Skill Book(Advanced movement) - long jump(over 10m) 0/10 - high jump(over 3m) 0/10 - run 5k in under 10 min 0/1
Skill Book(Weapon Enhancement) - Infuse magic energy into a weapon for 5 minutes
As I looked over the requirements to unlock the 5 skills I got from skill books, I think about a lot of them.
Most of them are just using the skill for a period of time, something that I am going to need to figure out.
The ones needed for the advanced movement skill seem to just be a few exercises. All of them were definitely for an awakened. All of them were better than the last world records recorded for each category, before the first outbreak.
After the first outbreak, things like sports and the like kinda fell out of practice. Nowadays, everything surrounds hunters, so new competitions or sport like activities took their place.
Outside of that one, the endurance requirements seem to be the most easy, being just a ten minute fight. The only problem is going to be finding something to fight for ten minutes that I can’t just kill. If I had read the book before fighting the angel, that would have been great.
BUt hindsight is 20-20 so.
The others are a kind of big issue, since I have no clue how to do most of it. I can always ask Aria and Anthem to help me with them, or at least a few of them. Strangely, I don’t think I have ever seen them use magic outside of their main elements, darkness and light magic. BUt at least they have their own sword aura.
Now, what the heck counts as a fast moving object.

Thanks to the training area’s at the association headquarters I was able to get through the requirements for Advance movement quickly.
In only about 1 hour I finished all of them.
Advanced Movement Lv.1 Obtained!
I had come to the association with Aria and Anthem, pretty late in the day, and they were watching me while I worked on this one. When I was done, I walked back over to them.
“Are you done with the first one?” Aria asked me.
“Yeah, I was hoping to move to the next one now” I told them.
“And that would be either the weapon enhancement, or the endurance one, right?” Anthem asked.
“Well, I think we might be able to do them at the same time, if I can figure out the weapon enhancement during the fight” I say.
“Are you sure?” Aria asked.
“Yaeh, but please, take it easy on me” I said.
“Of course” Aria says.
With that, we both move onto a training area. We both pull out weapons, and get ready to duel.
“Computer, start a ten minute duel” Aria said. After, above the both of us, a timer was displayed. And with a countdown, the duel begins.
Right off the bat, Aria rushes towards me at high speed, far beyond what I could do.
I was able to follow her, and was able to block quickly. I had changed my equipment to the speed cloak, which helped with this, since it increased my reaction speed.
But it also shows that Aria is much faster than the angel was.
She continues her onslaught against me, leaving no room for me to move against her.
Thanks to my new skill though, I am able to doge a lot better than I did against the angel.
Aria keeps attacking me, while I try to figure out how to infuse energy into my own sword.
She continues to attack for a long time, and about halfway through the fight, I get a few notifications.
Strength Boost Has Leveled Up!
Visual Awareness Lv.1 was Obtained!
With this, I feel a little more strength, but I am also able to follow Aria a little better. Turns out that Aria counted as a high speed object.
I continue to fight against Aria, but for the rest of the duel, nothing else happens.
And right when the clock hits 0, Aria stops and I nearly collapse again.
And another message pops up.
Endurance Lv.1 was Obtained!
And suddenly that exhaustion leaves me. Endurance was an interesting skill. I felt like I could continue to fight for a while.
“Are you ok?” Aria asked me, after our duel ended.
“I’m fine, and I finished two of the skills” I told her.
“Oh, How, you didn’t figure out weapon enhancement. Which other one did you get?”
“Since you were moving so fast, I was able to get visual awareness”
“That's great, now its just the two magic based ones right?” she asked.
“Yeah, and I don’t know where to start with them” I say.
“I think your best bet is to just try, and you don’t need to practice with us for them” she says, as we start to head back over to Anthem.
“Did everything go ok?” He asked, even though he was watching the whole time.
“Yeah, but I still need to work on figuring out a few of them” I say. “But those are the ones that require me to manipulate magic power”
“Well, you’ll get them in time. Just have to practice” he tells me.
“Yeah, I can do this” I say.
“Well, if that was it for the day, we should go do something” Aria said. “Give mom and dad a chance to have a date tonight”.
“Yeah, sure” Anthem said. “I'll find a place, you text them we can handle dinner tonight, and they should go out” He seemed pretty excited about us going out. We had been staying home most nights recently, and he probably wants to eat somewhere else tonight.
“Great”
And in all of their excitement, I don’t think they realized I had something else to do while we were here.
When they finally looked back at me I spoke up.
“I actually need to fill out the rank up paperwork for rank D”
