I could hear the sounds of chirping and the feelings on sunlight touching me, I open my eyes to find myself in a bed with the windows open. As I look to my left I can see Destiny with her head on the bed asleep. I look at my body and well I seem fine and the needles are gone. It also seems that they took off my leather armor. I decide I want to get out of the bed, but I don't wanna accidentally wake up Destiny. Personally, I find it cute that she fell asleep, but I wonder what the others are doing. I reach out to. . . I hesitate and look around me and then proceed to pat Destiny's head. It must be rough for her the most out of the three of us when we got transported.

Usually, I would never do this but hey nobody knows so I'm covered. So do I just wait for her to wake up or do I just get out of the bed hoping she doesn't? Ah, fuck it I'm just gonna climb out of the bed, its not like anything bad will happen as I'm just overthinking things for literally no damn reason. I climb out of the bed and Destiny doesn't move. I look out the window and its a nice breezy day it seems peaceful, I could get used to this. As I stare out the window I could hear a yawn assuming that its from Destiny.

"Link you're awake! How are you feeling?" she askes me

"I'm feeling fine I guess." I answer back

"Well that's good to hear, everyone is downstairs so we should join them." Destiny says as she stretches

I nod at her and put my leather armor back on and grab my sword and bag with my stuff in it. We then both head downstairs.

"Morning Link." Daltons says

"Morning. So what's the plan now?" I reply back

"Well we were gonna leave after you got up but Andr suggested that we visit the temple looking building in the forest." Dalton answers

"Yea Shiro and Zuj left to do their own thing while I stayed as I originally went to do this mission to visit the temple. As Shiro left he told me to tell you guys good luck on your journey other heroes, I'm not exactly sure what he means but at least he gave you guys good luck before leaving." Andr tells us

Other heroes? Maybe Shiro is the other hero the princess told us about? Well, I'll just have to ask next time to confirm it.

After the little thinking I did, I say "I see."

"Well, shall we get going then?" Dalton askes us

We all look at each other for a second and then nod as we grab the remainder of our belongings before going back into the forest. Before we leave we thank the girl and her sister for allowing us to use their house as a resting spot. We then walk out the door and pass by Caesar and Ellie and we tell them that we'll be back after we explore the insides of the temple. Dalton still holds onto the lantern in case it gets dark in the denser part of the forest, we then enter the forest.

"So we do know where the temple is right?" I ask

"Don't worry about it as we know it's in the denser part of the forest and Andr knows where were walking too." Dalton tells me

Andr then proceeds to nod. Andr leads the way back to where the temple was, it looks much better now that all those plant monsters that were here are gone. I mean the temple looks like ruins at this point with the plants growing over it. Andr tries to push the door open it doesn't budge, the girls then decide that I and Dalton should push the doors open. Dalton and I proceed to push the door open it does take us like 5 seconds to budge it open allowing us to push it the rest of the way through. As we enter the entrance part of the roof inside is broken and has fallen onto the floor, there also appears to be a bunch of runes. As I look around it appears that Andr walks up to the runes or whatever to try and read them, Destiny is just walking around and Dalton is observing.

"So what do they say?" asked Dalton

"Well I can't get a clear reading of all of the runes but I did get one talking about a cursed mask but I have never heard of that before. There are also some things about our culture about worshipping the goddess and some other things" Andr says

Andr continues staring at the runes contently trying to figure out what they mean. I decide to walk around and notice that this place has 3 floors, one goes up and one goes down. . . that's a weird building format but could be worst I guess. As I look back at the group we all hear the sound of metal and footsteps as I look back out and up and then down, I see a girl with black hair on one side of her hair and white on the other side, she wears a black and white dress with yellow stars on it and it appears she's running away from three knights in black armor downstairs.

The rest of the group also joins me and sees what's going on. As I look back at the girl she appears to be holding a sword sheathed. The sword has its cross guard go outwards (like a standard sword) then bend up which makes it look like if it were bird wings spreading out, the handle of the sword is azure blue, there appears to be a golden gem embed in the middle of the crossguard. The sword appears to be a bastard or long sword but it's kind of hard to tell from the distance. The scabbard of the sword is royal blue and has golden like parts on it too. The top third of the scabbard has a drawing of the sun and the bottom part of it has a crescent moon which also appears to be on the other side of the scabbard too. As we all watch the girl, she then stares at us with her yellow eyes for a good second or two and then continues looking straight forward as she runs from the three knights. They eventually go into a pathway where we can no longer see them, but we could hear some rumbles.

