The next day, Helios started learning the Fae language and enchantments from Vivienne. She may be eccentric, but her knowledge of Fae language was undeniable.

“See, I am an amazing spirit, aren’t I?” Vivienne tried to act smug.

Helios’s lips twitched. He silently conjured a fiery whip and slapped her bottom.

“Ahhh!”

He never did this to any other girl. Only her smug face made his hands itchy. Only using a whip on her could calm this impulse.

It must be Zeus’s blood acting...

Thus, continuing on the lessons and Vivienne’s punishments for a week, Helios finally grasped the essence of the language—gaining the Fae Language skill.

Still, creating a magic system from the base wasn't an easy task even for a former god like Helios. It was at the time that Helios’s work from his last life shone. During his time in Olympus, he had created a workshop to create theories on different magic systems for future use and partially to hide from his overprotective sister, Selene.

The basic purpose of magic was manipulating mana to perform miracles beyond rules dictated by logic. Most races in the world could achieve this through their existence alone.

Devils, inheriting vast demonic power, could cast spells with mere imagination—a miracle.

Angels and Fallen Angels, born with the power to wield the light element, could use it to perform different types of miracles.

Humans, however, had no way to utilize magic except for a few scattered systems which varied based on individuals’ research.

Helios rubbed his head at the efficiency of the crude magic systems. The way they used mana left much to be desired. He would be doomed if he used these magic systems with the minuscule True Ether Gaia had saved up.

That's the reason he learned Fae Language.

Once called the ‘Language of Gods’—each spell with this language conveyed the user’s intent to the world which performed the miracle on the user’s behalf with almost perfect efficiency.

“Divine words of wisdom,” Vivienne said, looking at the scroll in her hands. “A fitting name for a God such as you.”

“I already told you that I am not a God anymore.” He created a fiery whip with a blank face. “Do you not understand?”

Vivienne yelped and covered her behind. “I understand, master!”

The effort he put into taming the Divine Spirit had paid off. She rarely tried to disobey him now.

“Good.”

Helios focused on the parchment scribbled with many strange symbols lying down on the floor.

He threw his head back and stared at the wooden ceiling. His new servants had worked hard to build this shabby cottage in the forest.

“Anything that comes near White Titan gets devoured except True Ether.”

“What are you doing?” Vivienne peaked at the scroll. “Maybe I can help.”

Helios ignored the subtle fragrance wafting from her and wrecked his brain.

“All heavenly bodies have a core including the White Titan… I need to destroy it… an attack that could tear through her defense and annihilate her core in one swoop.”

“A bow and arrow should suffice those requirements.”

Helios shook his head at Vivienne’s proposal. “No bow can shoot an arrow with enough speed to cripple that defense.”

“Then, you can make one.”

Helios felt a spark running through his head. He opened the ‘Storage of Infinity’ and whipped out the Excalibur, a magic quill, and a normal spear with no redeeming features—both items were stolen from Hephaestus’s inventory.

Vivienne stayed silent as Helios started to inscribe Fae language on the spear.

His whip had left her butt ticklish for more than one reason.

She looked at his face still carrying traces of his young age. She knew he had lived for millennials possibly older than her, but his current face sporting a serious expression appeared cute in her eyes.

He is an evil master.

She pouted her lips. He forcefully enslaved her and even spanked her with a whip—if that wasn’t evil, then nothing else was, at least for her.

But he is working hard to help the world.

Gaia had secretly conveyed to her about the matter of White Titan and the nine Ultimate ones. Each one of them could wipe the floor with Great Red and Ophis—that’s just how strong they were.

Master isn't giving up.

That's why she had decided to help him become an Ultimate one, so the world could have some chance to survive.

“Done!”

<You succeeded in recreating the enchantment lost in the chasm of time>

<Fae Language grows into Lvl 20>

<Fae Language grows into Lvl 21>

...

<Fae Language grows into Lvl 49>

The miracle boosted his skill by 29 levels.

