Lesson 05 - Stream Fallout

--- Day after Eri's First Live Stream ---

Isabelle yawned.

She had been up a long time watching her aunt’s live stream.

The thing with the bats was weird, but why not, if shadows could speak, why shouldn't bats be able to communicate? She decided to ask Zaria about it during the lunch break.

"Isabella, can you talk to bats too?" A classmate asked.

Isabelle cringed, it had been months and they still got her name wrong. She feared the mess if she had an actual Irish name. "The same way you do."

"I can't talk to bats," the unknown girl bristled.

"Sure you can," the annoyed redhead replied. "They just ignore everything you say."

The girl frowned when someone started giggling at her. She tried to push Isabelle, only to have her hand caught by Samantha.

"What are you doing?" The disguised wolfgirl growled.

"She is annoyed that her excessive ego got bruised," Zaria explained. "Since she can't win a war of words, she tried to win with force, which she lost, too."

"Loser," someone spoke out aloud.

"That is a bit much. Now, no need to be rude, even if she feels entitled despite not deserving it," the albino was heavy on the sarcasm today.

The loser struggled to free herself from Samantha's grip but failed utterly.

"It is fine, Sammy, you can release her." It was odd to see the usually shy or playful wolf act fiercely.

"Actually, Isabella," one of the boys started, "how does your sister do that?"

"She is my aunt. And I have no idea." Isabelle responded with a sigh. "Also, my name is Isabelle, not Isabella."

"Grrr…" Samantha growled at the entitled girl and let her go.

Watching the girl storm off was oddly satisfying. Despite that, Isabelle felt that this was going to be a pain in the ass, being out of people's sight was easier.

"Don't worry about her, worry more about getting second hand fame," Zaria teased.

"Don't remind me, I have questions about that, anyway. Can we talk later?"

"Sure, want to talk over lunch? I made pasta."

"I hate you," Isabelle lamented the calories she could see in her future. Thankfully, Samantha was keeping her active, but she really wanted to know why the floof insisted on feeding her.

"Carbonara?" Samantha asked eagerly.

"No, napolitana this time, with extra bacon," Zaria calmed the puppy.

The wolf made a happy noise.

--- Lunch Break ---

"So, how does my aunt communicate with them?" Isablelle wanted to know.

"With animals?" Zaria asked to clarify.

"Yes, I mean a dog, rats, and now bats?" Isabelle easily admitted that she was curious.

"She found magical ones. As a rule, magical species can be far superior and different compared to normal animals. Like with Intelligence, that is not bound to brain size," Zaria explained. "For example Yuki, you won't find anyone smarter than she is below greater god or outer god levels."

"She really is that smart?" Isabelle wondered about the usually smug fox, sure she understood everything, but that was not really a surprise.

"Yes, did you think I was kidding?"

"It is just hard to imagine," Isabelle admitted.

"The rats are all magical, growing smarter over time. With the hound Eri was lucky that it did not turn into a zombie. The bats that she actually talked to, you saw some of them were larger and had red eyes? Those were elders that guided the swarm and took over the main part of the communication."

"I think the squirrels near my home are suspicious," Samantha joined in on the topic. "They keep on evading me when I hunt them."

Isabelle needed a moment to digest that, "you hunt squirrels?"

"They keep throwing things at me and always steal my snacks when I leave the window open," The annoyed wolf complained.

"Besides, you speak to foxes, which is far superior," Zaria reminded her human friend. "Also wolves, dogs, cows, and cats. Her imprints from me, the shadow cats, and Cécile do help with certain species."

"I wonder what will happen when she meets cats," Isabelle wondered.

"Depends on the cats, but I honestly want to be there. It will be a sight to see," Zaria made a face that made the redhead fear for her aunt's sanity.

"Hey, MacGlitch, talk to any vermin today?" One of the tough senior boys called out.

Before Isabelle or Samantha could react, Zaria fired back. "Have you used your brain today?"

"I am not scared of you, Mae, you are just a little bitch," The jock blustered.

"I am a vixen, and you are just a back row character with a loud mouth," the albino seemed more antagonistic than usual.

"So, what ate the head off you?" Isabelle asked directly, something that made Samantha duck behind her. "You aren't usually as ... Angry? Insulting?"

"Tomorrow is going to be really annoying. Now I am trying to decide how to make the worst of it," Zaria shrugged unconcerned.

"Shouldn't it be to make the best out of it?"

"Imagine this a bit like Pinky pretending to have a brain."

