Language topics were relatively flexible so the test didn’t cause too much trouble for Ye Hao.

Over the course of a few days, Ye Hao prepared meticulously by reciting hundreds of Chinese test papers and articles, even going as far as noting specific grammatical punctuations. Therefore, except for some questions that he did not previously encounter, the rest were completed with absolute certainty.

An hour later, Ye Hao finished his test. However, instead of submitting it in advance, he thoroughly checked over to ensure everything was in perfect sync.

There seem to be no problems. I already tried my best so there is little I can change...just let the rest depend on destiny.

Ye Hao’s thoughts did not linger on the test paper for long. He soon drifted towards the events that occurred yesterday evening.

That feeling when time wobbled to a slow was very strange...

Does it work like my prospective eyes; can I trigger its activation with my mind?

Ye Hao concentrated and tried to simulate that strange feeling.

At that exact moment, the world in Ye Hao’s eyes slowly lit up with brightness and color. His vision was enhanced, and with only a thought, he could easily see through any objects blocking his vision.

Unfortunately, the flow of time was not altered in any way as the students were still moving at a normal pace.

"C’mon! It can’t just be a coincidence. Remember! Remember that feeling— Clarity; tranquility; fluidity." Ye Hao leaned back on his seat and relaxed his mind and body, submerging himself in the memories of that event.

Opening his eyes lightly, Ye Hao observed the world around him. He was light-headed but incredibly lucid at the same time, just like an invisible ghost on the sidelines, discerning and experiencing the subtle moments between each passing second.

Ye Hao listened to the gentle breaths amongst the examination’s silence as the students whispered to themselves. It was such a spiritual-like experience!

Watching and hearing the crisp sounds of contact between pencil and paper, Ye Ho deducted that time, in his eyes, slowed by approximately ten times.

With such an ability, it wasn’t really a wonder as to why Ye Hao could defeat the bald man. After all, no matter how fierce and bulky the man was, there was no way to defeat someone who could easily track and react to your every movement.

However, Ye Hao suddenly frowned at a certain thought.

Even so, I still need to increase my physical fitness. What use is discerning enemy movement if my body can’t react in time? In addition, I would still need substantial power behind my punches if I were to effectively defeat my opponent.

Ye Hao continued to immerse himself in this strange state for around half-a-minute. After that, his mind started to cloud over and feel fuzzy.

He quickly exited the special state.

Thirty seconds is my current limit.

"If I were to get into a fight in the future, I’ll have to make sure to finish it in thirty seconds." Ye Hoa noted to himself.

Now, let’s test perspective eyes again!

Ye Hao wanted to probe the limits of his see-through ability.

However, he was surprised to find that in only a few moments after launching his perspective eyes, he was hit by an incredible sense of dizziness.

Could it be...both of my abilities depend on the eyes so their limits are interlinked?

After the language test, school was over for the morning session. In the afternoon, there would be the political test.

Ye Hao promptly returned home and took out the political examination papers of past years.

For most other students, they would utilize this little time to hold Buddha feet[1] for psychological comfort, but for Ye Hao, it was instead used to steadily increase his knowledge reserves.

Ye Hao’s memorization ability was quite impressive, in that, he managed to take down a dozen test papers within three hours...and much more to go.

Ye Hao pushed away a test paper after finishing its contents. He suddenly rubbed his forehead before pondering.

Is it possible that my abilities’ capabilities increase with time and usage? If I remember correctly, I usually couldn’t process so much information in this little amount of time.

In other words, my body is still gradually changing even after my grand transformation?

Ye Hao couldn't help but remember the final words that he was told by the god-like middle-aged man right before he fainted.

‘God Blood is gradually changing your body, but in the early days you may have to suffer for some time'.

Ye Hao's eyes brightened, "Yes, that must be it!"

He couldn’t help but clench his fists in excitement. With this, his future potential would be limitless!

In the afternoon, Ye Hao glanced at the political test paper that was given to him.

On the test, there were two questions that Ye Hao couldn’t answer and three questions that he wasn’t absolutely certain about; the rest were manageable.

After writing his name, Ye Hao started working on the questions meticulously.

Forty minutes later, Ye Hao looked at the mostly completed paper in front of himself in surprise.

He knew that political test papers were usually marked out of 90 points

If he had more time to study, Ye Hao was sure that full marks were achievable.