"Shouldn't we help her?" Destiny tells us

"I would say yes but at our current skill we... can't sadly." Dalton says with a sigh

"Why?" Destiny askes

"Well Destiny, they are knights in full plate armor there's no way we're gonna beat them and this isn't earth remember who knows how skilled they are and what they can use for magic." I tell her

"Yea I guess your right..." Destiny says quietly

"Yea logically we can't do much, even if we tried we have a chance of endangering ourselves and maybe even getting ourselves killed." Dalton says

"Yea we won't be able to help her as we could get killed, those knights are more skilled than all of us as of now. Though I'm not sure if they are just exiled knights that colored there armor or knights that are working with the demon lords." Andr tells us

"Oh jesus demon lords have knights protecting them too?" I say

"Yea they are lower quantity as there aren't a lot of them that work for the demon lords but they are just as a strong as the normal knights, elite knights, and royal guards of Plumeria " Andr tells me

"Well, that tells us that we three need to get a lot of training and practice." Dalton chuckles as he says

I sigh as well I don't wanna do that but well guess we're forced to do that now if the demon lords just get continuous stronger. As we just look at each other awkwardly a bit we all decide to go back to looking around the temple while trying to forget that a girl is getting chased by knights.

"There appears that this place has a sword made of fire in the temple." Andr says

"How do you know that?" Dalton asked

"The runes on the wall said so." Andr answers back

"Huh interesting, so did it give you an answer to it though?" Dalton asked

"Uh yeah it did mention it was in one of the rooms downstairs." Andr says

"Well, let's look for it then?" Dalton askes all of us

"Well, I can't decipher the rest of the runes so yea sure." Andr says

"Okay." Destiny says

I just shrug and follow along. We go downstairs and there is even more rumble than there was on the upper floor. A couple of the doors are blocked by some rumble so we decided to blow them up well Andr blew them up for us which get her kind of tired doing it three times. The first room we enter has a pedestal and light shining above it with a tree growing further in the room and it has a bunch of other old things such as books and chairs and a toilet? What the hell is a toilet doing here? We proceed to the second room which has a statue of a goddess which she's half-naked and has wings apparently, there also appears to be water in the back part of the room with an opening which lets light shine in the room onto the statue and water which it looks like it was post to be a spring originally.

We proceed to the third room and find toys such as dolls, blocks, and other things, it seems to be a place where they made toys but this room doesn't seem to fit at all with the other rooms maybe this was like a church before it was abandoned? In the fourth room we ended up moving rumble out of the way which was hard to do we spent probably a good 20 minutes moving it, we entered the room to then find the magical sword that uses fire. The room doesn't have too much as there's just rumble everywhere and the sword appears to be next to a fireplace. The crossguard of the sword has an orange dragon eye looking thing (no it's not a real eye) embed in the middle of the crossguard as it expands outward, the handle is black, and the scabbard at the top part of the scabbard it goes yellow to orange then to red. Dalton walks up to it and unsheathes the sword and the blade is also similar to the scabbard with its color scheme. The sword appears to be a bastard sword.

"Looks like we found a sword just for you." I say

"I mean I'd like to give it to you Link since you like swords so much but you'll probably say no its a fire sword and guess what Dalton your fire." he chuckles as he says this

Dalton now has three swords on him but of course, there's no way for him to use all three at the same time so I'm sure he's just using the other sword as a backup. We all talk some trivia things and then we proceed to leave the temple as there's not much for us to do and Andr's tired so no more exploding some rumble to open up more pathways for us to explore. We eventually reach back into the village and as we do the village chief walks up to us.

"Oh, adventurers thank you for saving our village... it's not much but please take it." he says as he hands over 10 silver coins.

We thank him and prepare to leave but as we did he called me and we all turn around.

"Oh, you the boy in black hair. I heard you used a potlid as a shield and so one of our blacksmiths made you a shield." he says as he gives me a buckler

"Thanks, but you didn't have to give this to me." I tell him

"Well we don't have much on us but you three deserved more as you guys weren't post to be saving us from the monsters in the first place right? You were post to check on the other adventurers so we thank you." he says

I don't know what to say and I look at Dalton, he shrugs at me and I just give off a sigh. I handshake with the chief as we leave. We walk to Caesar and Ellie and tell them were ready to go back. Dalton proceeds to hand the lantern to Caesar as it was his.

"Well climb aboard. It's a couple hours before we get back anyway." Caesar tells us

"Tell me more stories Destiny!." Ellie says

Destiny smiles at Ellie. We all proceed to climb aboard and sit down and lay our belongings next to us. As we sat down Andr speaks up.

"So since we have been this together this long as a group... could I join your guy's group?" Andr askes us

"Well, I'm fine with it. How about you guys?" Dalton says

"Sure it'd be nice to make some friends. It also won't let be the only girl in the group." Destiny

I don't say anything but I give a thumbs up as to say yes. Andr smiles as we allow her to join us on our journey and she appreciates it and thanks us. Andr, Destiny, and Ellie all proceed to talk about a bunch of things that didn't really matter with me, Dalton is just looking at his new sword, and well Caesar is being himself and that's being happy? Since there's nothing else for me to do I decide that taking a nap would be nice as well if I try to keep myself awake with nothing going on anyway. I'd probably start falling asleep as nothing is stopping me from it so well I might as well accept it. I start closing my eyes to fall asleep.
