A star.
One with a tint of passion,
colored in a ravishing red.

Another star
that glows a silent white,
upholding a reckless caution
against its striking companion
harbouring intentions
to possess its vermillion skin.

But unadorned craving
turn into raging fervour,
and two close entities greet.
The white surrendering itself
to the fire possessed by the other,
a dying fire
fighting to keep alive.

For the scarlet ruby
was hanging on the edge of its end,
seeking a new birth
for its impending demise,
a new beginning for its end.

And at that split second -
a moment in which
the cosmos pause
to watch the rare spectacle,
a moment in which
a breath is held
and eyes stay wide open -
a blinding light rips through the fabric of space.

A touch of explosion,
explicit celebration.

Quiet mayhem,
harmonic disharmony.

The end
is as soon as the beginning
All that remains is silence
and an envelope of light, bright light
that masks the faces of the celestial bodies.
