First time translating, please go easy on me!

“He isn’t here! You dare lie to me?!” At that moment, the boss’ face became terrifying, her ice cold fingers once again clasping around Yu Su’s neck.

Her strength was great and she lifted Yu Su up into the air with just one hand. But in the next second, her hand slackened suddenly.

Yu Su fell to the ground, covering her sore neck. Coughing heavily, she said with some difficulty: "I didn't lie to you, he really is in this room."

Mid-sentence, both Wang San and Li Yi had came over.

Not daring to delay, Yu Su turned her head, pointing to a certain direction and shouted to the lady boss: "He had always been there, but you just never managed to find him!"

The boss’ gaze followed her finger, and landed on the wedding photo hanging on the wall.

In the photo, the bride smiled in sweet happiness, yet the groom had a forced smile on his face. But there was suddenly a change-

The raised ends of the mouth tilted downwards, the smiling eyes shot wide open - his expression started to change into a panicked look. With a slight rustle, he turned into a shadow and came out of the photo!

The shadow did not dare to hesitate for a single moment and like a gust of wind, he dashed over to the door.

But he had yet to reach the door when Wang San swept a leg towards his direction, kicking him away and back into the room.

The boss let out a furious howl and rushed up quickly.

Cha Nan’s physique was much bigger than the boss and he even had the kitchen knife in his hand, yet he was seemingly afraid of her. When the boss grabbed him, he did not resist and only trembled in her grip.

Wang San walked over to Yu Su and helped her up. “Are you okay?” He asked.

Yu Su nodded, her gaze fixed on the scene, only to see the boss using both her hands to grab Cha Nan’s neck. After furiously letting out a howl, the boss abruptly jerked her head forward and ferociously bit down on his arm.

Cha Nan let out a scream filled with pain and despair. Compared to those from humans, it was far more ear-piercing and unpleasantly harsh to listen to.

The boss changed her target and bit down on his neck. After chewing it a while, she yet again buried her head to take another bite.

The screams from Cha Nan closely followed.

“Ghosts and humans are different, he cannot die until the very last bite. Now, the pain he is experiencing is a hundred times more painful than Wang Yan.” Wang San gazed at the scene and whispered to Yu Su.

“Why is he so afraid of the boss?”Yu Su asked.

“The boss’ resentment is much stronger than his, of course he will be afraid.”

At this moment, Zhuang Han ran in heavily. Taking in the entire scene, he panted: “I could hear everything outside, the screams sounded terrible!”

Li Yi had all along been standing at the doorway. After watching Zhuang Han coming in, she then followed behind and took a few steps in. She curiously asked Yu Su: “How did you know Cha Nan was hiding in the photo?”

Yu Su shrugged: “A woman’s sixth sense.”

The task was coming to an end already, she did not wish to raise her voice to be heard over Cha Nan’s screams.

In actuality, how she found out Cha Nan was hiding in the wedding photo was because she and Wang San had closely followed the male into the room, yet they could not find even a single trace of him.

But she managed to notice that the expression of the groom in the wedding photo was slightly different compared to the previous time she saw him.

She deliberately said the sentence, “He should be hiding in here.” in the room and noticed the groom’s facial expression changing slightly.

It had to be said that him hiding in the photo was a smart move. The boss had been searching everywhere for him every night, and even ran to town to listen for his movements from door to door, yet she never realised that Cha Nan was actually in a place where she could see at a glance.

This was what he had understood from the boss’ mentality - a mother who lost her daughter would not usually enter her daughter’s room so as to not disturb anything.

The most dangerous place had become the safest place.

Just like this, Cha Nan was eaten by the boss one bite after another bite. His screaming had been going on for more than ten minutes, at this rate, even if there was only a head left, he would not stop screaming.

The screams caused Yu Su’s head to ache, and even blocking her ears was of no use.

It was only until the boss gnawed away at his head like an apple that the unpleasant screams finally stopped.

When the last bite from the head was swallowed by the boss, the scene in front of Yu Su blurred and in a blink of an eye, it changed.

She saw her familiar bedroom, sitting in front of her laptop, with the laptop playing the drama she was watching before she entered the game.

And at the same moment, rules regarding the “Death Game APP” poured into her mind.

Yu Su froze for a moment, before recovering.

She finally understood the rules of the game. Wang San did not lie to her, but he did indeed hide a lot from her.

The phone APP “Death Game” would issue players any tasks at any time, and if one died in the game, they would also die in real life.

The death in real life would happen 24 hours after exiting the game. Yu Su felt that this may possibly be the time the system gave for the players to take revenge and settle whatever they need to before their deaths.

After completing a task, there would be a generous reward. The task’s reward would require the players to open the APP to claim.

The reward contained attribute points and these points could be used to improve players’ physical appearance, or to enhance their sight and hearing.

Each time a task was completed, there would be a break. The break for the first task is ten days, after which the time given would double. After the fifth task, the time given for a break would be fixed at two hundred days.

Aside from these basic rules, there was a part that was more dangerous - those who do not qualify for the game could seize the qualification from players in real life.

The way to seize was to uninstall the app on the player's phone or to completely damage the player's phone. The moment of uninstallation or damage, the game would appear on the respective snatcher’s phone.

Successful snatchers could also inherit half of the attribute points obtained by the previous player in the previous mission.

As for the players who had been robbed, they had only 24 hours to seize the game back. Those who had not successfully re-seize it after 24 hours would die.

In addition, the game could invite other players to join together. After the APP task release, fill in the game code of the other party in the invitation option, with up to three players at one time able to be invited.

Because game codes were required, it was obviously only possible to invite people who had already obtained game rights and who knew each other.

Yu Su digested these rules carefully, and thought: Wang San reminded her to hide her identity in reality, this was obviously very important.

There were no moral or legal issues mentioned in the rules of the game, so if a player wanted to kill other players in the game, he could do it anytime he wanted.

But don’t forget that those who died in the game had 24 hours to live after returning to reality. As long as they managed to find the person who hurt them during this time to take revenge, this way was also very dangerous for those who chose to go down this path.

In the information age, as long as there was a person's basic information, it was very easy to get people to each other. It's even simpler if one had a relation with the police.

Regarding the fact that players could be robbed of the game's qualifications by others, Yu Su felt that she did not have to worry about it for now.

There was no one who knew she was qualified for the game, so as long as she did not tell anyone, there would be no problem.

Having said that, who in their right mind would willingly enter this deadly game?

Yusu laughed, collected her thoughts and picked up her phone to open the APP.

The rules said that after completing the task, one could receive rewards in the APP, and she had to see what she got.

Opening the app, the black loading interface appeared first, with two blood red words “Death Game”. It did not look scary, but a little scum-made.

It only took two seconds to load the interface, and what came into sight immediately was the APP homepage.
