The skill took over my body faster than I could react, and because of that I almost lost consciousness as [Instincts Overdrive] tried to take over my own consciousness like it did to my body, but I managed to stay conscious by sheer willpower fueled by the fear of having my mind eroded until there is nothing left.

I had managed to stay conscious, but I had totally lost control of my body, I was just a passenger at the moment who couldn't do a thing but watch.

My body roared at Faroh and I could feel he tried to use the breath attack again, but it didn't work. I could feel that whatever I used for the breath attack still hadn't properly recharged yet. The skill had also sensed it as the next thing it did after the roar was to jump directly at Faroh.

The pain that was coming from my two shoulders was excruciating, but that didn't stop the out of control skill as it ignored the pain and used the [Pain Reduction] skill to its fullest, leaving me having to bear all of that pain.

"It looks like you've lost all rationality. Good for you, you won't realize the terror or losing your head" Faroh said as a scythe made out of shadows began to form in his hands.

No, I couldn't let this stupid skill take me to the slaughterhouse. I tried to forcibly take control of my body, but the skill control was too powerful for me to break it.

My body kept getting closer to Faroh, and he was already in position to take my head, my anxiety kept growing as I began to imagine what would happen to me in a few instants. It was in that moment that something clicked inside my head and I noticed that I was thinking about multiple things at the same time, what would happen to me, what happened to Amity as she had come here way earlier and the anxiety that being dragged to the slaughterhouse without being able to resist was giving me. I was still using my [Parallel Processing] even if I was not in control of my body.

This gave me an idea, and if I was wrong… Guess if I’m wrong I’ll die. I timed the moment when Faroh began moving his scythe and activated [True Mimic] transforming into a Horned Rabbit as the scythe passed where my head was, hitting the tip of my horn and cutting it like it was made out of butter.

“HOW?” Faroh shouted as his attack failed to actually hit me.

The moment my body landed and tried to turn around I’ve notice a big problem, the wounds carried over to this transformation, although somewhat closed thanks to the [Regeneration] skill still being active it was still a deep wound and I could feel a lot of my blood pouring down the cuts I’ve suffered and with such small body like a rabbit I had way less blood and could feel my HP dropping like a boulder who fell from the top of a mountain.

I activated the skill again, this time transforming into a Forest Orc. [Instincts Overdrive] was good at adapting to my body changing and the moment I became biped it threw a punch at Faroh, who was not expecting the sudden change. But to my dismay, the punch was met with a water barrier that absorbed the kinetic energy of my fist, rendering all my strength futile as only a small ripple was formed because of my punch.

Sharp pain erupted in the middle of my torso, Faroh had protected himself with the water barrier and shot a ball of water so small that it looked like a bullet and followed by the water barrier becoming a water fist and punching my face with such force that I was thrown backwards and hit the stone wall of the mountain and my body ricocheted on it and ended up falling on the ground near where I had started.

My head was ringing and spinning with the punch, my vision was blurred and I couldn’t understand what was being said. I could feel that my wounds were still open and bleeding, opening my status screen I could see my HP dropping like water. [Regeneration] was already active, but the damage was too deep for it to work properly.

[ Proficiency points have reached the threshold. Skill [Regeneration] achieved Lv. 3 ]

Like a heaven sent, the skill leveled up when I needed it the most and the effect was immediate, my wounds closing up faster than before. They still were fatal wounds, but the skill was doing it’s job of healing them way better now as I felt the bleeding stopping.

I wasn’t out of danger yet as Faroh came walking just as my vision cleared and my head stopped spinning, he was with another water blade on top of him, aiming at me.

“Enough of surprises, this ends now” He said, clearly annoyed by me having survived his attacks for so long.

Take this as a parting gift. I heard the voice of the Pantherino I’ve killed in my head and a loud crack could be heard coming from somewhere in Faroh’s clothes followed by the sound of various crystals shattering. Immediately after the shattering sound Faroh dropped to his knees trembling, he looked inside his clothes and an expression of horror spread to his face.

He turned his face to the dungeon entrance and got up.

“No, no, no, that’s impossible!” He said as he walked towards the entrance, but something was off, he was slow, too slow, and his walking was like an old man with arthritis.

As he approached the entrance, a shiver runned up my spine and the night sky began to get even darker than it already was, even the forest fire that was still burning from both fire magic and my plasma blood was getting darker like someone was turning the bright settings of reality down.

The air began to move as winds circulated around Faroh’s house. Faroh looked at the scene with horror and returned to run towards the dungeon, but his movement was cut short as he suddenly stopped mid step in an awkward position. Crack-like shadows began to spread from his house towards the surroundings, but one of the cracks had already found its way towards Farohs own shadow. Eventually everything in the immediate area around his house was covered in those shadows, and they grew, forming a sphere of darkness that even I couldn’t see.

A presence inside this shadow sphere suddenly came into existence, and it was so overwhelmingly strong that [Instincts Overdrive] deactivated by the sheer pressure from the presence, even [True Mimic] was deactivated and I transformed back to a Solar Dragon. The light my body emitted naturally wasn’t enough to disperse the shadows that involved my body and the surroundings.

“I must thank you” Amity’s cold voice echoed throughout the sphere. “If you hadn’t trapped me in that time trap, I wouldn’t have the mental energy necessary to break that damned seal. I thought it would require me to use an extraordinary amount of magicule to break the seal in parts, but all I needed was the anger I feel towards you to fuel my own skill and atomize the entire seal in one go”

I couldn’t see her, but her presence was all around me, just like the shadows.

“Looked like you were keeping yourself in one piece by infusing yourself in time energy from those time crystals, but they’re all gone now” She said. “The war ended nine thousands years ago, and ever since the racism between the races was becoming a thing of the past. But you kept holding on those views and refusing to listen… It’s time to finally end your story”

Amity laughed with a cold voice before continuing to speak.

“Looks like our roles are reversed this time. Do you remember the little elf girl that you’ve found in the middle of elven lands? Do you remember that instead of killing her, you thought it was a good idea to enslave her? And do you remember how she killed you with the power you forcefully injected onto her, or at least she thought she killed you, because it looks like the man was prepared for that. But not anymore, this is the time to end your horrible life. Just like last time, but this time for real, goodbye, “father” “ She spoke, and after a second the sphere became undone and Amity was standing in front of a pile of minced meat that I was pretty sure was Faroh.

[Somewhere in the kingdom of Moralis, Year 12.021 of the common calendar]

“I can’t believe we’re leaving without nothing” The Paladin Albert said to no one in particular as his carriage moved in the dirt road.

“Sir, the soldiers are exhausted and the only clue we’ve found was a wagon trail that leads towards the Kingdom of Dracius, we cannot continue our expedition in foreign countries” The archbishop Lenin said as he looked at the Paladin in front of him.

Their expedition was originally to intercept the Witch of Pride, seal her powers with [God’s Light] and then finish the job by bringing her head to the Pontiff of the Church of Light, it almost succeeded, but they somehow lost her when she fell from the sky near the border of Dracius. They’ve spent an entire week trying to find her, but the only thing they discovered was a trail of a wagon and the steps of a canine animal pulling it.

“Besides, sir, we sealed her. The seal’s mark appeared on me as a sign we-... AAAARGH” Archbishop Lenin was interrupted as the mark of the seal he casted on the Witch of Pride suddenly set ablaze and the seal was suddenly inverted and wrapped around the archbishop.

Albert could only sit in his seat and look with his mouth agape as the archbishop was smashed from the chains made out of light that came through the seal’s mark.