"Pinky?" Isabelle had a suspicion that she knew whom White was talking about.

"Her perfume is terrible, and she bathes in it." Samantha clutched her nose.

"She is not that bad, maybe?" Honestly she had never interacted with that girl, she was pretty, and popular. Which meant that a lot of boys followed her, but as far as girls went, most were put off by the cloud of perfume following in her wake.

"Or that 'influencer' we have in our class pretending to be an artist while you are a Cannes Film Festival Winner."

"Isn't that the French Oscar equivalent?" Isabelle had heard of it.

"Oscars are a joke, have you seen the requirements to submit your movie? Also, so many people are pretending to be actors or are pushed as actors for various reasons," Zaria groused.

"That bad?"

"I know how to act," the albino admitted.

"You do?" Isabelle asked before she could think better of it.

Suddenly Zaria shifted in the seat, changed how she sat, her face went into a wide smile. "Now, Isabelle hun, it is not nice to doubt your BFF. Just because you have a mate now, you can't abandon me~."

The teary yet smiling face honestly creeped Isabelle out. And she wasn't the only one. Clearly, Samantha was just as confused, if not more. The wolf was slowly moving away from the crazy fox.

"How could you do this to me?~" The albino demanded in a soft and breaking voice.

Isabelle and Samantha found themselves hugged tightly, pressed against each other, and held by a teary yet chipper Zaria. "Promise me that you won't abandon me even when you have a large pack of children."

"What?"

"Let me name at least half of them?~"

Things were getting really confusing.

"I even brought dessert, apricot pie with vanilla ice cream. You will eat it naturally?~"

"Couldn't you have told me before you gave me extra pasta?" The redhead, uncomfortable with the situation, complained.

"And spoil my master plan to turn you all soft and squishy? You agree, Sammy, right? Hugging Isa feels much better now that she isn't all skin and bones~," the albino tutted.

"Yes, her lap is much nicer now," Samantha agreed before she could stop herself.

"Sammy?!" Isabelle felt betrayed.

Then Zaria released them and sat back down, "true acting is not just about pretending to be someone else, it is about making others believe that you are the person you are acting as." The floof smirked evilly, "coincidentally, I am the best liar you will ever meet, I just don't see a reason to lie normally."

"So that bit about your master plan was a joke?" Isabelle asked hopefully for a positive answer.

However, Zaria ignored Isabelle's question, "good work on her fitness Sammy, if we continue like this, we should have her up to a decent standard by human terms by the end of the year."

Fox and Wolf bumped fists.

"Please tell me you two are joking?" Isabelle had the sinking feeling that a decent standard as those two meant it, meant superhuman to everyone else. "Please?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about? Do you know what she means?" Zaria looked at Samantha, with a totally innocent look on her face.

"No, I have no idea what is wrong," Samantha did the same.

Isabelle wondered why Samantha caught on perfectly to a joke now of all times and was not wary of Zaria. "Fine, be that way, now you said pie?"

--- After Lunch Lessons ---

"Isabella, can you command bats like your mother?" A student from the parallel class asked when she passed them in the corridor on the way to the toilet.

"That was my aunt, and no, when I talk to animals, nothing happens." She faced the girl, "My name is Isabelle, not Isabella."

"Who cares?"

Someone else came to bother her.

"Can you tell your sister to stop the copyright strike against my channel?" A boy approached the redhead angrily.

"It is not my sister, my aunt is the detective, the copyright is something the show has." Isabelle pondered for a moment. "Cop Life or something, so complain to them."

"You can tell your aunt to talk to the show," the boy demanded.

"Are you expecting her to know someone who matters?" The girl wondered what this nuisance's issue was. Why was he bothering her when he had issues with whatever platform he had uploaded to?

"That reporter was calling a manager all the time," the boy argued.

"So, tell your teacher to give me better grades," the girl countered.

"What the fuck?" He was clearly lost.

"Same thing," Isabelle pointed out, she was clearly influenced by her mother, using logic.

"How is it the same?" The annoyance did not see the similarities.

"Your teacher, so you know him," the girl pointed out. "It is easier than asking my aunt, to ask the reporter, who would ask her manager, who'd have to ask someone else."

The boy growled.

Then, a slender hand clamped down on his shoulder and a deeper, more feral growl sent shivers down his spine.

"Don't worry, he was just leaving," Isa managed not to frown, getting rescued twice in one day was a new low for her. Things were finally getting better with all the attention aimed at her and the two that were her friends. Now, her mostly orderly life was thrown into chaos again.

