After throwing up all the food he ate Shango, scolded Yukini for a solid 30 min. Until he thought he finally got his point a cross. It wasn't till many years later that he would realize Yukini's love for eating disgusting things was beyond fixing. Filling satisfied with his scolding of Yukini, he picked a nearby rock and sit down, and thought about the last battle they had. While Yukini continued to chow down on the food he had made while sneakily eating a few more fish heads.

He being to replay the battle with the Ice serpent in his mind.

“I came real he close to dying there, more times than I would have liked. He said as he let out a sigh. If it was not for the glowing light he would have died a few times simply from being crushed by that behemoth of an ice pop. Looking down at his hands, he stared at the gauntlets that were attached to his hands.

“I still do not know what hell I did to take that thing down.” He said as he opened and closed his hands, trying to remember the feeling of the last blow he dealt. He knew the gauntlets were the source of the attack but had no idea how it was activated. After thinking about the battle for a while and replaying everything that happen he came up with several theories about the mystery ability that he had gained. The first one was that when the glowing was active, his durability shot up, which could be confirmed by him not being crushed by the ice serpent. Any regular person would have been a meat paste after going through what he did. The next thing he noticed was that when he started to glow he would get stronger when he was attacking or attacked and with that thinking, he came to the conclusion that he would grow stronger when he was dealt or received damage, like his favorite Banki wielding battle junkie.

“It seems like I got myself a pretty good weapon,” he said with a chuckle. He was always a big fan of superheroes or villains with similar powers because they were damn near unbeatable if the battle lasted a long time. After replaying the battle several more times, he realized that the ability was most likely passive.

After a few hours went by and replaying the battle in his mind constantly, Shango was mentally tired, and he could feel his body fatigue catching up to him.

“I earned a quick nap,” He said as he let off a yarn and slid down the rock to get in a more comfortable position. It only took him a few seconds for the sandman to take him off to dreamland and after a while, the only sound that could be heard was the sound of Yukini enjoying her meal, who notice Shango went to sleep and without restraint started devouring all the fish heads that Shango had discarded.

Outside Ave, Rolla and Thorn waited at a nearby rest area, where the trainer came to eat and relax.

“So how long do you think he going to last in there,” Thorn said lazily as he sit in a corner, with his legs crossed laying on the floor.

“Not long, I would say. He has a bad habit of provoking things he should not,” Rolla said as she poured Ave some of her favorite tea, afterwards she finished laying out her lunch for the day and took a seat next to her.

“He should be able to at least take down the ice serpent, but the other ones are tricky,” Ave said as she drank the tea Rolla poured for her.

“Ahh that one is quite easy, just wait for it to fill its belly with those snow creatures, then finish it off while it's sleeping.”

“That's so honorless Sir Thorn"

“It is, but it works,” Thorn said with a toothy smile.

“Shameful bastard,” Rolla said as she gave Thorn a spiteful look, then a bite of her cake.

“But If you want to have a grand old battle with it, a few smacks to the head should do it. Unless you're one of those elites monsters and one shot the damn popsicle.”

“Even though I think Shango is going to be special, I don't see him finishing the Ice creature off fast. Especially with those unknown artifacts that he wields. Perhaps we should have studied them more before sending him in there.”

“Nope, throwing the cub off the cliff and seeing if he can come back in one piece is the best method to teach. Sure we could have taught him a few more things, But I believe the most growth comes from discovering things yourself. The feeling of accomplishment will feel so much more satisfying that way.? Thorn said as he lay down and cross his legs.”

“So I see the bubbling drunk can speak a few sensible things from time to time” Rolla

“You know you would be much cuter if you kept such thought to yourself,”

“If you really knew want I was thinking you would stay miles away from me.” said as she stuffed a piece of cake in her mouth

“Why are you two like this?” Ave said as she to a sip of her tea and thought about her next plan of action after.
