1st option would be our MC and his live in the „cold country“ that I dont have a name for yet, with no planet/dimension switching abilities/choices. And his progress in live while he gets older and older, at some point travels the world for a bit (more like to the countries next to his Homeland ).

The 2nd option would be something like  where our MC still lives in our modern world but travels to the „cold country“ and spends his time there too  (with the classic time moves faster / slower shit used in every second story you come across ) .

btw I very very likely wont use a system with numbers and lvls that you find in every isekai/ transmigration novel ,because I‘m bad with numbers .
