We woke not long after due to a persistent knocking on the door. I slipped out from under the sheets, still half-asleep, and opened the door. Thanks to my perception bubble, I’d known it was Hera and an unknown silver-haired woman.

“Hey, Lady Hera. This Alfia?” He commented while yawning and blinking the sleep from his eyes. Hera looked me up and down and sighed.

“Morgan, child, put some clothes on.”

“Hm? Oh, shit, sorry.” I woke up quickly when I realised I just flashed the goddess and Alfia. I left the door open because it hardly mattered now and went over to the pile of armour for the clothes I was wearing under it. I quickly wrangled my trousers on and turned back to the guests. “Sorry about that. Was half-asleep. Uh, want me to heal you now?”

“How noisy. Do it already you noisy person.” Alfia was clearly annoyed by me. I decided to ignore that and just heal her quickly.

I looked right at her soul and noticed something rather odd. The curse was wrapped around her soul like I saw previously but now I had a better view I could see that there were cracks in her soul which some strands of the curse had hooked themselves into. Before anything else I removed the curse, gently pulling it away from Alfia’s soul and, when it tried to latch onto my soul, destroyed it.

“Alright, the curse is gone. Do you want me to heal the cracks in your soul?” While she was staring at me with an expression of pure shock I got to work fixing the physical ‘disease’ that the curse had caused. Despite the Falna’s enhancement, she was far weaker than she should have been. I could fix that to an extent and I did.

“Yes, please heal her soul Morgan.” Hera eventually answered for Alfia who seemed to have been shocked into silence-hah, get it?-and I did so, getting a feel for her soul and gently fixing the surprisingly extensive damage. From what I could tell it was likely damage from the backlash of using a spell too powerful for her to control. After giving her one more look-over to make sure I didn’t miss any damage, I pulled back my perception.

“Alright, I fixed all the damage but you’ll want to eat a bit more for the next few weeks and if you can, maintain a light exercise routine. It’ll help you get back to where you should be. Oh, and you shouldn’t use spells to powerful for you to control. The backlash of whatever you used almost shattered your soul.”

“Thank you child. Please visit Meteria before you leave and give her a checkup.”

“Sure thing Lady Hera.”

“Come along Alfia. We’re going to visit your sister.”

“Ah. Okay.” Alfia was moving robotically with completely unfocussed eyes. It seemed she was in shock. Just to be sure, I gave her one last look but nothing was wrong. Maybe she was just surprised to be healed?

“Mmfh, Morgan what time is it.” I looked out the window and the shadows were growing long.

“Late afternoon, Tsubaki. Come on, wake up. We don’t want Hephaestus to worry.”

“Ugh. Fine.” She got out of the bed, her naked form exquisite as ever. I suppressed my body’s reaction to the sight and continued getting dressed, knowing that if I didn’t, we wouldn’t leave for another few hours at least. Damn my overly horny new body. My sex drive wasn’t half as strong as this Before.

We need to visit Meteria on our way out as well. I wonder if anything had changed since I healed Alfia.

Right, so I have no more backlog and have run into the problem of having a some potential ideas for further along into the fic when Morgan and Tsubaki are stronger but nothing great for right now. The question is should I put in some time-skips to get closer to the fun parts, or keep the slow slice-of-lifey stuff for a bit longer. 

Maybe have a healing familia (Miach maybe. They were a large-ish familia at this point in time, right?) visit to talk shop with Morgan as healers?

Maybe some more Dungeon Diving? Maybe run into Ruby in the Dungeon? Or maybe go down to the eighteenth floor and spend a week grinding (that would be a sort-of timeskip that would get them both to level 2)?

What do you think? Where do you want the story to go in the short-term? Please help! 

Also, I'm probably going to have to introduce some form of Evilus just to have something to fight against that isn't just grinding in the dungeon. Danmachi is annoyingly lacking in good antagonists.
