Bai Mingwu guarded Xing as she filled up the Treasury Hall with various materials of superb quality. Xing could easily have put everything into a storage ring and given that, but there’s some comfort in having a full treasury full of priceless treasures. …Well…relatively priceless, because all of these things have become as easy to find as a grain of rice in a granary in Xing’s realm.
Bai Mingwu was appointed as the head liaison of the 10 Demi-god 10th realms assigned to support the Divine Fox Society. The other nine were relaxing in quarters that were provided for them. After all, they would only really be called upon when there’s a dire need for them.
Bai Mingwu watched intently as Qidao Nanyue and the various elders looked gobsmacked at all the materials stored in the Treasury Hall, now protected with arrays placed by Bai Mingwu. The entourage had undergone a soul oath to Xing, quite willingly in fact. So, for now they needed to clearly see the benefits, since what Xing said was after all intangible.

Sheng Laoxue approached the Divine Dragon Society. As being part of the Sheng clan, he was one of their strongest practitioners at Primordial Spirit 8th realm. His clan is one who is under the Divine Dragon Society, so when they sensed that the Divine Dragon Society got attacked, they formed a “rescue” team to assist. Rather, it was just him and some elders, and the aim was really to check the condition of the Divine Dragon Society. If it’s still intact, then their display of trying to assist would be acknowledged and gain more favor. If it fell, well, they hoped they could loot some of the spoils. If at worst someone instead subjugated the Divine Dragon Society, well…they hoped they wouldn’t try to harm the Sheng clan.
He flew with his group, not daring to use a spirit boat. They were faster than most common boats anyways. Time was of the essence, after all.
Sheng Laoxue suddenly sensed the aura of powerful beings inside of the Divine Dragon Society. He paused in the air. It seems…something big has happened. Unfortunately, it’s too late for us. He knew just as he sensed these powerful beings, these powerful beings could sense him too, from much farther away as well.
He had no choice anymore; if he suddenly fled, they could easily chase after him and follow him back to the clan. Even if he run in an opposite direction, they can easily catch them, and then torture out of him where he came from. He of course didn’t want to betray his clan, but with the methods of people stronger than him, who knows what they are capable of?
After flying several more kilometers, he slowly landed on the main platform of the Divine Dragon Society. There, he saw something that made his eyes widen. Waiting at the platform was a powerful Demi-god, much more powerful than the leader of the Divine Dragon Society. That wasn’t the surprising part. What was surprising was that this particular Demi-god looked so young! She looked like she was in her 20s! A 20-year old Demi-god! That was unheard of! He couldn’t quite believe his eyes, but this was in front of him. He couldn’t sense any transformation magic, so her appearance wasn’t a lie.
He slowly walked towards this seemingly transcendent being, bowing and cupping his hands as he stood in front of her.
“Honorable Fairy, I am Sheng Laoxue of the Sheng Clan, subordinate of the Divine Dragon Society. I came to see the situation of the Divine Dragon Society, and to declare my support of you.”
“I am merely a servant to Master Xing.” The lady spoke out. She pointed to the hall inside. “If your words are true, speak them instead to Master Xing, the one on the throne.”
She’s just a servant?! Someone as powerful as her?! Who is this master of hers then?! Xing? I’ve never heard of them before! Although a bit confused, he followed her guidance, and walked slowly inside. Behind him, he could see that some other people had arrived, some of them he recognized. This is going to make a major upheaval of the Leafstar continent’s power dynamics.
Sheng Laoxue walked into the interior of the great hall. There, he could see that oddly there hadn't been much traces of battle, outside of the large crater she saw on one of the platforms she saw on the way in.
He continued on to the main hall. There, he saw two people flanking what seemed to be a…
Is that a…fox? Is that a fox on the throne? Wait…if that’s so, then perhaps it’s not just a fox but a yaoguai instead. I don’t believe these people have lost it and put an animal on the throne. It looks well behaved as well.
Sheng Laoxue quickly dispelled any thought that this fox was not special as he got closer. Its eyes looked like they had purpose, watching him as he walked inside. He quickly realized that indeed, this fox was a yaoguai. He wondered why a Qi Condensing, at the minimum, practitioner was treated as the head. However, he knew it wasn’t his place to question its authority; if these powerhouses say that this is their leader, then this is their leader.
In front of the fox, Sheng Laoxue got on his knee and cupped his hand, bowing respectfully. “Master Xing, greetings! I am Sheng Laoxue, representing the Sheng Clan, a subordinate of the Divine Dragon Society that you now oversee.”