"What, I am not finished, ouch, let go!" The boy shifted under the painful grip.

"What is going on here?" A familiar voice called out.

Isabelle turned towards Yvonna, the older schoolgirl who was approaching with a frown. "He somehow thinks that I can help him get a copyright strike removed from his channel."

"Why would he think that?" Yvonna asked, feeling like she was missing context.

"He thought aunt Eireann is my sister, and that she can do something about that strike," Isabelle summed up the current issue.

"That makes no sense," Yvonna decided after a moment. "I mean Eri was present, but the copyright holder is the company behind the 'Cops Live' show. Possibly some large multimedia or publishing company."

"You sound oddly informed," Isabelle remarked.

"We have a few 'make tasty coffee' videos and our logo is trademarked, and we have copyright on various images. I helped my sister to figure things out, we had discussions with our lawyers as well to make sure we understand enough to know what is going on when something happens." The shadowcat sounded monotone. "Most of the time we ignore it, with just a mention that the users need to link us. Free advertisements are useful."

"That sounds oddly reasonable, and completely unlike what I heard about copyrights on the internet," the redhead replied.

"Well, unlike large companies that can gain a lot from a lot of content, the café is small, and it is not worth it to charge them for images. A nice black coffee with a foam cat in a Black Cat Café mug is nice, but they can easily get another image," Yvonna grinned. "So getting some free advertisement is better than nothing and annoying simple people. We copyright and sue large companies that use us without our consent, naturally."

Isabelle nodded, ignoring the boy who was paling and cringing since Samantha was close to crushing his shoulder due to the appearance of the shadowcat.

"Ouch, let me go!"

"Sammy?"

"Yes," she released him. "Don't bother Isabelle any more."

The three girls watched the boy run off, and almost run into Zaria, who glared at him. To Samantha and Yvonna, the small shifts in Zaria showed pure aggression and a deadly threat. To Isabelle, it was less, she just seemed plainly annoyed.

"What are you looking at?"

"An idiot, now shoo, go away," Zaria waved dismissively and walked past him.

The schoolboy was not intimidated, he was just leaving because his shoulder hurt, it had nothing to do with the girls glaring at him.

Having four girls stare and glare was not something a teen boy wanted to deal with, especially since three of them were known to be strong.

--- After School ---

Samantha growled, something that felt like a warning to Isabelle.

"Seriously? Idiots never learn," Zaria sighed.

"Ambush?" Isabelle asked.

"Probably, and before you worry, we can hold back properly. Remember that even Catherine clawed an adult man's face off, and she is just a housecat," The fox reminded the human.

"I won't worry then, as long as it doesn't take too long. My mom is trying to finish work early, and we want to watch my aunt's stream replay," she frowned. "Want to come over?" She asked Samantha.

"I am not interested in the replay, can I nap on your lap?" Samantha was not nearly as interested, but she was willing to keep company.

"Sure, want me to brush your hair?" Isabelle asked her wolf.

"Yes!" Samantha eagerly confirmed, if she had her tail manifested, she probably would have been wagging.

"Why don't you two go ahead, I will clean them up," Zaria shooed the two young girls away. She smiled at them, young love was sweet, the two weren't there yet, but it was slowly going that way.

"You have that smile mom has a lot," Samantha accused.

"She is right, my mom has the same smile," Isabelle confirmed.

Zaria just kept smiling, and then turned away to take care of a bunch of idiots who had called for help from older 'friends'.

--- Afternoon ---

The two girls, one calm and the other squirming in her seat, were doing their homework when Isabelle's phone rang.

It was an unknown number, she picked up anyway.

"Hello?"

"Hello, I am Agent Mayer, FBI, I understand that you are Code Purple cleared?" a female voice introduced herself and asked quickly.

It took the girl a moment to get an idea, looking at Samantha's fluffy ears was what made her get the right idea. "Do you mean Zaria and such?" When in doubt, blame Zaria. (shirts now available in story, hurry while supplies last <3)(editor having fun)

"Yes, though she is Code White and above my clearance," the agent admitted, "I am supposed to tell you that your mother needs something to clear out fumes from a 'Candle of Arousal'."

"A what?" Isabelle asked, to make sure she had heard properly, "wait, I need to note it down." The girl pulled up her notebook to note everything down, "Candle of Arousal?"

"Yes, she needs something to purify the fumes from too many candles," the agent explained calmly.

Isabelle felt herself blush, just what had her mother gotten herself into? "How many?"

"Fifteen candles, they were burning for at least four hours."

