The elven king sighed and looked to his wife, she shook her head seemed to be saying : "We can't afford to get in-between these guys when they're in this mood, we'll get swept into their rhythm instantly... let them vent for a while before wrapping things up."

Zae'nor smiled helplessly and kept his mouth shut, he listened to his seniors argue for about thirty minutes before deciding that he had enough.

"Enough!" Judging by his tone of voice, the elven-king was really annoyed.

Ela'nor : "Seniors. The human kid is already wounded and is in no condition to help us right now, we hope that you'll assist us with all your power once the boy is healed." The elven queen said once she noticed signs of some of these old elves being displeased at the king for interrupting their conversation.

"Mela." Zae'nor called his daughter and the princess took a step forward to stand next to him while saying : "Yes my king. This loyal daughter is here."

The man nodded and said : "You're to go help Odla'nor. Assist her and supervise Mu Jianhong's disciple, do everything to help her heal him quickly but never take your eyes of the boy."

"No!" The graceful woman suddenly shouted this word with a panicked tone of voice while thinking : 'This is bad! Little Mela would be snatched away by that human if she's spends time with him.'

Mela'nor : "Mother!" The princess was so agitated that she forgot to address  her mother by her formal name.

Ela'nor : "You're to stay away from that human kid, it's not... safe!" The beauty blushed slightly at the end and the audience were charmed by her expression.

Milo'nor : "Then I'll go with her, me and that boy still have unfinished business." The young-prince said while thinking : 'Now I can take advantage of him being wounded and bully him however I want. Kekeke... I'm so bad.'

Zae'nor : "I agree. little-Milo is carrying the sun-bow and Mela is carrying the moon-bow, if both of them work together then they're more than capable of stopping that human from crossing any line." Seeing that his wife still seems to be worried despite hearing what he just said, the elven king prevented her from saying more by raising a hand then after a short pause he continued to say : "Ode'gar and Orime'sac would make sure to keep them safe, let that be their opportunity to redeem themselves after what happened last time."

The princess and her brother seemed pleased, their mother on the other hand was squinting her eyes while looking at her husband... the expression of the elven queen pouting was so cute in the eyes of those who got to see it.

Her husband however... was wiping imaginary sweat while doing his best to avoid eye-contact with his wife!

Unfortunately for the elven king, this meeting is over.

Which means... he doesn't have anywhere to hide.

Soon afterwards, the hall was empty and Zae'nor was covering his ears and hunching at a corner while thinking : 'Ela is scary... Ela is scary.'

*****

"Humph." The female wood-elf snorted through her nose and crossed her arms while glaring at the boy.

Lin : "Humph my ass! Why did you do that?" He said while using a napkin to wipe his head an chest.

Odla'nor : "Because you're a freaking pig! How could you eat so much? Where exactly does all that food go with that small body of yours?" The green-haired woman shouted while pointing at the empty plates.

"It's not my problem that you guys are vegetarians! I admit that I'm healthy and eat more than normal. But, somehow I can't be satisfied with just plants and fruits." The boy shrugged while retrieving some of the pre-cooked meals from his space-ring while thinking : 'Thankfully I was prepared for this day and carried on me lots of meat and side-dishes, Yingtai was really helpful and personally choose the most nutritious raw materials and made the cooks arrange them for me day in and day out.'

The wood-elf watched as the human kid wiped himself casually and calmly after she threw a bowl of soup at him.

"You're a glutton, I bet your mother always hated it when it's meal time." The woman couldn't help but saying that while pitying his mother who must've had her hands full just trying to feed this boy.

The great-sage suddenly stopped eating and raised his head to look towards the female elf.

She felt the air around the boy suddenly change and hesitated, somehow the wood-elf wanted to apologize but she didn't find her courage.

Lin : "Now that you've mentioned her, it's been months since I've seen my mother and family. Man... I really miss them! But, I can't go back... not yet." Then he continued to eat.

Odla'nor : "Why not?" The woman asked while feeling curious about the background of this human, after all... for her, this is the first time she got to spend time with a human.

