Let's say that you are sleeping with your wife one night ... when suddenly you are woken by a strange noise.

There's a rush of adrenalin and your imagination races to conceive in the instant all kinds of horrors. 

Still half asleep and partly dreaming it's easy to imagine the glint of the knife ... 

Here comes the pain as it slices through your skin and twists inside the flesh and bones.
