A grumpy voice echoes through the hallways, it was the school janitor he probably finished cleaning and he's about to exit school premises.
The janitor was breathing a sigh of relief as he can go back home probably to enjoy his personal time and daily needs however what he doesn't know....
"Look out!" a feminine voice rang out and the Janitor was caught by suprise his waist was suddenly grabbed and he fell to the floor.
The janitor would normally yell out in retaliation but he realized that this girl just saved him, as he saw an airconditioning unit to be in the last place he stood on...if he had walked any further.
The janitor gulped from this realization and he couldn't help but praise this young girl...her blue hair and grey eyes...wait a minute this girl.
"Wait aren't you Ms.."
"Mita Maki I'm just glad your safe"
My name is Mita Maki, I'm the Ultimate Seer. I will explain how this happened. When I was 6 years old, my mom and dad had a trip overseas, they were invited to join by my distant cousins during that time. However, while I was giddying around, I couldn't help but wonder at that time what would happen so I yelled out-
"Mom mom! I wonder what will happen when we get there! Oh will we ride the roll-"
And my voice stopped because during that time countless visions appeared, I saw the plane's right side wing burning and my family completely motionless and my dad busy contacting the plane crew and my mother...her eyes just kept staring at me, as if she was feeling sorry for what had happened.
A normal person would dismiss it as some strange illussion, probably a mental problem or disease. However I was a child at that time, and as you can expect I didn't bode so well with going through the plan of my parents.
"MOM MOM! NO, I DON'T WANT TO GO! NO"
My voice became hoarse from all the screaming I had to do to stop my parents but they gave up and we decided to stop a nearby medical center, however I was extremely frightened during that time because unlike what you would expect my dad didn't seem to accept the idea of just wasting the family trip for some vision I had. I didn't know what to do or how to stop it, is this really how I'm going to die with my family. The bickering was endless my mom, had a lot of trust in me despite the craziness of what I had been saying however their stopped their bickering when they saw the tragedy itself.
A burning plane exploding in the sky, and I could see for myself I truly was right in what I saw in my vision. My mom looked at me suprised and my dad, looked at me concerningly. That didn't matter though after that tragedy we went back to our normal lives...except for me of course.
The days onward I realized, I had a unique talent...no it was as close as a superpower, the one you would see in kid television shows. I could know the information and truth of anything I want, I just ask myself a question verbally, it could just be an inaudible mumble only heard by me but that's all I need and then I would know the 'answer'. Who peed in the restroom? Who stole my chocolate? When will someone die? Will my mom die?
That is the day I realized, I had a unique ability to know the truth of the world. With the introductions of worldwide reknowned high school level talents known as ultimates, I realized I might not be the only one so I decided to enroll with this ability of mine and I was recognized as the "Ultimate Seer".
As I walking, I saw my friend "Zen Tsuruya" at the entrance.
"So did you save someone again?"
"Of course I did, it warned me after all-"
Zen looked at me with a shrug as if he used to it at this point.
"Let me guess you ask "How and when the next person in this school will get into danger?"
"Correct, luckily this was told to me 2 days beforehand"
"Hmmm, how nice my best friend has a power, meanwhile I'm just the Ultimate Nurse"
"I don't see anything wrong with that, especially when you've already helped like 342 people in a span of 1 month"
"I mean yeah but I was just an intern, and it was nothing special"
Nothing special my foot, no one has that much energy, it would be close to an inhuman monster.
"So you wanna play some Rune of Legends? I'm still in Epic since the reset"
I nonchalantly suggest to play a game again to my best buddy but his face seems to say no, oh?
"Sorry I need to attend some party my parents invited me in, it seems like some well known doctor will be doing some kind of surgery as a presentation"
"A surgery!?? As a presentation? Can I join?"

I do a deep sigh, but I bid farewells to Zen as I go back to my apartment, it was quite empty like always. I got back to my room and saw the text messages in my phone.