"There's still a few things to do before I go back." The boy somehow managed to say that despite his mouth being full.

The wood-elf seemed annoyed by his nonexistent table-manners, yet... she ignored it all and asked : "Like what exactly?"

"Well," The great-sage took a moment to think while chewing on his food, after swallowing and taking a swig at a glass of juice he continued to say : "First there's helping a benefactor of mine make a comeback into the world, second there's helping a friend do "something" then... helping my master annoy some of his friends."

"Tsk. Just keep your mouth shut next time when you don't want to say anything." The woman felt like pulling at a few locks of her green-hair.

Lin : "You're free to think of it however you like, now go bring me more juice and some peeled fruits. Oh... don't forget to make me a few extra-large bowls of that delicious salad."

Odla'nor : "Go make it yourself, I'm not your servant!"

The boy shook his head and said : "What kind of rude host are you? You're supposed to do everything in your power to accommodate your guests."

The wood-elf glared at the human kid and shouted : "You're not my guest either!"

The great-sage made a funny expression while saying : "Oh!"

"Don't "oh" me you human free-loader! You're left in my care so that I'd help you heal your wounds, that's all."

"People need food to heal. Actually there's a saying that goes like this : "food heals the soul" so... be a good lassie and go bring me that salad."

"If it's a few meals worth of food then I would've agreed, but you're eating a mountain's worth of food! You on the other hand... either have no soul at all or many souls, which would explain the great amount of food required to heal. Not to mention that even cats don't have that many souls," After a short pause, the female wood-elf suddenly flipped the table while shouting : "Who's your lassie?"

*****

Beneath the tree where Odla'nor lived before being assigned to sentinel duty... four elves were looking up while thinking : 'Just what's going-on up there? These two are being very loud, are they fighting?'

These four are Mela'nor and her brother Milo'nor plus her personal-guard Ode'gar and her personal-maid Orime'sac.

Mela'nor : "Let's go."

Milo'nor : "En."

Orime'sac : "Do you think that human kid is bullying poor Odla'nor?"

The elven-princess delayed her step for a split-second before continuing towards the circular wooden-stairs while saying : "I don't mind Ode'gar teaching the boy a lesson if he's giving sister Odla trouble."

Ode'gar : "Isn't he supposed to be gravely-injured?"

The young-prince rolled his eyes and said : "Were you talking to us or to big sister Orime's breasts?"

The shadow-elf laughed blissfully while treating her lover to a wider view of her rippling chest.

The blood-elf was having a hypnotized look in his eyes which made the princess quicken her steps after giving her personal-maid a very annoyed side-glance.

Once the group reached the entrance to Odla'nor's home, they could hear the sound of someone tossing objects and breaking things.

"Ouch! Watch it crazy lady... I'm still injured." The boy's voice could be heard, he seemed out of breath and in pain.

"Crazy? I'll show you crazy!" The wood-elf's voice could be heard also, she seemed angry and looking for blood... the boy's blood.

"No! Not my meatballs... please?" Suddenly the human kid's tone of voice changed and he seemed to begging his opponent to show mercy!

*Crash...*

The sound of shattering followed his request, even the four elves waiting outside the door could feel the boy's despair when it happened.

"Y-you... how could you? That was the final plate of macaroni-cheese and meatballs! Don't you have a beating heart behind that big chest of yours? You really are a heartless-monster behind all that beautiful visage and soft skin."

"So I'm not only crazy, I'm also a heartless-monster."

Once Mela'nor heard her friend say these words she said to herself : "That human kid is dead."

Her little brother, her personal-guard, and her personal-maid nodded in agreement once they heard the princess.

"Uh... don't forget that I said that you're beautiful!"

"You're dead!"

The boy could be heard grunting from pain before squealing : "I also said that your skin is soft!"

The wood-elf seemed to enjoy herself a bit too much when she said : "You're so dead."

It made the four guests outside her house shiver from head to toe while thinking : 'Odla'nor is so scary, I better behave around her.'

*****

*Knock knock...*

Lin : "Great! You have guests... huff."

