After the game was finished the four corners returned to be a pillar with a pyramid for the top. After the pillar returned to normal, all of us moved to the ice table and sat along various seats. Jana was finally going over her shock of being so close to enormous dragons, or should I say drakes? It doesn't really matter as I think both are correct, anyway, she was finally able to relax a little near Staash and Kora, but I still caught glimpses of her looking over to them, more specifically, she was looking at their mouths, with teeth that looked sharp enough to cut through stone and the size of her forearm.

"So, what was that with the ball, errrrhm?" Innev asked me and clearly asked for my name together as he stretched that last word.

"Denaru, my name is Denaru" I answered.

"Right, Denaru, hi. What was that with the ball? I've never seen it do something like that and I've been playing Manaball professionally for 50 years" he said.

I stopped and looked straight at him. Besides the wood-like horns on top of his head and the pointy ears, he looked no more than 20 years old.

"How old are you?" I asked incredulously.

"153, 154 if you wait until next month" he answered.

This time was Jana's turn to stop and look straight at him and ask "what?".

The humans and Amity burst laughing and the elf frowns.

"She had the same reaction you did, Eleno" Eugeo said while patting his friend in the back.

"Every time" Amity says while laughing.

"C'mon guys, this got boring after the 15th time" Innev said.

“Okay, that’s enough. Let’s eat” B’erene said as she began pulling food out of nowhere and putting it on the ice table.

After a few moments, the table was filled with food, and I don’t mean just a lot of plates and stuff, no, I meant food was literally in piles around the table near the two house sized dragons and a little near me as well.

I didn’t know any of the food items in the table, but the smell alone was enough for me and as soon as B’erene finished putting the food on the table I almost jumped in the food as I stuffed my face full of everything I could see in front of me. I didn’t even register what was passing through my mouth as my entire body was suddenly hungry like I’ve never felt before.

“Wow, calm down, Denaru. Did you not eat for the past few days?” Staash asked me.

I had enough control to shake my head before I returned to eat mouthful after mouthful of food.

“Oh, that explains it” He said.

Jana looked at him confused and he explained what he meant.

“Dragons are one of the few species that are naturally physical and spiritual since birth, meaning that our bodies are made of physical matter just as much as pure magic. So, if a dragon doesn't eat for a few days, the physical part of the body will start to eat itself, the same is true to any physical living being, unlike any physical being, however, dragons don’t die from starvation. The physical component of their bodies will break down until only the spiritual part remains, that is a body made out of pure magic. The problem with this is that unlike actually living, being made of purely magic feels like surviving. You have enough energy to live, but that’s about it. Well, yes, those with more magicules reserves will have more energy than those with less, but the rule is the same.” Staash explained

Complementing his explanation, having a body made out of magic is like having a constant spell active. It’s draining your reserves just enough for your natural regeneration to surpass it by a little, and no, this won’t count as proficiency to gain the [Automatic Magicule Recovery]. Spirits are one of the species that have full magic bodies, at least in this plane of existence. Back in the Spiritual Realm, our bodies are just our souls. From what I know from dragon physiology, when a dragon’s body becomes fully magical, it can’t go back to having a physical component unless it undergoes an evolution, meaning that only white dragons can do this as after their evolutions dragons stop evolving. If I’m not mistaken, a dragon with a pure magic body will stop growing altogether, as it’s the physical component that makes the body of a dragon grow. Zenshin spoke in our heads… No, that’s not true. I might be lost in the food, but in my peripheral vision I saw only our group nodding their heads. The group of mages kept eating like they didn’t hear a thing, meaning that Zenshin probably only spoke to us and not them.

I ate like there was no tomorrow and after one of the giant piles of food being emptied by myself alone, I was finally full. After I stopping eating, I noticed that I ate what should be ten times myself and was left wondering where the heck all that food went before I remembered the insides of my body were thousands of degrees hot, the food probably literally evaporated as it entered my stomach… or, whatever I have in the place of a tradicional stomach.

“So, now that you ate, Could you explain to us what in the name of the Gods you did to the ball? It shouldn’t be able to teleport like that, even with a teleport spell in it. And the fire it was coated in the first time was just laying on top of the ball. How did you put two spells inside of it?” Celeber asked me.

“Sincerely? I have no idea. First of all, the only spell I know is the [Fireball] spell. Second, when I headbu- I mean snoutbutted the ball, the only thing I know is that I loaded it with at least half of my magicules and a lot of mana-...” I was saying, but Kora interrupted me.

“Wait, you discharged your mana core in the ball?” She asked.

“I guess? It was from the same place I use to use my fire breath” I answered.

“That would explain the fire, but not the telepor… Wait, how did you evolve?” Kora asked.

“Huh? Amity taught me the [Fireball] spell and made me do something that I passed out after, I don’t even remember what, and after that I could evolve into a few different options but I chose the Solar Dragon option” I answered.

“But they were all fire related species of dragons, right?” Staash asked.

I turned to him and answered. “Not really, there were two options that weren't fire related. They were the Razortail dragon and Infernal dragon” I answered.

“Aren’t Infernal dragons hunted in a lot of places?” Eugeo suddenly asked.

“I don’t know about other races, but dragons frown upon their existence as they are a natural menace to everyone” Kora answered him then turned back to me. “How many options did you get to choose from before evolving?”

“Just four” I answered her.

“Four!?” Staash suddenly said a little louder than normally. “Two is normal, three is rare, but four? Four evolution options?”

“And half of them weren’t fire related? Yeah, Amity might have screwed you up there” Kora said.

“Whaaaaa? I have not done such a thing? When did I screw up somebody once in my life?” Amity said indignantly.

Do I list by name or by time? Zenshin said and Amity looked at him like he just shot her pride with a bazooka.

Kora noticed my confusion and kindly explained.

“Dragons evolve only once, and the evolution is based on what we do before our evolution and our elemental affinities. That’s the reason dragons have an affinity for what they are, because they evolved to be who they are based on their affinity. You, however, seem like you didn’t. That’s probably the reason Staash said your fire breath was lacking, because you don’t have an affinity for fire” She said.

“What do I do now?” I asked.

“Unfortunately there isn’t anything you can do. You already evolved to a fire dragon, so that’s what you’ll ever be. That’s the same reason the dragon hierarchy works, because once a dragon evolves, it can’t do it again. Though, we could check your real affinity” Kora answered.

Celeber and her team, who were quiet until now as Kora revealed details of the dragon community that were likely not widespread given their expressions of shock, suddenly spoke.

“We can do it in the city. They have an affinity meter in the Guild Society in the city where we’re staying” Celeber said.

“Tho, I don’t think they would let dragons just walk around… Probably?” Innev said.

“Yeah, no. We came to an agreement with that city that we wouldn’t scare their citizens by getting too close” Staash said.

“Well, a small dragon won’t be a problem, but it would draw unnecessary attention” Celeber thought out loud.

“So… A dragon walking around town would draw attention?” I asked and Innev nodded.

“It’s simple, then. If there isn’t a dragon around town there won’t be a problem” I said.

“But there will be a dragon, we need to take you to the Guild Society building for the affinity check” Eugeo said.

I smirked and mentally prepared for the pain that was about to come.

“Who said I was going as a dragon?” I said and activated [True Mimic].