"I will ask," Isabelle felt her face heat up more as Samantha was staring at her. She just knew that her wolf friend had heard everything.

"I heard the candles are fun," Samantha mentioned casually, "mom likes to use them when she and dad are home alone during full moons. The house smells weird afterwards. I wonder when I will get a new sibling."

Isabelle felt her face burn even more, wasn't Samantha supposed to be clueless? The worst part however, her friend was not even teasing her on purpose. Zaria on the other hand? That was going to be bad.

"You can call this number to organize pickup," the agent, who Isabelle had already forgotten the name of, added.

"Don't think that will be needed, it will probably get teleported in, like she always does," knowing the albino that was very probable, "I will call if there are issues."

With a sigh, the redhead stared at the phone and then called her oddest friend.

"Hello Zaria," She greeted the floof.

"Mom needs help."

"Kon Isa~" The albino sounded different somehow, older maybe?

"Do you know anything about 'Candles of Arousal?"

"Wait at least another year, maybe two," the floof fired back instantly.

The redhead groaned, she had known that would happen, or something like it, "seems mom needs something to clean up after fifteen of them that were burning for at least four hours."

"What the fuck?" The albino sounded far more serious now, "any idea how many died or were affected?"

"No? I didn't speak to her, just an agent called me."

"Okay, hmm, one moment, your mom is good, she wasn't affected. I am going there personally to clean up, so you don't need to worry."

"Okay? Is it that serious?"

"You know those stories with overpowering aphrodisiacs? Ranging from 'you feel a little more aroused' to 'you jump anything'?" Zaria asked, with an audible smirk in her voice.

"Yes," Isabelle did not squeak, no matter how much Samantha was giggling.

"One is fine to set the mood a bit, fifteen for so long is mindless orgy territory until the body gives out."

"Oh, that sounds bad," Isabelle was not sure what to say to that.

"I should probably pack a few antidotes, and might as well sell them the cures. I suspect your mother will want to analyse one." There were sounds of cupboards opening and closing.

"Make sure mom is fine, and tell her not to be too late," the human told the kitsune.

"Will do, see you tomorrow. Bye."

"Bye," Isabelle disconnected.

"You are blushing~," Samantha announced.

The blushing redhead opened her mouth in denial, but realised that denial was impossible. "It was embarrassing!"

"Why?" The wolf tilted her head honestly confused.

Isabelle honestly wondered at the different mental aging, once her friend grew up in a year or two, she was going to remind her of this, "you will understand in a year or two."

"That is what mom always says."

--- Day of the 2nd Cops Live Stream ---

Isabelle was staring at Zaria.

She honestly suspected that the floof was playing with time again.

It was after lunch, and during a break someone had already thrust a phone streaming at her, "Isabella, your mother knows a real Diviner?"

"That is my aunt, not my mother," She preferred mother to sister honestly. Did her aunt really look young enough to be called her sister? She did not think so. "And they probably met on the job." Oddly enough, the last thing was true. It was funny that they had both met Zaria independently.

Disappointed, the girl left.

She turned to glare at Zaria, something that had absolutely no effect at all on the albino floof. "I am blaming you!"

"I blame whoever got bribed to add fake psychics to the show. At least this way, the newest fad of psychics and police should fade out. I am pretty proud of my speech, I mean, I clearly explained why real psychics would never show up in a show. Pun intended."

"Hey, Isabella, you know any psychics?"

"My name is Isabelle!" She shot back, annoyed with everyone who usually ignored her, and until recently, pretended she didn't exist. First, they ignored her, it was never full bullying, but due to her family situation, they steered clear. Now, suddenly they talked to her, and never even bothered to learn her name. Despite watching her ever since, Zaria and Samantha had attached themselves to her. It was ridiculously stupid.

Zaria snickered. The albino nodded at Catherine, who passed by them.

The catgirl in disguise stopped after a look at Isabelle. "Are you alright? You don't look too good."

"What is my name?"

Catherine was startled, "Isabelle of clan Mc Glytch."

"We met like what? Four times?" Isabelle asked the catgirl.

"I think five times? The steaks, the party, and a few times here at school during lunch break."

"Exactly, and my class can't remember my name after all those months since we started school. And Zaria, you don't count." Isabelle was pointing at the albino.

"Seriously?" Catherine asked, flabbergasted. She looked around, and most of Isabelle's classmates looked away or just shrugged. "Your class sucks," the catgirl admitted. "Why are they trying to talk to you anyway?"