Just two months!

Ye Hao gripped his pencil with a firm determination.

Within two months, I must improve my score to more than nine hundred points!

Three of nine subjects were tested every day: One main subject in the morning and two vice subjects in the afternoon.

Ye Hao spent the rest of the three days in his room reading and studying, except for dinnertime. This had Guo Xiu feeling relieved but also worried at the same time.

Little Hao finally has the drive to study hard...but learning is never done overnight.

Ye Hao's grades were originally bad in the first place, but now he was delayed by half-a-year because of his coma. Who was to say that he could pass this time?

She was worried that Ye Hao’s hard work wouldn’t pay off in the end and he would suffer a hard blow in the future.

...

Ye Hao was called over by Zhou Shuai, his desk buddy, just after finishing the last exam.

"Ye Hao, let's go out and relax today. Wouldn’t it be nice to offload our minds a little bit after the exams? After all, we haven’t hung out in a long while." Zhou Shuai stepped forward and thumped Ye Hao on the shoulder.

"Where? The Gaming Café?" Ye Hao asked.

"Yes!"

"Sorry, can’t go right now." Ye Hao refused without much thought.

"Eh, what's the matter?" Zhou Shuai was bewildered

In the past, wasn’t this kid always excited to go to the café, even more than him? What was the big deal now?

"I need to go to the Xinhua Bookstore to buy some materials." These sets of exams enlightened Ye Hao to the fact that his accumulated knowledge was lacking. If he didn’t continue to self-learn and expand his education outside of school, he would only be an above-average student at best.

"I say, didn’t you usually go out to play at least twice per week?" Zhou Shuai looked at Ye Hao as if staring at a stranger.

"People change," Ye Hao shook his head before gathering his stuff, “If I don’t step up my game, I’ll be left behind. Maybe some other time.”

Ye Hao went to the lottery shop twice in these past few days so his personal wealth has now accumulated to around 500 yuan.

Stepping inside Xinhua Bookstore, Ye Hao went to the cashier after selecting more than 20 books in a circle.

"Hello, that’ll be a total of 632 yuan."

"What?" Ye Hao froze before smiling wryly

Were books these days always so expensive?

"I’ll remove a few." Ye Hao said with a tinge of embarrassment.

"How much do you lack?" A soft voice sounded out of the blue.

"One hundred and thirty-two." Ye Hao turned around to see who was speaking behind him.

This voice...it’s?

"Qianqian? Why are you here?!" Ye Hao was somewhat amazed by the coincidental encounter.

"You actually walked by me twice you ditz!" Li Qianqian pretended to be angry.

"This— I'm sorry." Ye Hao’s mind was completely focused on deciding which books to purchase so he didn’t really pay attention to others around him.

"This is one hundred and thirty-two yuan. Take it." Li Qianqian withdrew the cash from her purse and handed it over to Ye Hao.

“Thanks a lot.” Ye Hao received it and handed the required total over to the cashier.

“Thanks for your purchase!” The cashier smiled before handing over a few bags packed with the purchased books.

"I will help you." Li Qianqian stepped forward.

"How can I trouble you like this?" Ye Hao shared the bags equally between his two hands.

Huh?

Ye Hao’s face was suddenly painted with hints of surprise and wonder. He found that his strength seemed to have improved by a lot.

These more than twenty materials must weigh at least ten pounds, but in my hands, they feel as light as small bags of meat buns bought from a corner stall.

"This must be credited to my transformation caused by the God’s Blood." Ye Hao murmured.

"What's wrong?" Li Qianqian asked as she saw the change of expression on Ye Hao’s face.

"Ah. It’s nothing." Ye Hao shook his head.

Li Qianqian looked at Ye Hao suspiciously for a while but eventually dropped the matter as she placed the book she wanted to buy on the cash register.

"The College Examination Sprint," Ye Hao glanced at the book’s cover before asking curiously, "Wait...aren't you a sophomore?"

“Is there a rule stating that I can’t read it earlier than others?" Li Qianqian handed a hundred dollars to the cashier and questioned back.

"Isn’t this a little too early?"

"The third grade is basically reviewing the content of the first and second grades. Now that the content of the second grade has already been learned, it is always good to prepare in advance." Li Qianqian whirled her index finger in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.
