Dokloram doesn’t answer your last statement about extracting information from Rogzor. By the expression on his face, you assume he’s trying to figure out if you’re joking or not.
“Fig!” You hear a familiar female voice from behind you. Turning your “gaze” you see Petunia and Gilk approaching. The young goblin is carrying a patched-up sack, thrown over his shoulder. Petunia rushes to Fig and falls to her knees next to him. “Are you alright? What happened?”
“Oh, it’s nothing serious,” Fig smiles. “Got a little carried away while training. It’s my fault really.”
Dokloram averts his eyes.
/Gilk, could you put that down and come over here?/ you beam your throughs into the young goblin’s mind.
Gilk walks over to you and drops the sack, that opens and reveals it’s contents which mostly consist of potatoes, corn, and peas.
/Pick me up and bring me to the edge of the hill. I want to take a proper look around./
“A-Alright,” Gilk pick you up from the ground, holding you as if you could break apart at any moment from a single step.
You promptly use this diversion to open up your stats bar and sneak a peek at your compatibility with Gilk.

Oh, barely a step behind Fig.
/Alright, take me back./
“Huh? But we’re not even at the edge yet!”
/I’ve already seen enough from here./
Which is kind of true. Unfortunately, there is nothing in all four directions that you haven’t already seen—darkness, ash, hills, mountains, and farm fields in the distance.
/Where the hell do you get water from?/
“Mostly wells,” the goblin answers. “They’re spread out here and there. And the fields are centered around them. The rainwater is… drinkable. But the taste is foul”
/Good thing I don’t drink water anymore. Petunia!/
“Ah!?” Petunia jumps up and looks around. When she sees you approaching in Gilk’s hands, she realizes that it is your voice she heard.
/Take me from Gilk’s hands./
“Eh? Why?” Petunia asks, puts a finger to her chin and tilts her head slightly.
/I want you to feel the weight of a proper sword in your hands. Not those glorified toothpicks that Dokloram and Gilk carry around for wargs to use after the meal.”
“Hey!” Gilk shouts at you, holding your hilt with both your hands.
/You swords suck and you know it! Don’t get all defensive about it. Not hand me to Petunia!/
The young goblin sighs but hands you over.
Petunia takes you in her hands. She grips your hilt tightly and holds you up, looking at you with great curiosity. Then both you and Petunia realize that you’re way to heavy for her and she topples backward. Before she falls and lets go of you, you hurriedly jump to your status and pop open your wielder’s tab.

/Woah!/
“Ah!” Petunia yells out and lands on her butt. You fall out of her hands and klank against the rocks.
“Petunia!” Fig screams, jumps up, and runs to his girlfriend. “Are you alright? Did something happen?”
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” the goblin girl says with a smile. “Just lost my balance, haha!”
/Alright, that’s enough!/ you beam your harsh tones into all four of the goblins’ heads. /Eat up, we’ve got work to do!/
“Speaking of which, why did you want me here?” Petunia asks. “Gilk, told me next to nothing.”
/You’ll be training with us Petunia./
“Huh?” Petunia tilts her head.

I came here for the poll-based 2nd person story, and will not read it if that is taken away. Votes: 11 5.8%
-
The polls can be rarer, but I still want some choices. Votes: 99 51.8%
-
I don't care whether this story has poll based choices or not. Votes: 65 34.0%

I would prefer this story to not be 2nd person or with poll-based choices. Votes: 16 8.4%
I would prefer fewer polls and for major choices and what you as the writer feels is important to have a poll on.
Not every chapter needs a choice. If the leaf has any wind of inspirstion blowing it in a certain direction, one that will also gift with the succulent chapter length, then I will blow as well and join in the wind! But I'm gonna be blowing the leaf a bit askew Xd
At least if the leaf isn't made of iron and magnetized stubbornly in a single direction. I still want a choice here or there for amusement
thanks for the chapter
Thanks for the chapter
The polls are a very unique and interesting touch to the story.
The idea of having a highly interactive 2nd-person story is not used much, and I would consider the story to be missing a somewhat important part of being 2nd-person if there was no polls.
Next chappy....?
Petunia next wielder!
Lol, nobody really cares about the polls
Figured
what did you figure? :)
@YuujiEveryleaf that she would have the highest compatibility
the fact that we can make some choices is enough for me like deciding if we want to kill someone or not being left to us feels great but it would be better if they are rarer because if there is to many polls you have to sometimes wait for a result from it to contunie the story if it's important ofcourse.
alright, I kind of figured some would like to keep the major decisions.
The downside of course to those major decisions is if the decision that wins is not the one that you wanted. You'd still be fine with that?
What if you have to choose between which of your favorite characters to save and the winning choice is not the one that you wanted? :)
@YuujiEveryleaf i would be fine, i have seen to many novels where my favorite chracter dies, i just choose the main character as my favorite but ofc it's diffirent for other people, majority wins no need to bother with it
@StarEis ok. I'm just talking from past experience
Thank you for the feedback. Will take it into consideration :)
@YuujiEveryleaf well, if sh*t go too badly, blame the author, always works!
@StarEis ah, the tried and true, I see
