"Ooopsie." Laughing, Yuuki turned to face the others incredulous looks as Hee-Jin's mouth opened wide enough to put a tennis ball inside.

'That felt too good to not do it again. I need to go to test my new power. It's good that I don't enjoy the killing but rather the feeling of power, otherwise, I would be worried about myself.' His thoughts were true, as when fighting monsters, one has to be careful to also not to become a monster. Once one becomes a monster they are not Human.

Taking out the Leviathan dagger, Yuuki proceeded to drag away the bear before removing all the meat from its body with experienced movements from his hunting trips with his Father.

They were sat around a fire, cooking the bear meat and Yuuki noticed how both females on their side had edged closer to him by the second. Naturally, in the tundra, his body which exhibited a lot of heat attracted them towards him subconsciously in the end, he sighed and joined the talk with the group.

"Hey, how did you know how to cut the corpse so well?" The E-Rank girl who entered with Sung Jin-Woo whose name was Han Song-I.

Matching her gaze with his intensely charming dark crimson eyes, she hid the blush on her face and listened to his answer.

"Hunting. I went camping a lot with my father before he died in a Red Gate." Revealing the information, Yuuki did not care about the effect his words had. He laughed to himself lightly.

"You're laughing? I'm sure that must've been a terrible memory for you." Leaning a little closer as she said this, Hee-Jin asked with noticeable care in her tone. She did not understand how dangerously close she was to Yuuki.

Sung Jin-Woo who saw their closeness decided to not let this guy anywhere near his sister. He was sure that Yuuki was not even trying to get their attention and it seemed like he was used to this kind of behavior.

"Why was I laughing? Irony. My father died in a Red Gate and here I am in my second one. Not to mention the trapped Gate I entered."

"Wait, the second?" This time it was Jin-Woo's turn to join the conversation.

"Yeah, a couple of weeks ago I was trapped in a Red Gate that was very similar to this one in terms of climate and Beasts. There were no Ice Elves though." Nonchalantly breaking the news, Yuuki managed to again cause their jaws to drop in surprise whilst Jin-Woo raised his eyebrows.

(A/N-- Btw, don't expect anything to come from his relationships with Miss Hee-Jin and Han Song-I. This is just to showcase the effect of his happiness.)

Standing up and stretching his limbs, Yuuki managed to make the two females internally annoyed at once. Previously, he had the feeling that his body was going to burst if he did not use it. That feeling which had almost gone had come back again.

"I need to go move my body, Jin-Woo, you can take care of these guys right?"

Nodding in reply, Jin-Woo allowed Yuuki to venture into the tundra solo.

"Boring." So far, Yuuki had met an uncountable number of B-Ranks and had killed them all. None garnered his interest and he continued going in one direction so he could get back to where the camp was.

Turning, Yuuki saw a pack of A-Ranked Wolves. Excited, he burst with speed towards their direction and was pleased to see a pack of 60 Wolves all staring at him.

Summoning Chad, Yuuki put him into Stealth.

"Chad, when I deal with all of the rest, you go kill the Alpha and evolve as this is the perfect opportunity for you to do so."

Elegantly smashing the Wolves into the ground, Yuuki made Chad glad that this was not what happened to him that day when he instead fell off of the cliff. Chad felt a shiver run across his snow-white fur as he looked at the mangled corpses strewn about.

By the end of his movements, Yuuki had killed all but one of the Wolves in seconds. All that remained now was the Alpha and it faced him with courage yet its body shook in fear of the one who murdered his pack instantly.

Changing the way it faced him, it prepared itself for an attack from the front but instead was shocked by an Icy-jaw piercing through its neck and... sucking its blood?

{No, Chad has not become a Vampire, Yuuki.}

"Oh, alright that's good then." Yuuki's blank face blossomed into a smile when Hina's voice entered his head.

"By the way, where did you go? I missed you."

{Y-you d-did? ...I was trying to heal my soul you see. Before I was linked to your soul by the System, I think I was about to die...}

"Eh? How do you know that you were about to die?"

{Intuition. Anyway, technically you saved my life and I haven't thanked you for that yet...}

"Hina, all I did was give you a name because you can't remember anything. The System saved you, not me."

{But that's the same thing as you saving me!}

"I don't see how it is the same, mind explaining your thoughts?" Yuuki watched Chad's body twitch here and there as he rested on the floor straight after absorbing the blood from the A-Rank Alpha. Conversing with Hina was one of his new favourite things to do and so he enjoyed talking with Hina so when she was gone for a little while, he did miss her voice being in his head.

{If you were not perfect for the System then I would've died. So, you being perfect saved my existence from being deleted. Though, it's not like the previous me has not been deleted. Anyway, I think that as time goes on, my soul will heal more and more until I can remember things again!}

Naturally, Yuuki was as happy as Hina was. Without a doubt, he knew that if he had lost his memories the joy he would be feeling at the chance of regaining them would be as great as Hina's joy.

"That's great Hina! How long will it take you?"

{That's the one thing I don't know, I guess it will one day just happen normally.}

Silence followed after she said this until Yuuki abruptly stood up and so did Chad, his evolution now complete, Chad's body grew in size whilst the aura he radiated was larger than before and stronger too.

Yuuki was about to give Chad some words of praise when he snapped his head towards a certain direction from which he sensed a crap ton of Mana and when he activated [ Perception ] he saw an Icy-Aura spiking high into the sky in two places, one to his left and the other to his right.