I close my phone as I start to finish my homework.

I wonder if I should text Zen about the party...hmm shouldn't hurt to ask.
"Hey Zen, how was the party"
Waiting for a text message I got a little suprised Zen wanted to do a phone call instead.

However no one answered on the other end....is he pulling a prank on me.

"I think you'd do nicely in my game" a feminine voice rang out.

I still haven't used my ability I need to know what the fuck just happened.
"What the hell happened to Zen!?"
My brain had countless visions, first I saw Zen being knocked out by a group of assailants they were wearing some kind of Black&White bear masks and brought him inside a van. That plate number! I memorized it!
"Zen!"
I was still in my school uniform but there was no time, I quickly went to my phone to contact the police, I had close connections with the police ever since I've been recognized as the Ultimate Seer, this should be easy to explain however..
"What the fuck why can't I have connection..."
I heard a loud clasp on my door and I realized someone just unlocked it....who the hell...I need to hide in the restroom.
I quickly dashed to the restroom but it was too late, a loud thud echoed in the room as a large gas filled the entire room...I feel dizzy...is this...sleeping gas...
My mind reached its limit and my body collapsed on the cold floor.
Chapter 1: Wake Up New Reality Kid!
Zen was lying motionless on the floor with his eyes completely blank and void of life...no! No! This can't be true!
"Zen!" I yelled
"Ah ouch..." I realized I hit the leg of a school desk...wait a school desk?
"Where-" no wait!
I clasped my mouth shut as I realized, I almost 'wasted it'.
Where is this place? It doesn't look my classroom from what it looks like...I could check more into this room but its better to get out first maybe there are other people here.
I decided to venture further, I landed into several more classrooms on the way until I encountered another student.
"Are you in the same situation too?" a feminine voice rang out, a pink haired girl with pink eyes looked at me with her petite body as if I was some long lost friend.
"Do you know why this is happening?" I sternly looked at her in the eyes hoping she could answer even an inkling of what I would want to know.
"No, I'm in the same situation, we're all in the gymnasium, you should join we're all there"
A gymnasium? Hmm...well as long as there are other people, this is quite the dangerous situation though what if they are luring me into a trap should I 'use it' now?
As we continued to walk in silence, the rising suspicion is turning my guts, my mind is telling me to use my ability but my heart is telling me to trust her.
"Hey so, while we're walking, mind if I ask what's your name? I'm Mita Maki"
"Oh, I'm Kanon Yuko you can call me Yuko, so what do you think made us get dragged in this?"
Should I tell her about the kidnapping situation of Zen Tsuruya? No, that would be suspicious, and most of all I don't know what she will do if her ears ever heard of this...worst case scenario a lot of suspicion will be built upon me.
"I got no idea but it probably has a thing about our family backgrounds"
I casually remarked, although it's still one of the highest possibilities.
We got into the gymanasium and there I met 14 others all looking into me with a nonchalant face, perhaps they got used seeing so many people.
"So, is this the last one or are there more?" a masculine voice rang out from the Blond Haired Boy.
"Hm, I only found her in the corridor, who knows there might be more people we just don't know yet" Konno Yuko remarks.
"Excuse me can anyone explain to me what's going on?"
A black haired boy approaches my direction and lends his hand? Hm what's this strange gesture.
"My name is Saito Akihiro, I'm the Ultimate Technician nice to meet you!"
Ultimate Technician? Wait a minute-
"Hello Saito, ah yes I'm Mita Maki, Ultimate Seer, can you explain anything of the situation?"
I casually introduced myself, but this would be my biggest mistake...revealing my ultimate talent.
"Yes as you can see Ms. Maki, all of us including yourself have been kidnapped, we tried looking for exists however the others said it had bore no results as of yet"
I see, so it really does seem that way, but why do I feel like this situation isn't just simple kidnapping.
