Daniel could feel his own heart beating against his chest in the silence. As unbearable as the air around him was, his own mind was also in a rough place.

He had really done it.

Though not directly, he had just confess to the man who he had forgotten about for so long. Now, thinking about it, wasn't this some kind of jerk move a person would pull after his heart gets broken?

But Daniel knew that he was definitely not lingering from the aftershocks of what happened between Avian and him. No.

What mattered now was Andy. That was the person who Daniel should've been with, the one who Daniel should've loved instead of Avian.

No! What was he even thinking about?

Daniel couldn't just blame someone else, because this was his fault. It was his fault, and he wasn't going to hide from it. It was his fault, and as a decent human being, he had to stick up for his mistakes.

Daniel stopped the car, having arrived at his house. Turning his eyes towards Andy, he began speaking, almost as if he had wrote a presentation beforehand.

"I know that everything I have done to you, though I may not have known back then, it doesn't make anything better. I know that it would be practically impossible for you to just jump in on this train ride with me and forget the past. What they have done to you, what Rose and Avian have done to you, I know that you can never go back and erase those scars. But, just a little, I hope that in the future, I will be there to help you later on."

"I know that I seem like this person who just wants to hurt you even more, heck, I'm positive that I am talking like one. Andy, it seems impossible, but will you let me stay by you." Daniel held his breath, his eyes looking at Andy's with pure emotions, his eyes even seemed to be breaking down the barriers within Andy's heart.

"I-" Andy opened up his mouth, his eyelids fluttering, shaking as his face slowly dropped its cold light.

Daniel felt like his heart would really jump out of his chest the next moment. No, he was positive that it would. He clenched his fist, his fingers turning white, and he gritted his teeth.

This was nerve wrecking for both him and Andy.

The air surrounding them seemed to freeze in the air. A silence that seemed almost impenetrable, and tension rose within the air.

Andy wanted to answer right away, but something about Daniel's expression made him want to tease him for a bit longer. In all honesty, Daniel's words really did touch his heart. After all, for someone who has never experienced love in his old world, this was rare.

If the world hadn't put its hand between Daniel and the original soul, he was almost sure that they would've gotten together sooner or later. Judging by Daniel's character, if he was in love with somebody, he would do whatever it took to be with that person. If that person didn't love him, even then he would still continue to love the other person.

Daniel was like Bai Mengxiang. Expect, while Bai Mengxiang was truly a fool in love, Daniel's love slowly corroded away. Well, truthfully said, if Avian hadn't broken it up, Daniel might've still be doing whatever it took to hold onto their relationship.

But for Andy.....whether it be in this world or the next, he didn't believe that someone like him would ever fall in love.

From the moment he was born, his well-being was never the priority. No, it was spent on getting the best grades, being in many sports, and being the spotlight. If he wasn't doing those things, he was getting tutored, or getting extra lessons on the piano, violin, and painting.

His parents weren't the classic rich people who wanted their kids to succeed them. No, they weren't rich, but they did have more than average.

As for why they pressured him so much, it was because they cared about their face. They wanted and very much, liked to brag about Andy to their friends and family. To do this, they sacrificed Andy's childhood by forcing him to partake in everything that he didn't like.

But, when Andy's little sister was born, it got even worse. While Andy was stuck being the busy person who was mentally abused, his younger sister was born having not to worry about those things. His parents spoiled her, thus, she became a brat as she grew up.

His younger sister got into fights and was a bully. Andy's parents supported her.

The aftermaths of whatever she did, Andy had to clean up. Not to mention his already busy life, he also had to take care of his sister who was a teenager, yet acted worse than a five year old would.

It was alright, up until Andy had turned 18, already getting ready to go to university.

His sister, 15 at that time, had stolen a diamond necklace from a store. The necklace had cost an astonishing 2,890,000.

When the police officers and detectives had come to their house, searching the house and finding the necklace, Andy's sister accused him. Not falling behind even one second, Andy's parents also blamed him.

