Now glaring at Calamity who's chuckling, I think about my horrible circumstances.

'Why does this have to happen now? I have yet to eat anything since I've gotten to this world and have very little energy to even stand much less run. I don't have any attacking skills or magic either. Is there anything else around that could stop this thing.'

The creature paces back and forth on the bank, determined to catch me. Trembling and shivering, staring into each other eyes, I'm no longer able to tell if I'm shaking from the cold water or fear of potential death that may come upon me at any moment now.

Hopefully some info might tell me something that could either defeat it or deter it away.

[Fire Jaded Tigon- Despite its name the only jade this creature has is its bone structure that developed from eating jade while growing. It is a spirit mammal that prefers being alone and it only hunts animals that stray from their pack or prey on small groups in hopes of getting the weakest link. It prefers the meat of Balba and occasional Tanto fish, but will hunt other creatures if its food is running low. Due to how much jade this Tigon has eaten it has acquired earth magic.

'Dang...... I'm slightly regretting not taming that snake. Calamity, what if I make a [random wish] to shew the tiger away. You said that if I make it vague the wish should be granted, right?'

Calamity stare at me like I'm an idiot, 'I said if you make the wish vague you'll  likely have a better result than a specific wish, but there's  consequences to wishes. Who's to say what your wish might bring won't be a worst enemy or threat....  However, I agree that at this point you need to do something or you'll be tigon food. Wishing may be your only choice..... how about wishing for a creature that's a bigger threat than the Balba, but is a herbivore. Making it that specific shouldn't hurt you in terms of luck. Especially since your in a place that should already have herbivores anyway, but let's hope you don't get something too territorial or in a bad temper. You're in enough trouble as it is for not taking the easier route. Had you simply tame the Blue Vine Cobra when you had the chance you could've avoided this predicament.' Calamity remarks snarkily. 'Oh and unlike regular skills and magic you will have to speak out loud your wish until it gets to level 5.'

While we've been talking I've tried going to the opposite bank, but the tiger just jumps over, continuing yo pursue me. I've managed to activate my camouflage, but moving too much attracts the tiger and it catch up with ease.

"Gosh darn it! I wish a ginormous powerful herbivore creature would appear!" I yell, hoping whatever shows up won't be worse than what is currently hunting me.

As the words left my lips, the sand shakes and splits apart. What appears was a cross between a hippo and elephant with golden skin, slowly ascending from beneath the tiger, sand and stones cascade from on top to the side. The tiger, astonished, leaps fearfully to the opposite bank, growls at the new creature before bounding off into red bushes, then into the depths of the jungle.

Calamity's eye opens wide, "Ohhh.... your wish brought up a Golden Sand Hiphon. Although they do eat meat, it's mostly fish. Everything else they consume are of the fruits and leaves variety. Your actually lucky since it might've been in the area and didn't tax your karma, but I suggest you run before the Fire Jaded Tigon decides to come back and takes chances at fighting it."

That's exactly what I did. As fast as I could run, I quickly got onto the bank of the stream. With sand, sweat, and my cold wet clothes still sticking to me, I muster what little energy I had and run in the direction of my camp or at least I try until I hear loud thumps from behind and turn back to see the hippo/elephant following me in huge steps.

'Um, Calamity is this thing following me for any reason? I don't have any fish and most of my leaves are back in camp or in my chaos space.'

Calamity sees the Golden Sand Hiphon following ponders, ' Hmmmm, the only thing I can think of is that it's interested in whatever it can see or smell on you. But as you've been in the water, the only smell still on you might be the Blue Vine Cobra since you grabbed it bare handed. The Blue Vine Cobras scent is very strong to ward off potential rivals or attract mates and doesn't wash off easily. Whatever you do, just don't make it angry. Also, just letting you know, it's imperative you make it back to camp as soon as possible.'

'Wait, why is it important I make it back to camp? Is there something you're not telling me?'

'..... If you remember correctly the Balba hunts in groups. Most likely its herd will investigate what happened to their missing number in larger quantities. Now that the Fire Jaded Tigon has run, you'll be second on their list to follow if they see you. I don't think you want to stick around to find out what they do to outsiders in their territory.'

Hearing that I put more energy to my steps, gun it. After a long trek back, almost tripping several times and losing strength in my knees at weird intervals, I finally get to camp. I could've shouted for joy at the fact of seeing my wooden tent, until I remembered the hippo/elephant following behind me. However, the hippo/elephant passes me, goes near the trees where the snake is, and pulls it along with leaves and fruit down to the ground into a huge piled heap. Taking the snake from the pile, slaps it hard against the ground several times until it finally fainted . The hippo/elephant then starts to take fruit and leaves from the snakes nest with its wide oddly shaped trunk, proceeds consume it in its tusk like mouth. The only fruit and leaves not touched, are the Gandua that's already half rotted on the ground, and my half made leaf sap container that's still on the flat rock. After almost eating the snakes tree bare, the hippo/elephant turns and walks slowly towards me. I, being too stunned to move during the entire process, only realize the creature about to touch me with its trunk when it got right in front of me. My eyes widen in horror as I have seen what it did to that snake. I wince, but as the Hippo/elephants trunk pats my head, I hear a notification.

While Tokito was stunned Calamity saw to update his status. Isn't it such a good step parent?