"Mita Maki, why does that name seem so familiar...." a feminine voice from a purple haired woman with a busty chest leaning on a wall said aloud.
"You must have heard about me, I've been featured in countless newspaper magazines, after all I'm the Ultimate Seer!" a boasted proudly.
The Blond Haired Boy looked at me...
"So you're the Ultimate Seer right? What does being a Seer even do anyways"
"Well that's simple really? I have the unique power to know about the truth and nothing but the truth of both past present and future"
A boy with round glasses looked at me with a shocked face, "Hey wait isn't that kind of OP, it's much better than my Ultimate Game Designer title!"
"Fufufu, well are some restrictions though but since I got a good read on you all~"
Eh I better use it already, these folks don't seem to bad people anyways.
"So where are we and who kidnapped us?"
All the others looked at me in confusion but it doesn't really matter, I received countless visions, we were in a distance coast of an island, eh wait, this information doesn't help at all! Wait the kidnapper is some kind of little bear? Is my eyes looking at this right.
"Um Ms. Maki" Kanon looked at worryingly
"Ms. Maki hello?"
"Are you okay?" Kanon touched my shoulder.
"Eh, oh sorry about that" I snapped out of it, so that's the situation right now.
"Okay guys, I don't know what happened but I used my Seer ability and I found out we are in some kind of abandoned island.
"ABANDONED ISLAND!? Perhaps is it one of my great great great cousin's plans to steal my leadership position!?" A rough looking brown haired boy with rough hair yellow loudly in the hallways.
Everyone looked at the brown haired boy for a brief moment but stared back at you to continue what you were saying...
"Uhh and yeah apparently we got kidnapped by this white-blackish bear, I don't really get it maybe my ability is broken"
"On the contrary it's working fine!" A mechanical high pitched voice echoed in the gymnasium, and there are the center of the podium was the exact bear I had seen in my vision.
"Hey! What the hell is that!" The light blue haired boy yelled out while grabbing my collar in a panick.
"What the hell are you-" I am really irritated now, I just wanna smack this pervert's face!
"Please everyone stop yelling" Kanon yelled out
"The enemy is right in front of us! Let's smash it!" The brown haired boy yelled
"Simpletons...then die a dog's death then" the red hair spoke harshly
"Hey red hair, cool it will ya! That is totally not protag material" the game designer yelled out.
"I will not allow anyone to die in front of me!" The blond haired boy yelled out with conviction.
Meanwhile the rest didn't utter much as a single word, perhaps they weren't the type to be proactive in situations like this, so I decided to take command.
"So you're the bear who kidnapped us, well this is gonna be easy if that's the case, so what do you want...money? fame? We'll do as you say but remember that the police will come when they notice all 16 of us has dissapeared"
"HAHAHAHAHA!" the bear laughed loudly.
"What the-"
"I'm Monokuma, your new headmaster of this academy"
My throat felt like it was becoming so hot, but why this only ever happens if...I'm extremely worried something bad is gonna happen.
"Y-you what are you planning" I screamed hoarsely.
"Yeah, just let us go!" Kanon yelled out
"I still have a mother I need to take care of...and I won't stand for this anymore" Saito Akihiro mumbles besides me.
Countless others yelled out in retaliation but then-
*BANG BANG BANG BANG*
My eyes caught sight of the gatling gun in the left direction of the gymnasium, did I see that right....ah! AH!
"Bullet holes.." the blond haired boy mumbled.
"Do you think this is still a joke?" Monokuma says in response.
I gulped in realization, that this isn't just a simple kidnapping scheme isn't it....I was so very very wrong.
"You will all live in this academy forever until you die"
"What! Forever until we die but...Mom..."
I recollect the horrible image of my mom crying alone in a room when dad had passed away...no! I can't let this happen!
"You can't do this! This is fucking inhuman!"
"Which is why, there is a way to get out of this school"
A way to get out of this school? What is it-
"Just kill someone." Monokuma said casually.