Odla'nor : "Lucky you."

The boy smiled widely before wiggling himself free from the wood-elf's hold, afterwards he crawled towards the place where his plate of meatballs was tossed.

The woman frowned when she noticed how this human kid sat cross-legged next to the mess of chinaware fragments and scattered macaroni and cheese before humming a foreign melody while picking the broken shards from the unrecognizable food, when the green-haired elf saw the boy scoop some of it and naturally eat it... she felt ashamed of herself and hurried towards the door as if to escape this scene.

Mela'nor : "Sister Odla are you al-"

Seeing the princess trying to tiptoe and look behind her, the wood-elf took a step outside and pulled the door shut before saying : "Let's talk in the back." Afterwards she led them towards the extremely wide and flat branch behind her home where her personal small medicinal-garden is located.

The princess noticed how her friend is in a bad mood and nodded before silently following her, however... the beauty took a final look towards the door before doing so while feeling confused about what caused her friend to become like that despite seemingly having a bit of fun beating the naughty human kid.

The wood-elf walked absentmindedly between the plants of her medicinal-garden until she reached a swing made from a simple wooden-plank and some woven ivy hanging from a higher branch.

Odla'nor : "You're here to keep watch of him."

The princess nodded and said : "Father asked that we assist to in-case that boy is giving you problems." Then she went to sit next to her friend on the swing.

Once the beauty sat next to her beautiful sister she held her hand and used her finger to pull a few locks of green-hair away just to take a better look at the wood-elf's expression.

Mela'nor : "Why so sad sister? Did that boy say anything to make you uncomfortable?"

The woman nodded and said : "He did," After a short pause she lowered her head before saying : "But... that's not it."

The princess hugged her friend and said : "Hmm... did he do something to make you uncomfortable?"

Again the wood-elf nodded and said : "He did," After a short pause she raised her head before shaking it as if to deny some thoughts before saying : "But... that's also not it."

Milo'nor : "Is that a riddle?" The young-prince frowned while looking towards the wood-elf.

Orime'sac : "Young-prince. I think it'd be better if we let your sister handle this." The shadow-elf suddenly said while pulling the young elf away.

"But-" He wasn't convinced that they should leave.

Ode'gar : "It seems like you've already forgotten all about what happened earlier!" The blood-elf suddenly put his hand on the prince's shoulder and whispered these words before taking a fleeting side-glance towards the wood-elf.

Milo'nor immediately remembered the agonized sounds of the boy when that sad and adorably-cute Odla'nor was in a bad mood!

The prince nodded while feeling beads of cold sweat on his forehead before quickly making some distance with the pair of lovebirds.

*****

Mela'nor : "You know that you can tell me anything, right?" The princess hugged her sister tighter with her right hand and held her hand towards her heart with the left hand.

Odla'nor : "I know. Sister Mela has been my best friend ever since we were little kids." The wood-elf seemed to appreciate the bond between them very much.

The princess smiled before saying : "Then tell me what is it that got you in a bad mood all of a sudden."

The woman tightened her right fist before looking towards her beautiful friend then said : "Ever since the day we met that boy outside the forest, I've been feeling this weird sense of intimacy towards him."

"En. You told us about that before, are you disappointed after getting to know him more?" Seeing her friend being silent, the princess continued to say : "Don't let it bother you sister Odla, he's a human after all. We should never trust humans, especially ones who cultivate."

Odla'nor listened before shaking her head and saying : "In the beginning I thought like you did sister Mela, I kept my guard up and refused to let the kid take a place within my heart. I treated this as a sacred-mission given to me by the holy-envoy, all I need to do is heal him and get-on with my life." After saying that, the woman sighed before continuing to say : "But I was wrong."

Mela'nor : "How were you wrong?" The princess seriously asked while feeling slight dread towards the human boy, to be able to change the opinion of this stubborn sister of hers so quickly isn't an easy feat at all.

"Somehow... him just being himself, this boy has got himself a place within my heart." The wood-elf clutched her chest as if to feel her own heart beating when she said these words.
