The next day he was back at Eugene's office Jackman, Ludlow & Partners for a meeting

"Mr Forsithe, you're right on time. The sellers are already here" Sumi greeted him with a smile

"Any...news on.... Eugene?" David asked

She escorted him to the conference room where the owners of Everlife, the Cryonics company was there

"Where are you going?" Theresa asked

"Trying..Muay Thai" David said

"Is that like a massage? I was hoping to catch Netflix" Theresa asked

"No...like..kickboxing" he answered

"Kickboxing? Why?" she asked

"Oh. You'll be back tonight right?" she asked

"Yes" he answered

David walked into a pungent sweat smelling gym in the older near abandoned warehouse district of the city. 

He looked around wondering if he came to the right place. There was next to nobody there.

There was a kickboxing ring, and around 7 long kickboxing bags that went all the way to the floor. 

"Hello, can I help you?" a fit muscular man said. He looked to be around 30 years old. 

"He...hello. I... I am... I am Dav... David Fors...Forsythe" David said

"Oh, you're my 9PM private student! I am Ramon Trekker. You can call me Kru, which means instructor of Muay Thai" Ramon said

"Ok... Kru" David stammered

He was pointed to the locker room and showers and David went to change. 

The locker room looked ancient, as if Rocky himself from the movies trained there. 

He got changed to a pair of shorts and a tight singlet and walked out of the dressing room. 

"Not... not many... students?" David asked, looking around

"No.. hardcore gyms are like that. Everybody wants to be a fighter, but nobody really wants to train hard. So classes with pretty girls and no sparring are more popular" Ramon answered 

"Oh... sparring" David muttered

"Yes, we will have alot of sparring to get your skills up to par. But don't worry. We'll do that once you have mastered some moves" Ramon said

"Good" David looked relieved. 

"Have you learned Muay Thai before?" Ramon asked

"No" he said

"That is not a bad thing. You have an empty cup so I can fill it" he said

David nodded and started the private lesson with Ramon Trekker

Ramon was impressed with David

Here was a timid young man, stuttering and stammering, obviously lacking confidence.

But when David moved, even though he lacked Muay Thai skills, his movement was fluid, fast and precise. 

After the lesson was over, David thanked Ramon and went to change. 

About half an hour later, Ramon entered the dressing room to take a shower. 

He undressed and entered the shower, which was old school and didn't have any doors. 

Suddenly, he sensed someone around and turned to look, but there was nobody there. 

He continued showering but suddenly the lights went out

"What the hell? Didn't I pay the electricity bills this month?" he muttered as he walked in the dark, to look for a torch. 

Without warning, a hand reached across his neck and slit his throat.