"My aunt talked bats into helping her during the last stream. It was a 'Cops Live' episode with a psychic, and today is another episode, and she has a certain diviner on call."

"That sounds stupid, a real one would never appear in public. Wait, bats? Is that due to the short goth?" Catherine suspected that the vampire influence was the cause, she had no interest in cops and was not watching the stream, even if she had heard about it.

"Her girlfriend is probably the cause. As for the diviner, I am not sure how she is capable of contacting her," while saying this, Isabelle was staring at Zaria.

"I am a very tailented person." It was a bad pun, but it worked.

Catherine snorted. Samantha giggled. Isabelle groaned.

--- After School ---

The duo was staying over at Samantha's place, Isabelle's mother got called in for overtime since the laboratory was overloaded with samples from the stream events.

Liska happily greeted Isabelle, the small husky was quite adorable.

On the TV the stream was already running, showing a man dressed in white concentrating and waving his hands around.

"What is that?" Samantha asked, staring at the screen.

"That is supposed to be some sort of seer," one of Samatha's cousins told them from the couch, "hello Isabelle, come sit with us. We are watching your aunt and Her destroy that white weirdo."

Isabelle greeted back, "hello Fenia and Riria, how are you two?"

"We are great, hey Sammy." "Come sit sit."

"Zaria probably fed you two, are you fine with waiting for dinner?" Hati called from the kitchen.

"Yes, we are good, pasta napolitana and cake," Isabelle replied, "and thank you for having me." She wondered if a wolf like Hati was normal, or like Samantha who was far more active. The huskies did not count, they were always active unless they were napping or doing something that was taking their full attention.

"No problem, you are family," Hati gave her a gentle and motherly smile.

Isabelle and Samantha sat on the couch, where the twins had made space for them, then the two huskies promptly plopped onto the two younger girls, and Liska climbed on top.

While it was hot and heavy, in the human girl's opinion, she did not complain. The huskies were far too good at the 'you don't like me any more' look, besides there was something oddly comfortable about a cuddlepile.

"To the redhead in the canine cuddlepile, tell everyone not to prepare dinner, there will be plenty to deliver later," Zaria's childish voice announced.

"A message for our viewers?" The reporter on screen asked curiously.

"Yes, I thought I'd warn them since the mother is listening in, a snack wouldn't hurt, it is going to be late, and my masterplan needs continuation," Zaria cackled.

"I guess I don't need to cook today," Hati announced, and squirmed into the pile despite being a wolf.

Isabelle blinked, "she is joking, please tell me she is joking!" She looked around for help. Everyone was ignoring her question.

The twin cousins peered curiously at her. The mother was busy squirming into a comfortable position, half under and half on top of the huskies. Samantha was shifting so that she was partially lying against her classmate. Liska slipped from on top of the pile into its depths, now sandwiched between the left twin and her mother. Hati was finally lying almost at the bottom across the sitting girls' laps with everyone else on top of her.

Isabelle really wanted to tell them that they were heavy.

"Also, you really need to get used to it," Zaria pointed out, "I see a lot of canine cuddle piles in your future."

Isabelle looked at the pack atop of her, they were all smiling at her. She was doomed, maybe this was why the two were out to get her fit. She suddenly imagined herself buried at the bottom during a husky family meeting.

"You know, I can really see the family resemblance between you, your mother, and your aunt," Hati commented.

Despite everything, it was oddly comforting, and surprisingly comfy. Isabelle suspected that it was due to huskies coming from colder areas. She decided to ask, "do you get cold in the winter?"

"Not really?" "Wish there was more snow." "Everyone loves playing in the snow." "Snow is fun." "Too cold, I can't smell anything."

--- Evening ---

After the feast and stream ended, there was a ring at the door.

Hati went and opened the door.

After a short exchange that Isabelle did not understand, but had everyone else twitch their fluffy ears, and sniff with their noses, the sole human suspected that dinner had arrived.

Moments later, Yvonna, in her black shadowcat form, oozing shadows, and loaded with a huge package of wrapped food. "Hello Isabelle, Samantha, little one, twin top, and twin bottom." The catgirl deposited the large package carefully on the table, then pulled a few more out of her shadows.

"That is a lot," Hati mumbled.

"Everyone took a package with them, Zaria, Ari, and Iruel really overdid it," the shadowcat grumbled. "That is the package with the raw meats, there is the package with the raw vegetables. Here are the grilled meats, the prepared salads, and the cooked corn and potatoes. Here is a package for Isabelle's mother, I know I'd say the name wrongly."

