CHAPTER 94: WORLD DOMINATION

This is the second time I’ve stepped on the Alterra’s castle here in Guardian’s Haven, and it gives me the vibes of victory. For the past millennia, the Guardian’s Haven, which is the capital of Alterra has never fallen to an invasion. Not until today, as this is the day where I mark my own name; Emperor Michael Eldritch, as the king of this land.

I’m walking casually in the royal red carpet of the castle. Right here in the entrance, the security is supremely tight. There are knights who are guarding the pathway where I’m going through, but these people are not in any way a hindrance to my ultimate plan. Instead, the guard knights are here to salute me, acknowledging my power as their new master thanks to the Eye of Deus’ mind-controlling capabilities.

As I pass through the hallways, the mind-controlled knights raised their swords above my head for my honor. The Psychic Amplifying magic of the eye of gods is extremely splendid as I managed to control all enemies in just one stare. With such power, nobody could stop me, not even Xenon or the supposed Dragon Queen. Not even Emperor Sirius Elkyria and his army of elite dragon knights can defeat me.

I opened the gigantic golden door, and a dazzling environment flashed through my eyes. I’m finally in the throne room of the castle, where fifty knights are there for my service. These pawns all had their swords pointing at the person they once loyally served; Emperor Sirius Elkyria. That damned old man is sitting on his throne, with his princess crying on his lap. The Emperor of Alterra might be glaring at me with pure rage, but he knew that he could not do anything as of this moment.

“Emperor Sirius Elkyria, your majesty.” I made a clean smile as I genuflected shortly. “I am here not as an audience for your grace, but as the next emperor who will sit on that throne. I demand that you move your ass away from my seat.”

“You’re one cheeky bastard, Michael Eldritch. Just because you’re in control of my subjects does not mean that you already own Alterra. I have sworn upon the ancient kings that I shall be the protector of this kingdom, and you having control of the minds of my soldiers won’t change my everlasting vow.”

Emperor Sirius Elkyria stood up, and his eyes glowed the moment he shouted a deep voice with full force.

“Haaaaa!!!”

There was a strong shockwave that engulfed the whole throne room. As soon as the shockwave passed through the mind-controlled soldiers and knights, they immediately fell down to the ground. All of their knees and muscles are shaking as if they have been inflicted by intense fear by the mere shout of the Emperor of Alterra. It is legendary magic called Voice of the Emperor that is exclusive to the royal blood itself.

The old man emperor may have been able to take down all my pawns at once, but not me. To counter the shockwave, I raised my hand and golden circuits glowed through my arms. It created a magical invisible barrier that made me immune to the effects of the Voice of the Emperor.

”Impossible!” Old man Sirius stood in awe as he realized that his only ace has no effect on me. “How did you-!!!” 

“Archonlight.” I smiled. “Voice of the Emperor does not affect true royal blood. No matter how powerful you are, I will always be one step behind.”

I glared at the filthy old man, activating my Eye of Deus to amplify my instantaneous Heartstopper Curse. With such quick activation, the Emperor of Alterra’s heart ceased to beat, and he fell to the ground.

“F-Father!” The princess of Alterra cried as she approached her father’s side. She tried to shake his father’s body, but that won’t help to ease the effects of the Heartstopper Curse I have inflicted on him.

I slowly walked towards the throne and grabbed the princess by the neck with my left hand. I coated my right hand with dark energy as I ready a Heartstopper Curse once again.

“Gah! Ahack!” The old emperor drooled on the stairs below his throne as he tried to crawl and squeeze my feet, but all I have to do for him to stop is to kick the old man’s face.

“Hiiiiih!!!” The princess’s cries are music to my ears. I was aroused by her noise, so I continued my plan of grabbing the princess’ heart with my right hand that is imbued with the dark curse. The princess moaned that echoed throughout the throne room after that. “Hyaaaaaaaaaaaghhh!!!”

“...Let… her… go…” Old Sirius begged for mercy. “Let… Serenity… go… P-Please…”

I immediately released the princess as I threw her to the ground beside the throne. Then I snapped my fingers, temporarily halting the effects of the Heartstopper Curse to both the emperor and the princess of Alterra.

