I met with everyone outside the courthouse: Lucas, Iris, Charles, Jean, Jeff, Jon, Lilith, Erica, Mikaela, Simon, and Matthias. I did find it odd though, because usually when I’m around most of these people, there’s usually a death or two.

“With the princess gone,” said Matthias, “it looks like I’ll be in charge. Hey, Charles…”

“Yes?” asked Charles.

“Don’t leave again.” begged Matthias, “I know you didn’t like our family, especially Leah, but it hurt when you left.”

“Wait…you’re-!?” I started.

“What!?” exclaimed Iris.

“Yes,” said Charles, “I left this country because Leah had been abusing her power and Matthias blindly followed her laws.”

“Promise me you’ll never leave again.” said Matthias.

“Don’t worry,” said Charles, “I’m not planning to.”

“Well,” I said, “we many not have solved everything, but I think it’s safe to say that our current objective is over.”

“Mike did it.” said Mikaela.

“Please,” I said, “enough about Mike.”

“I’m never giving your soul back.” said Simon.

“I didn’t realize you had my soul.” I commented.

I’ve never really understood why, but some people won’t stay away from me. By that, I mean people with interesting personalities. Everywhere I go and everywhere I’ve been, these people are usually nearby. Every few years, it’s a different group of people too.

I’ve had it rough these past few years with friends coming and going, but I guess that’s just part of life. While these recent years haven’t been the greatest, interesting things have been happening lately and more are likely to occur in the future. I’ll just have to keep living and see what happens.