"Even when she isn't cooking herself, she is stuffing me," Isabelle complained.

"You are too thin." "You need to eat more." "You need energy to move." "Hugging is more comfortable now." "I will get you into shape." "You never stood a chance."

Nobody was on her side. Even Yvonna was giggling at her.

"Now, I am leaving, we still have zombies to clean up. Have a good night, see you at school, it was nice to see you, little one and twins." Then she melted into shadows as she teleported away.

With the delivery having arrived, Isabelle was sure they were going to force seconds on her, despite Zaria and Samantha making her eat more at school.

A minor delay happened when Samantha's father arrived from work, it was clear that he was from the husky side of the family with how he looked at the pile of food, gave everyone hugs, and made everyone hurry up.

The pile of meat was appreciated by all the canines, the salads less so.

That night, Fionnula called really late to ask if Isabelle could stay the night, something that was easily permitted. And made Isabelle happy since it meant she did not have to move as much.

Unfortunately she forgot that aside from Samantha, she was spending the night with her husky twin cousins. That meant late chatting and a sleepover in a pile.

--- Friday Morning ---

Isabelle was still very tired when her alarm rang, actually the complaining whines from her cuddle puddle were more effective than the alarm. That and someone was burying their face in her neck, it felt ticklish.

"Today is going to be a long day," the human girl complained to nobody.

"Good morning!" Hati announced from the door, and drew more complaining whines.

"Morning," Isabelle mumbled, and started untangling herself. She needed a shower badly, idly she wondered if she was being trained in more ways than one. She had not woken despite feeling hot and sweaty.

Or maybe, she had just been too tired.

"I am too paranoid," the girl sighed, and went to take a shower. She had the feeling that was going to have to help them wash the tails to make it to school on time.

--- School ---

Luckily for the sleepy quartet, it was Friday, which meant that they just had to survive until past school.

Naturally, the stream was even more popular this time. Isabelle sighed in despair as she felt even more eyes on her.

At least Zaria was laying face down with her upper body on her desk.

"Rough night?" Isabelle asked her overpowered friend.

"I hate zombies," the albino floof mumbled into the desk.

"That bad?" the redhead asked.

"How much better is my sense of smell than yours?"

"I have no idea?"

"About a hundred at least. Now those zombies were rotting human meat, afterwards I had to dispel that place, and clean up magical traces from a rotting human sacrifice site made by a demonic cult."

"That sounds ..." the human trailed off, not sure how to respond, "oh, mum is going to complain about work again."

Samantha was covering her nose just imagining the stench.

"Probably, I will make sure she gets something for the stench tomorrow. We are still meeting up?"

"Yes, I think so," Isabelle carefully confirmed.

"Mother is making a list of things for me to buy since we are going to the magic mall," Samantha confirmed.

"Good, smells like you had a sleepover, one small husky and two a bit older than you almost identically smelling huskies?" Zaria finally raised her head and sniffed the human girl.

"My cousins are twins," the wolf confirmed.

"My condolences," Zaria nodded at Isabelle.

"Same to you, they are curious and might tag along shopping."

"Hey MacGitch, can you introduce me to that diviner your mother knows?"

Isabelle sighed, then glared at Zaria, "You heard it, the diviner finds you, you don't find her."

Zaria looked smug like a fox.

"At least it is over now," Isabelle sank into her seat, "soon they will forget, hopefully."

"And here I am already prepared to sacrifice Yuki the next time."

"Wait, there will be more?" Isabelle asked, alarmed.

Zaria shrugged, "that is still kinda in the future, it might happen or it might not. Chaos theory applies to divination, the past is simple, it has already happened. The present or near present is really simple, too. Everything else? Chaos theory hits hard, and every butterfly counts."

Isabelle gave her odd friend a look, then glanced at her normal friend, despite being a wolf, who looked just as lacking in understanding as she did.

"I will deal with it when it happens. For now, I will do my best to ignore everyone."

"Good idea, that said, wear comfortable shoes and clothes tomorrow."

"Okay."

Notes time, honestly being in the centre of attention like that? Sounds like a total pain.

Yes, I am identifying with Isa here. Though the canine cuddle puddle sounds fun, I'd get a tailbrush and start grooming them, totally forgetting the stream.

The 'Masterplan' came from nowhere, but with Zaria liking to cook, and enjoying feeding others, and Sammy being overly active, Isa is on the safe side. Healthy food and plenty of exercise.

The twins? Huskies can be playful, so I imagined what would be chaotic with four huskies wanting attention.
