[Several possible pills can be utilized to mitigate the pain. Conversely, one could put an individual undergoing the process to sleep and the process would occur naturally. Your bloodline is of the highest order; it would naturally override any other bloodlines without any conscious involvement.]

…So the thing of going through immense pain and needing to stay awake to guide the process is total bullshit?

[In a sense, yes. Higher quality bloodlines naturally override lower quality bloodlines. No exceptions. It only happens when an idiot decides to incorporate a lesser bloodline, thinking they could have multiple. It’s not possible to have multiple bloodlines.]

Hmm… So I can do that. What would it cost me?

[Nothing much. Just 1% of your HP. You can naturally recover it with rest, and pills.]

1% of a billion is still 10 million… Perhaps it should be time soon to invest in an HP recovery skill.

Fairness sake. If a boss character you fight has overwhelming defense and reflexes with HP in the billions, and an attack you land only does 1 HP…wouldn’t you ragequit if you realize the boss recovers HP passively mid-fight?

So that’s a HUGE leap. I didn’t expect the x 2.2 bonus prior to ascension bonus would cause quite the boon…and that last title adding quite a big multiplier too. How do I stack up with the world?

[Well Master Xing… Even if there’s someone who has created a tier 1 Golden Core and is now a Demi-god 10th realm, or even a World Immortal; wait, maybe even a Man Immortal at the highest realm. Even if one of those came along and tried to slap you, you’d just feel like a fly had landed. If you can however infuse your claws with qi, your slap against someone like that would cause total annihilation. Does this answer your question?]

…And the chances for an Earth Immortal to appear are…?

[Due to how poor the quality of qi is in Xiaoluxing, unless they’re forced to come, no Man Immortal would be willing to come down to this realm. Waste of time and effort. Maybe a World Immortal might be inclined, but definitely not an Earth Immortal.]

…So that means?

[You could “court death” all you want; no one has the means or the capabilities to punish you if you ever do get into trouble.]

Once I get my paws into hands, I’ll start using my knowledge to be a healer. Don’t care if the hands are still fuzzy or not.

You mean that furry deception thing? Well…it is quite an interesting thing to do. Maybe not my cup of tea, but hands are hands.

Presences started to descend around Xing, landing respectfully in front of her. The 50 who had broken through to Demi-good and the myriad of others who have reached the Primordial Spirit realm made ranks in front of her and respectfully saluted her. They bowed their heads and cupped left hand to right fist while kneeling on the ground.

““Congratulations Master Xing for your ascension!”” They said, almost in unison.

“Thank you, all of you.” Xing said, speaking to them for the first time with her own voice. “It’s thanks to your diligence and your protection that I am able to cultivate with peace of mind. Now, I hope you further yourselves more; your current realms are not your end points. Given time and effort, you will grow greatly. Some may take a few years; others tens of years…or even hundreds. Doesn’t matter how long; what I give you is the time you need, and the lifespan you need to keep pursuing your strength. Just because you take a short time to advance and the other person doesn’t, doesn’t mean you’re better. At the end, everyone will become Demi-god 10th realm. Later on, even Immortal isn’t out of reach. But let’s not overreach ourselves. To the Demi-gods now, go ahead and go back. Attain Demi-god 10th realm. Your participation in the mission we will commence is necessary. As for the Primordial Spirits, do your best to reach the threshold of Demi-god. Once there, we will find the time for all of you to undergo tribulation safely and securely, to ascend to Demi-god. The next time we do something, I’ll have you take part. Now then, go back, and cultivate diligently.

““Yes! Master Xing!”” With that, the whole group returned inside her realm.

“Now then…time to scoop up all the spoils, and then when they’re ready, let’s see what this ‘Divine Dragon Society’ is all about.” Xing said, swishing her tail. Behind her, her current 10 Demi-god bodyguards landed behind her, kneeling and cupping their hands. “Everyone, gather what you can, and make sure other people can’t pick up our spoils. We can’t let the hard effort our brothers and sisters had in ascending go to waste.”

““Yes! Master Xing!””

As for me…it’s another round of finding Harmony stuff. Let’s see if we’re lucky this time too. 

Divine Dragon Society. I don’t have any ill will towards you guys, but you did try to rain on my parade. That needs you guys getting knocked down a few pegs. If you submit, even better. I know you’re supposed to be a strong backer, so let’s see how strong you guys are.

Xing flashed a sly smile. How am I going to do this that it’ll be the most fun for me? Hmm… Ideas, ideas….

Well, I've got several ideas as to how to make an entrance. It's a toss up between a large formation of Demi-gods swiftly teleporting to the Divine Dragon Society and making them shit their pants immediately, or Xing being carried by someone like Liu Mingshan and teleported there. When provoked onto something along the lines of "you and what army?", her other Demi-gods come out of her realm on cue and make everyone shit their pants.

I'll let them mull in my mind and see which one sounds more impactful and more what Xing would do just for fun. I'm welcome to other ideas if you have any.

 

And yes, Xing's stats are broken. It's been broken long ago. Even people above the Man Immortal realm would have a hard time against her.