“I am a merciful God, Sirius Elkyria.” I grabbed the old man by the collar and smiled. “You know what I want. It doesn’t have to be a bloodbath. My goal is to unite the world into a single nation with me as a ruler. You and your bratty princess need not to die.”

“I... surrender.” Old Sirius muttered. “In my full name and authority, I surrender to you, Michael Eldritch. I surrender the Empire of Alterra to your hands. Just please, don’t hurt my daughter. Don’t hurt Alterra’s people.”

“You can count on me, old man.” I laughed. Then I snatched the diadem on his head and put it on top of my beautiful golden hair. Now there are two crowns stacked up, and it makes me a hell lot handsome. “I shall be the protector of Alterra… No… I shall be the protector of the whole world!”

I immediately released the weak emperor off my clean hands and sat on the throne of Alterra. Unlike my throne in Elysia, the throne here in Guardian’s Haven is cushiony and it is fashioned for an old man like that trash I just beat. I may not be a little bit comfortable with this seat, but this will suffice as I have won the war against Alterra without any problems.

The door on the throne room opened, revealing a beautiful teenage lady wearing a pink lotus dress. As she skips through the red carpet, she checks out the unconscious soldiers all around the room with her crimson eyes with black sclera. She seemed to be happy seeing those helpless people lie down on the ground, including the weak old man and the cursed princess below my throne.

“I know that we must celebrate this achievement, but I have good and bad news for you.” Sakuradrop carefreely said. “What would you like to know first?”

“Good news first,” I said.

“No, bad news first.” Sakuradrop stuck out her tongue playfully. “Your wife, Marisse Trystgade is dead. Xenon killed her mercilessly.”

“Doesn’t matter. Now that my child and my only heir to the throne is gone, she serves no purpose to me.” I said in a straight face. 

But that’s just a make face since I am also hurt for losing my wife. I trusted in Marisse’s ability to brainwash Xenon, but I think she’s too incompetent to pull it off. Anyway, I should cast my feelings aside as I have completed my ultimate goal.

“About the good news…” Sakuradrop made an intentional long pause to make it as a cliffhanger. “All the enemies that raided Elysia has been captured when they are on their way back here. The Pentagram Knights are now obedient to your orders because of the Enhanced Psychic Amplifier Device we constructed at the heart of the capital. Xenon Wingate has been held captive. And the Dragon Queen candidate is now under our custody. We have won the war, Michael. We have won.”

I leaned my chin on my fist and held half of my face using my other hand as I started to chuckle. “Heh. Hehehe. Hehehehe! Hahahahahahaha!!! Fuhahahaha!!!” 

My wholesome laugh continued for about a minute. My audience Sakuradrop was just there to smile, while the old ex-emperor gritted his teeth. He could not believe that I have defeated the empire of Alterra and Xenon’s forces in just a matter of one day.

The moment I ended my laugh, Sakuradrop snapped her fingers. The door on this throne room opened again, and this time there is a group of people who stormed in. It was the media men who are equipped with mics, cameras, and video recorders. These media men are special because they are mind-controlled thanks to my Psychic Amplifiers.

When the cameras rolled, I immediately started my victory speech in this very throne. This live stream will be broadcasted to the whole world as this is the day where everything changes on this planet.

“Attention whole world, and hear my proclamation. My name is Michael Eldritch, Emperor of Elysia. I am here to be the harbinger of news that my wife, Empress Marisse Trystgade-Eldritch, the president of the United Human Nations, has been murdered. With the virtue and authority under the charters of the UHN, I shall be the next president of the union between the countries of Elysia, Sargus, and Fleija."

I made a straight smile to make me a lot more gorgeous in the camera.

"Furthermore, Sirius Elkyria has surrendered to me, and as a result of it, I am now in control of the Guardian’s Haven and all the lands within Alterra’s jurisdiction. No force in the whole world can dare oppose me now. If anyone dares to resist my supreme authority, they shall know and acknowledge my devastating power." 

I stood up and flapped my white coat, making me look like a superhero of all the people. As I made my final words of this speech, I savored the victory of the happy ending I deserve.

"From this day, from this moment forward, the world belongs to me. People of Alterra, Elysia, Sargus, and Fleija… People of the whole world… With the power vested upon me, I command you all to acknowledge me as your one and only God!”