“I see.” The fox replied, in a melodious female voice. Quickly Sheng Laoxue reevaluated her; she was a Foundation Establishment practitioner at the lowest possible realm. However he still didn’t belittle her; after all these powerhouses are watching his movements. “So… The Divine Dragon Society has now become the Divine Fox Society. Seeing this, do you still plan to pledge allegiance to us?”
“Before I answer…may I ask, where is Madame Qidao Nanyue, the former leader of the Divine Dragon Society?”
“Ah, her… It should be right now…” As Xing said that, several people appeared from out of nowhere. They were all young looking, like in their early to mid 20s. They looked like handsome gentlemen and graceful fairies. However, the aura felt from them was quite like the ones that were around; clearly they were in the same realm as them. One of them, a beautiful fairy spoke up.
“Oh, Sheng Laoxue, you’re here. Are you representing the Sheng Clan right now?”
“W-who are you?” Sheng Laoxue asked, still kneeling.
“It’s me, Qidao Nanyue. We’ve pledged our allegiance to Master Xing here, and have renamed ourselves the Divine Fox Society.”
“So, you’re the Divine Fox Society now. Very nice!” Sheng Laoxue said.
“Please stand. It’s uncomfortable after all, conversing while kneeling.” Xing stated.
“As you wish, Master Xing.”
“So, mister Sheng Laoxue, your Sheng Clan had been subservient to the Divine Dragon Society. Now that it is the Divine Fox Society, what are your intentions?”
“Our intentions. Well, we wish to be under you, Master Xing.”
“Here’s what: things won’t change then. You will still be under the Divine Dragon, now the Divine Fox Society, and by extension will be under me. If Qidao Nanyue and the Divine Fox Society elders see promising talent based on my criteria under you after screening of course, then they’ll be taken directly under the Divine Fox Society, and further still have the chance to serve me directly.”
“It is our honor and glory to do so!” Sheng Laoxue said.
“Well, now would be the time I suppose that you would give tribute, but I’ll be honest with you; nothing that you possess would interest me. Whatever you have, I either have myself, or have something better. And even more. Here.” Several peaches manifested from out of the air. These were floated to each of them, with three peaches per person. “Don’t be shy and eat. It’s quite beneficial to you.”
Sheng Laoxue grasped one peach and looked at it. It was much larger than a regular peach, but he could sense some strong spirituality from it. He gave it a bite. The flesh of the peach was sweet and juicy, a taste he had long forgotten as he had long transcended mortal needs of eating. Still, he ate this peach with gusto. After finishing the peach, and disposing of the pit, he noticed something strange. He felt full of vitality, as if he became younger. He gave a glance at his arms, and noticed most of his wrinkles vanished. Surprised by this, he grasped the second peach and ate it. He then observed his skin. His skin had become free of wrinkles and blemishes. It was smooth. His arm regained some more tone, with his muscles regaining mass. Amazed by this, he ate the third peach. Again, he observed miraculous changes. He looked at Xing, in awe of what happened.
“You should look at yourself in the mirror.” Quickly he asked for a mirror and looked at himself. When he saw his reflection, he almost didn’t recognize himself. He had miraculously de-aged. It wasn’t as dramatic as Qidao Nanyue, but he could clearly see that he looked like how he did in his thirties.
Clearly amazed, he looked at Xing and bowed deeply. “Master Xing, I pledge my loyalty to you! From now on, only you come first! Even if you ask me to betray my clan, even if you ask me to betray the Divine Fox Society, I will follow your command! If you ask me to go East, I will dare not go West!” The other people he came with also bowed deeply to master Xing. After all, the dream of all cultivators was to have eternal life and eternal youth. They could feel the subtle changes in them, and they realized that with these peaches they ate, they had acquired both life and youth!
“Perhaps you would like to make a soul oath to me then, so I will have peace of mind then?”
“Gladly!” They all stated.

Xing realized that Sheng Laoxue and his Sheng Clan were not alone in their outlook. In fact, EVERYONE who came to check the situation of the Divine Dragon Society expressed their desire to continue their servitude under the Divine Fox Society and further, serve Xing. Everyone had undergone soul oaths, clearly benefiting from the peaches she gave out. They all returned with lots of peaches, readily to convince their clans and sects that indeed this is the correct choice.
Xing was now resting in the quarters provided for her, which was Qidao Nanyue’s previous quarters. With the spirit stone bricks made and given as materials, the entire society was starting to replace their buildings with this marvelous material.
Xing closed her eyes, pleased that this was once again another fruitful day.