"Huh-" everyone was as perplexed as I am, some brushed it off as a joke while some stuttered accepting the reality of situation.
"But it's just any simple murder you need to win the class trial, spotless vs blackened...there are more details in the Monopad I've given to you all in your pockets" Monokuma says.
I checked my pocket and it really was there, how did you not notice until now? You checked the rules section of the Monopad.
- Rule #1: Sleeping anywhere other than the rooms given is prohibited and punishment will be dealt with if not followed accordingly.
- Rule #2: Violence against headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras and school property without justifiable reasons.
- Rule #3: Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered.
- Rule #4: Once a murder takes place, a class trial will begin shortly thereafter. Participation is mandatory for all surviving students.
- Rule #5: If the guilty party is exposed during the class trial, they alone will be executed.
- Rule #6: If the guilty party is not exposed, they alone will graduate, and all remaining students will be executed.
T-this can't be real! Murder!? I know I've been in countless investigations with the police but...this is my life on the line here! I gulped from the realization, I looked around everyone, I can't trust anyone!
"Stop everyone! We won't kill anyone! This thing, Monokuma is just trying to play with us, do you really think murder will get you of this place!? And even if it did do you think our parents would look us in the eyes and accept it if we come back to society as murderers" the blond haired boy yelled loudly.
"Stop sitting on your high horse, Kaga bitch" the red haired boy uttered
"That's Kagami Rin to you" Kagami Rin stared at the red haired boy with a furious glare.
"Tsk, I'm leaving, I ain't dying in this place" the red haired boy left.
"Ms Maki" Kanon approached me quietly
"Ms. Maki shouldn't you know an escape route of sorts?" Kanon said.
"H-huh why is that?" I feigned ignorance.
"Hm? Aren't you the Ultimate Seer" Saito Akihiro says with conviction.
"What an Ultimate Seer!?" The brown haired boy yelled loudly.
"Ah-....stop! Leave me alone!"
The stress was too much, the burden and fear of being killed, I can't deal with it...Zen...where are you...somebody I can trust please..
But this wasn't a fanfic there was no way he would just show up...nobody came after me..I can't blame them it's too dangerous, I chuckled.
"Sigh, is this really where I'm gonna die..."
"Ms. Maki so this is where you were!" a pink haired girl smiled at my direction.
"Ah Kanon..you came for me but why?" I stare at her with a suspicious gaze...but deep inside I wanted to believe that she did it because she is kind.
"Ms. Maki...I was worried about you, come on let's join back together with the group, we'll finish introductions there"
I held Kanon's hands when we went back to the gymanasium.
The others were pretty restless when I dissapeared but they understood what happened.
"It's fine Ms. Maki we won't pressure you just let us know if you have any info to help us escape" Kagami Rin says
"Yes, Blondy"
"Blondy!? Repeat me when I say Kagami Rin!"
"Pfft"
You still remember red haired boy calling him Kagabitch, and you couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
"Why are you...ah that childish brat...." Kagabit- I mean Kagami mumbled.
Seeing my perplexed face Kagami couldn't help himself anymore
"So basically that red haired guy, you can call him Otsuka Yuichi, he's ..an associate of mine, our fathers are close friends"
"Ahhh I see"

"Oh nothing much, oh and it it's about the Seer thing, no I won't answer it"
"No, no I already gave up on that, it's fine thank you, for now we're gonna go in pairs....hm most of the people left already but I guess even a small group like ours needs some cooperation. I'll pair up with Akihiro, while you pair up with Yuko" Kagamin Rin was straight to the point.
I was actually on board with this idea, he continued and mention that we must meet up at the afternoon to give our reports afterwards we can do whatever we want.
Oh so this is my dorm, my room looked extremely cozy despite being in a killing game, the shower worked fine too.
Now then...time to get serious.
"How the fuck do I get out of here with my ability" I stared at my mirror with such bravado.
