Beam's POV

I woke up feeling something comfty around my neck. I open my eyes slowly and I saw my brother sleeping soundly. His arm is extended around my neck.  

Hah! This damn buffalo. 

"Hey! Wake Up! I'm still upset." I pushed him.

"Good Morning baby brother."

"My morning is still not good"

"Don't get mad at P' na."

"hmm."

My elder brother is P'Thara. He is five years older than me. He is currently working as a medical doctor in our grandfather's hospital.

He sits leaning his back on the headboard. I sit too.

"P' was not able to call baby Beam because of  work"

"You don't have a baby Beam anymore!" I retorted.

He looks upset. Then, he hugged me.

"I was on a sudden trip overseas. I just landed yesterday. It was a confidential trip. I cant sneak away to use my phone. I really wanted to call you. P is really sorry. P is really worried about you" He sadly stated. "But, I can't"

"Whatever. You don't need to worry about me anymore. I learned to depend on my self alone." I sarcastically replied while pushing him.

"Beam," He asks me pitifully. I almost give in but I'm still upset.

"I'm just sad. I'm upset. I never thought you will leave me, but, you did. I'm afraid of being alone, P'" I said exaggerating a bit so he will feel guilty.

"Come here" he pulled me back to his embrace. "P' will never do that again. Forgive P' na"

I lean my head on his shoulders. I didn't cry. I just deeply sighed and stay like that for like 10 minutes. I visited the hospital 2 days after I can't reach him. I only spoke to his clinic's secretary saying that P' is on an overseas trip. If I really wanted to, I can ask grandpa. But, I reject the idea. If he knows I'm in the hospital. He won't let go of me easily. I also don't want to disturbed my mom. I don't know if she's okay now after all that she had been through.

"Okay" I give in."But I'm still upset"

"Thank you, baby Beam. You know I loved you, right?"

"I know, I loved P' too."

Just like that, we reconciled.
