Chapter 322

"Gah!"

A blood-curling scream echoed in the savannah. A guy who was grinning so wide was lying on the ground with his limbs missing. He coughed blood but he didn't change his expression. The scar on his face made him more frightening to look at. 

"That's why I can't understand people who have crazy tendencies."

Kitsune appeared, she didn't sweat nor did she have heavy breathing. She just finished the man without a problem. In the first place, the winner was already decided. 

No matter how much Wayne tries to cast his explosion to hurt her, it won't happen. Not even a gram of dust touched her. She just redirected the force of the explosion. 

However, even if Wayne was going to die, the smile on his face didn't disappear. This was all part of the plan, dying was nothing to him. 

"Kiyahaha! We won!"

"Hm?"

"Now that you are away from the stage, my comrades can kill the Prince!"

Wayne said as blood spat out of his mouth. He was grinning and even his teeth were tainted by blood. His whole appearance represents insanity. 

Josephine used one of the most trusted people of Beastmen for her appearance. That certain person was already dead and she changed to her appearance. Josephine and Hakanria were so close to the stage that they could kill the Prince. They were hiding their killing intent to finish him in one shot.

"Vania? What are you doing?"

Ex-captain James asked Vania as she was slowly getting closer to the stage. James felt like Vania was stealing glances at the stage without any reason. On top of that, he didn't see Vania activating her Skill the whole time. 

Vania smiled and opened her mouth. 

"Me? Nothing, I just want to do this!"

She said and opened an Item, it was an Item that could immobilize a person. She aimed the Item at James and James lost his strength. Then, Vania tried to stab his chest while smiling cutely. Fortunately, James has a tough defense so her attack failed. 

"James!!"

Kalman witnessed the surprise attack and protected James from being attacked again. Vania stepped back and her appearance changed.

Her characteristics as a bunny woman turned into a panther. Her tail and ears became that of a panther. However, the smile on her face didn't change, she was still grinning. Josephine appeared. 

"You!!"

Kalman glanced at James, his partner was just paralyzed. He wanted to attack Josephine but another attack shot him so he used his shield to block it.

"Ah, what a shame! I thought I can reach the stage easily. Welp, I still have my partner so, see ya!"

"You bastard! What did you do to Vania!!?"

Josephine giggled and back away. Her figure disappeared in the middle of the battle.

"Partner? Could it be that!?"

Kalman turned around, sure enough, he found Eive flying towards the stage. She was an impostor and she was going to kill the Prince. Kalman tried to notify the defenses but it was too late. Evie's appearance distorted and her true face shown. He was a male, a Beastmen from the Lion Tribe, his eyes were blazing with hatred.

"T- That's!"

He roared and raised his claws to end the Prince, but a powerful shockwave hit him and he flew meters away. A human saved the Prince against the enemy, his role was to protect Shenten in case the enemies reached him. Colt emerged and glared at the Lion Beastmen. His hand was bleeding from the self-inflicted damage.

"… I thought Hakanria is much powerful than this?"

Colt tilted his head. 

"No, that's not Hakanria."

Kalman claimed, Hakanria won't easily fall just by one Skill. He was far stronger. 

"Then, if this is not Hakanria, where is he?"

Josephine who was running away from the stage was happy. Because she accomplished half of the mission, and she didn't die. 

"I will leave the rest to you, Hakanria."

Just like what she said. 

The people around the stage raised their defense. Colt and Kalman looked intently while Lander and Alpha were fighting the undead. 

"We have to concentrate, Hakanria is fast. His target is the Prince, we have to protect the Prince!"

They roared and raised their defense strongly that almost no one could topple them. Just like what they said, someone was rushing so fast, his true appearance was not revealed because he was under a Skill that camouflaged his real image. 

Hakanria was moving so fast and no one detected him. That person would definitely die once he got closer.

However, instead of dashing towards the stage, Hakanria went in the opposite direction. His real target was not the Prince. His ferocious eyes found the prey and he licked his lips. 

He charged and pierced her chest!

"Gah!"

Hakanria stabbed Josephine! 

"Ack! H- Hakanria! Y- You traitor!!!"

Josephine cried as blood gushed out of her chest, she was losing her life. She glared at Hakanria who betrayed yer, she was cursing him. Hakanria's eyes were emotionless as if he staring at an object. 

"I think you made a mistake. I'm not your ally or everyone's ally. I'm on my own. I hate people who try to control me. Only one person can command me, Axelle, but he's already dead. That means that I'm free."

The instinct of Beastmen to be afraid of the Dragon was lost when Axelle died. Hakanaria grinned and pulled out his sharp hand in her chest and Josephine further coughed blood. She glared at Hakanria for the last time before dying. 

"Stupid woman, disturbing my time in the prison is the last thing you should have done. Besides, I remember you. How can I forget the woman who gave me one of the best fuck of my life? That's the exact reason why I spare you last time. But you lost that charm after serving Ivan. That man stinks."

Hakanria licked the blood in his hand. Since the caster who changed his appearance died, his true face was shown.

[Yeah, both Vania and Evie are dead. I don't know, they are unimportant so I casually killed them, hehe.]
