Detention. The dreaded punishment for students across the world. Not because anything bad happened in detention. No, it's precisely because nothing happens in detention. The punished are simply told to waste valuable time that could be used for other things, like studying, having fun, or doing the exact thing that landed the troublemakers in detention.

"Woo, detention, baybee!" Helena kicks down the door, entering the room with a fire that even the most enthusiastic students would fail to equal. Said fire is swiftly extinguished upon seeing who's in charge of today's detention, and it's not who usually does it. "Oh. Ally. Great."

"Although I admire your loyalty to Tara Anath, the holder of Primordial Abyss Tartarus, the current head of the Disciplinary Committee, and rank six of the Beyonders, she is not a reason one should attend detention." Ally spouts out, standing at the front of the detention room. She's here to play the role of overseer, due to a few of the Disciplinary Committee members being busy with their leader on a raid against yet another of Serina Veil's clubs. "I want you all to state your names and reason for being in detention."

"Well, you already know my name." Helena shrugs as she takes a seat at the front desk, lifting her legs onto the desk. Legs that are promptly pushed off by Ally. "I was here for Tara, but since she's not here, I guess I'm here for starting a fire in the dorms… again."

Ally nods towards Helena before turning to the rest of those present. She proceeds to point at a girl squatting on the desk, who is fortunately wearing gym shorts instead of the school skirt. The squatter cracks her knuckles before dramatically pointing at herself with her thumb.

"Gale Sunder, chosen of Susanoo-no-Mikoto." Gale lets out a loud laugh before jumping off her desk, choosing to lean on it rather than taking a seat. She then points at another girl in the class. "I'm here because I got into a fight with her."

"I'm Rhea Raw. I like to fight." Rhea proudly proclaims, getting up from her seat and manifesting a sword out of nowhere. She stabs it into the ground, maniacally grinning towards everyone. "I'm always here because of fights."

"You two, please settle down." Ally commands, exerting a bit of pressure. Gale and Rhea are unfazed by this small amount but relent anyway. They've seen her full power, and not only that, but Tara is known for disliking those who dare harm her subordinates. The two sit down, and Ally takes that as her cue to move onto the next student. "You with the butler, you're next."

"I suppose. I am Alouette Lugt Tony. I am here because of an unauthorised manifestation of my Gift." Alouette sips on a cup of tea, which she then gives to her butler. He bows, taking the cup and placing it on a tray filled to the brim with various snacks, drinks, and even a cloche that hides something big. "Marina should be attending, but I believe she found a new target of envy."

"Then I'll have Vesper fetch her." Ally nods towards a dark corner of the room, and out pops Vesper, the only other Disciplinary Committee member not part of the raid. She stoically nods back, sinking into the shadow in a method similar to her stone-masked twin. Ally then turns to the last student part of the detention session, only to facepalm. "Alright, who did that to Amane?"

Amane Mirai sits at one of the desks, typing away at what seems to be a prototype portable computer from the seventies, completely ignoring her current situation. Right now, she's surrounded by naginatas and warspears, all acting as bars for a cage, with an appropriate roof made from a tatami mat. To add insult to injury, there's also a sign duct taped to the makeshift cage with a crudely written sentence: 'gae baby jail'.

"It's Mirai. She basically deserves it." Gale shrugs as Rhea loudly laughs at their shared artwork. "You think it's funny, right, Helena?"

"It'd be funnier if you somehow got a pacifier into her mouth." Helena proposes, to which Alouette claps her hand. Her butler proceeds to pull out a pacifier from somewhere under the tray and gracefully throws it at Rhea, who is closest to Amane. "Why did you have your butler bring a pacifier?"

Everyone turns to Alouette as Helena questions the rich progeny, only to be met with a detached ignorance. She even has the gall to clap her hands, ordering the butler to lift up the cloche, revealing it to be an entire ham, all for herself. The others in detention ignore her, as well as the threatening commands coming from Ally. 

"Welp. Time to suck this up, Ama… ne?" Helena turns to the girl who's always typing away, only to find the so-called 'gae baby jail' completely empty. In the split second that every girl is distracted, Helena suddenly finds something slamming right into her chest, causing her to fly towards the wall.

"Tsk. Who dares interrupt detention?!" Ally yells, activating her Gift. Immediately, the atmosphere within the detention room becomes oppressive as cell bars block the entrances, completely locking everyone in. "Show yourself!"

Everyone looks at Helena, finding what exactly bumped into her. It's Vesper Sheol, the girl sent to grab Marina Vyne. They all then turn towards the hole in the wall, from where she supposedly came from. Noticing the chance for a fight, Rhea pulls her sword out of the ground, holding it towards the hole. Gale also creates a weapon, a katana that flows with energy, and joins Rhea. Alouette remains unbothered, eating away at her after-school snack.

The room remains silent for a moment, the situation becoming more and more tense as the attacker refuses to enter. Then, it all happens in a blink.

Bulldozing inside the room comes a slithery creature oozing with infernal energy, and atop stands Marina Vyne. The first to jump at the children of Leviathan is Rhea, who is promptly hit with an energy beam by the severed head of the sea demon, sending her into the same wall Helena and Vesper are leaning against. Then Gale approaches, only for Marina to shoot a swarm of flies at her, sending her at the wall with the others.

Ally then steps in, snapping her fingers and causing cell bars to close down on the hole in the wall. The child of Leviathan Marina stands on, who is known as Billy, screams as it loses just a bit more of what little neck it has to the bars. Enraged, Marina attempts to launch an attack at Ally, only to suddenly find herself handcuffed. Ally, with a leap, proceeds to kick Marina in the side of her face, sending her flying into a desk chair.

"Return to whence you came, infernal creature!" Hella exclaims as she pushes Vesper off herself, creating a magical pentagram under Billy. This summons a large, red hand to come out of it, gripping around Billy and pulling him down into a portal straight to Hell. "Man… my ribs hurt."

"I will give you permission to go to the infirmary with Rhea and Gale." Ally nods towards Helena as the cell bars disappear. The delinquent doesn't bother to respond, instead poking the two girls who were flung at the wall to get up. Ally then turns to the dizzied Marina and the still-eating Alouette. "You two shall remain in detention, however."

Sorry for the really, really late chapter. I got distracted by some character profiles. I had an epiphany that I should probably make the profiles for characters who are probably important, like Amane or Jackie. Then I proceeded to make more profiles than just that. Whoops.

Anyway, as compensation, I did three character stories. The stories are for Nozomi Kiko, Patricia Nitti, and Gloria Makedon.

Now then, with all that done, have a good one.

Side Note: As a fun fact, every character story title is a music reference. All of them but one are a song, with the odd one out being Elise von Karstein's. Her reference is to a band.