Helios examined the ‘Mana Amplification: Type Excalibur’ written on the shaft of the spear. If he was correct then, this enchantment allowed Excalibur to amplify the mana and multiply the attack power.

“Let’s test it.”

Helios arrived outside. Standing in an open field, he held the spear shaft like the hilt of a double-handed sword.

Spear Mastery Lvl 88 (Passive)

Rank – Normal

Description – Allows the user to freely handle spear-type weapons. Increases attack power by 44% and 22% in attack speed.

He poured mana into the spear. Sparks burst from the spear and formed a crimson aura.

“Nice, it is working. Now let’s see the limits.”

He continued pouring mana in it—the aura grew like a storm, towering the trees with its tip fading into the skies, appearing akin to a sword aiming for the heavens.

“I might eradicate a town with this.”

*Crack*

A crack formed on the spear. Helios dispersed the mana. Yet, the cracks persisted until the spear shaft and blade broke down into specks of rust.

<Enchant: ‘Mana Amplification’ added to Fae Language>

<You have accomplished one of the conditions to unlock the [Enchanter: Novice-Tier] class>

<Conditions left to fulfill: Create three unique enchantments (1/3), Reach max level in Fae Language>

Oh, nice.

“Mimicking the enchantment of the strongest sword. I am the best, aren't I?” Helios gloated over the result.

Vivienne slapped his back with a giggle. “You are a genius, though you are a level lower than me when it comes to magic.”

“...”

“C’mon, don't be shy. I know you adore me.”

“Fuck off, bitch!”

Vivienne blinked her eyes as tears pooled within them. “A pure virgin like me can’t be a bitch.”

Helios’s eyes widened at her brazen declaration. “Okay, sure, whatever. I am going back to create new enchantments.”

“Wait, I have a request.”

“Be quick.”

“Uh… can you call me Rin?”

“Rin? Sure.”

“Thanks, Shirou!” She blurted out before she tilted her head with a confused expression. “Why did I call you… Shirou?”

Helios didn't think much of it and went toward his humble abode, leaving behind Vivienne wondering.

“Why did I call him Shirou...? Rin does sound better than my current name.”

The name resonated with her heart for some reason.

She created a mirror out of water and looked at her reflection.

“Am I going nuts after thousands of years?”

***

In the next three years, Helios managed to create many unique enchantments. He also upgraded [Mana Amplification] to [Scarlet Ray of Dawn]. Now, this enchantment could be used with any energy instead of just mana.

Another powerful one being [Armament Upgrade], a type of reinforcement enchantment that upgraded the rank of a weapon with the help of mana.

He also created a magic system for humans while he was at it. A simple one that used the tone down version of Fae language, easily learnable if one worked hard.

Some new skills were also created and mastered. Needless to say, his [Whip Mastery] skill also increased with every passing day.

“Finally.”

Today was his last day here. He was ready to reincarnate.

“Master, are you going somewhere?”

“Lord?”

Helios frowned at Rin patting Sylvia sitting on her lap. Sylvia had grown up quite a lot, enough to rival a five-year-old baby. The problem wasn’t her growth, but Rin. Her clothing—she only wore a red bra and black panties that emphasized her figure.

“Just to get some fresh air.”

“Bring some fruits on your way back.”

She had been teasing him every day, throwing flirtatious glances at him.

Had his training become so effective for her that she began to yearn for him?

If it weren't for Gaia’s Blessing skill calming his mind, he would have already bedded her. He wasn't a saint nor was he a dense idiot. If he wanted something, he would attempt everything until he held it in his own arms.

But one thing always bugged him.

His next reincarnation might end up being thousands of years before where Rin was even born—the thought always deterred him from ever falling in love.

Also, there was something in his heart that persuaded him to endure.

He released a long sigh and shook his head to clear the desires budding inside him.

“I can’t go on like this. I will find a partner in my next life.”

“Shirou, are you ready?” Gaia asked and tapped his back.

“Yeah, I am.”

“We will meet soon.”

Gaia’s gentle smile faded as the consciousness left him. A gentle warmth enveloped him. He tried to grab onto the fleeting warmth but failed...
