We stopped at several hotels before reaching the capital on the banquets day. We might have arrived earlier if not for the mother’s shopping antics and father indulgence in her.
Immediately we settled in our home at the capital, my maids' quickly bathed me, smothered me with lavender oils, and put on the dress that Mrs. Rose made.
Stepping into the carriage I saw my brothers looking awesome in their matching dark green suits
“Brother Egbert are you excited to meet your love” I teased him, she was more like a stalker fangirl who follows him about when they are         in the same area and her name is lady Louisa
“I thought she was sick in bed”
“I lied to you” brother Clayton said
“Why?!!!! I wouldn’t have come if I knew”
“That is exactly why I lied” so that’s how long bickering started until we got to the palace.
Stepping out of the carriage with my brothers' help, I saw that the palace was beautifully decorated even better than the queens' birthday that took place some months ago
“Isn’t this to extravagant for an envoy” I wondered why
“Yes it is but this to deceive the Nerene Empire that our country is still strong while it’s quite the opposite” brother Clayton answered
“Why? I thought that the Nerene Empire had been fighting a war with the witch so shouldn’t it be the other way around”
“Sadly not, the number of our mages and soldiers have been declining over the years and they have increased in wealth and manpower” Father cut in. So that gives more reasons for me to migrate from the kingdom. I nodded showing my understanding of the situation.
After entering the hall my family went to their various places while I walked around eating whatever that looks appealing.
“Lady Elise, welcome” I turned around seeing the thirteen-year-old prince that father supports
“Prince Leonard, How are have you been?” I greeted
“Would you like to dance?” He asked
“Although it's rude, I'm afraid I would have to decline, I'm so sorry, I’m busy” eating I added in my mind
“No worries I just wanted to show everyone how gorgeous and graceful you look” I couldn’t deny that. The sleeveless blue dress fitted me like a glove and showed my splendid figure. But if we danced it would uncomfortable he became shorter than me by a lot after I reached fourteen maybe after he catches up I would sincerely love to dance with him but that was the reason I used with other people. Truly his height wasn’t the problem I’ve danced with a lot of shorter people in the past but the fact that he uses that excuse to touch places below my waist.
We spoke some more until my father’s servant called for me to meet the envoy. So now it's time to do time to do some work.
