My cat used to have fur
Soft, fluffy, and black with white
Ever since that fateful day
Things haven't been quite right

He seems a lot smaller
And he was small before
He was very small, that old cat
As told in his lore

No longer is he squishy and cuddly
Solid to the touch
It's not very comfortable 
But I still love him just as much

My cat used to have fur
He used to have a specific look
That which I could recognize 
As my cat whom I am sure is now made of wood

His tale here has been spun
He has four corners now
Despite there being no meow
I love every one
