]
"They wouldn't. I'm in the process of creating three summoning circle scrolls that will disappear once used. The probability of them tracing the mana back to me is less than 0%," Emilia smirked with a prideful tone in her voice.
[I see. Then don't fail, alright? Make this interesting for me.]
"Mhm. Anyway, I'll hit the hay for now. Talk to you later, Author," she yawned while tucking herself into bed.
[Alright. Good night.]
Emilia turned off the night lamp beside her and fell asleep.
…
The next day.
Alphonso barged into his master's room, shouting, "Lady Emilia, wake up! I've just received a letter from one of your relatives!"
Emilia, still half-asleep, was woken up by her butler's voice.
"Mmm... Just read it for me, will you..." she mumbled, still lying in bed.
Alphonso approached her and read the letter out loud.
"My little dearest, it has been a while since we have met. I want to congratulate you personally for passing the entrance exams of St. Freibürg Academy. Your aunt will be visiting you tomorrow. See you soon!
— Agartha M."
Emilia was shocked, and not in a good way.
"One of my relatives will be visiting me tomorrow...!? How the hell will I be able to keep my act and facade up..." she silently thought to herself.