As a person who was treated resentfully, given no love, and treated like a puppet, being accused by the people who should've helped him, Andy gave up all hopes on his family, something that he should've done years ago.

Taken into the police station that night, Andy didn't say a word, only sitting ever so quietly as the handcuffs wrapped around his wrists. Luckily, his fingerprints were not found on the necklace but his sisters, thus, she was sent to the police instead.

Because she was underage, even though she couldn't be put into prison, it was put into her records, and she had to pay a fine of over 100,000 for stealing. Andy's parents though, were put into prison for accusing an innocent person, and covering the person who had done so.

Andy was then released, packing all his belongings and moved in with a good friend of his.

Andy didn't go to university, instead, he used that time to begin his company. Though he didn't have much money, his friends were a different deal. His friends helped him out as much as they could, and by the age of 21, his company finally began flourishing.

Andy never contacted his parents, even when they were finally released from prison. He also never contacted his sister. When they were released, they did try making trouble for him, but upon realizing who Andy was now, they didn't do anything for fear of being silenced forever.

At the age of 23, his company had become a top company. Because of his parents, Andy was smart and talented, but, he had a character that made him hard to figure out. Though playful at times, he was a player who could turn cold and murderous in the next second.

And, since Andy didn't know how to love, long term relationships didn't work out for him. Even if the other side loved him, Andy didn't and got bored of them easily.

How can you love when you have never received it in your early years?

Andy was never taught to love, he didn't know what it was, and he didn't believe in it. So, he couldn't love.

And, well, after that, four years later, he would later die by choking on water, which in his opinion, wasn't the most pathetic way to die.

Imagine eating expired cake or slipping on soap while in the shower, or dying while you did the dirty. That, was the most pathetic and saddest way to die.

Paying his attention back onto Daniel's awaiting stare, Andy out in a very small smile that could have lighted up the whole world.

"Alright," Andy seemed like a different person now. Though a cold aura was still coming from him, the warm light in his eyes were sparkling, especially the heartwarming yet tiny smile that lingered on his lips.

Daniel felt his whole being freeze as he looked at Andy. He was smiling. He was smiling. The light in his eyes, they had an impact on Daniel, so much so that he couldn't even explain it.

Daniel could also feel his own eyes lighting up. His expression was filled with ecstasy, and Andy wanted to burst into laughter upon seeing it.

[Male Lead's love percentage has hit 92%.]

[Warning sent out. From now on, it is also possible for male lead's love percentage to also decrease, and fall into the negative zone. If the host fails to get it out of the negative, or dies before getting the love percentage to reach 100%, the host will be put into a separate world, split from the system and will have to stay in that world and succeed the mission first. In that world, it is possible for there to be other transmigrators. The plot will not be given about that world, but the host will be provided with the memories of the body you take over. Best of luck, to all the hosts.]

Andy was definitely stunned. But, a little challenge was definitely something fun and exciting. Well, to be fair, Andy knew that he wasn't going to fail his missions. After all, stealing people's heart, it was such an easy task to do.

Andy could feel his heart feeble in delight.

Bring it on, world.

"Brother, no matter what he has done, I will always side with him. From the moment I met him, I had already set my heart on following him."

"Longwang, why are you so foolish? Our parents are gone, as an older brother, I have to take care of you. Yet, for one person, someone who doesn't even love you, you are willing to go against the whole world?"

"Get away from me! Don't speak to me! He lied to me, he told me that he loved only me, and yet, he is getting married. Married to someone who isn't me! Longwang, you don't understand the pain within my heart."

"A thousand pains in return for your safety, it is something that I would never hesitate to exchange."

"Baicheng, because of you, my brother lies within an endless dream unable to be awakened. If you hadn't played with Qianchi's heart, my brother would still be alive! If it weren't for you and your lies, I wouldn't have lost my brother, the only family I had left in this world. Even at the cost of my life, I will make sure that you can never rise within this cultivation world."
