??? POV

'Don't you want to go outside?'

'. . . . .I don't want to.'

'Why?'

'. . .Because I hate it?'

'Really? Why?'

'. . .Because there are people and it's noisy?'

'Noisy?'

'People talk about unnecessary things. I hate it.'

'Why don't you talk with them about things that you deem necessary?'

'That's impossible.'

'Why?'

'Because. . .they won't listen?'

'Why won't they listen, I wonder?'

'That's. . .'

As I opened my eyes, I found myself in a room. It was dark, bleak, and really quiet. The soft fluffy bed I was laying down on, a table set with a newly brewed coffee with milk and honey just sitting on top, a laptop, a shelf of books, and the windows were all covered with black curtains. It was a mess. But for some reason, I like it. I raised my body to a sitting position and heard clothes rustling towards my right and-

clatter*

"Ow!"

A bunch of books fell on top of her head.

 "Urgh. . ."

". . . . ."

An awkward silence passed by and I decided to break the silence.

"A-Are you alright?"

". . . . ."

She didn't say anything, but she trembled in embarrassment. I stopped myself from laughing out loud. She would definitely chase me out.

Speaking of chasing me out, she said I killed her but then why would she help me? Even going out of her way to bring me here which is what I would assume is her home.

"Uhh. . .why did you help me?"

". . . . .I didn't help you. You collapsed on the same place where you are right now."

"You mean. . .a bed just suddenly appeared out of nowhere and created this room?"

"No. This is my room."

"So, you carried me all the way here?"

"No. I can summon this room, whenever I want, wherever I am."

'Hmm. . .in short, this is her space and she allowed me to be here.'

"So, where were we before?"

"This is that same place."

"I see."

She casually stood up, arranged the books, and sat on the floor, she grabbed the milk and honey and mixed it in the warm coffee. The smell was invigorating. I almost drooled.

'That looks so delicious.'

She seemed to notice my gaze.

"Do you like coffee?" she asked.

"I seem to like it?"

Not knowing anything about myself. I guessed.

"Of course, you like it."

She smiled warmly and her gentle voice was soothing.

I questioned her statement in my mind but-

'Ah, that's right, she did say that she knew me. She even said she hates me. But. . .is that the kind of expression you'd show to someone you hate?'

As I was thinking all that, she served me an exact similar cup of coffee.

I gleefully took it and was about to take a sip when-

"Hey. . ."

I paused and looked at her to hear what she has to say.

"You. . . don't think I poisoned it?"

I was taken aback. There is that possibility, but I didn't think of that. I wonder why? Because she looked kind? No-

"Because I don't think you want to do that? I think."

". . . . ."

She remained expressionless.

"Is that so?"

"Was I wrong?"

". . .Who knows?"

I proceed to drink the coffee, as I thought, it was incredibly delicious. While I was savoring the warm drink, she was using her laptop while reading a bunch of books. I got curious.

"What are you doing?"

"Reading and playing?"

She answered my question without taking her eyes off the screen.

'Multitasking at its finest!'

". . . . ."

". . . . ."

The awkward silence continued. I have a lot of things I want to ask but she looked busy so I kept quiet waiting for her to finish whatever she was doing.

10 minutes later

mouse clicking sounds*

click* clickclick* clickclick* click*

30 minutes later

click* clickclick* clickclick* click*

1 hour and 30 minutes later

click* clickclick* clickclick* click*

". . . . ."

Not being able to stand it any longer, I took the initiative to break the silence again.

"Um- Can I ask you something?"

". . . . ."

click* clickclick* clickclick* click*

Her actions didn't stop. But I assumed that she was listening to me and I asked.

"You- Don't you want to leave this place?"

halt*

". . . . ."

She paused and took a long time to reply to my question.

"I don't want to."

"Why?"

"What do you think?"

"Eh?"

"What do you think is the reason I don't want to?"

". . . . ."

This time, her eyes kept looking at me as if she doesn't want me out of her sight. She stared at me, hoping for an answer.

I felt anxious but I don't know why I felt that way, she was just asking for my opinion and yet-

"I don't know so tell me."

"You don't know, huh?"

"Uh-"

She kept staring at me with cold eyes. After a while, she stood up, went towards the door, opened it and-

"Get out."

She said it with a straight face, with a soft voice.

"Huh?!"

"I said get out."

"Eh? But- I-"

". . . . ."

In shock, I stood up and tried to apologize.

"Sorry, if you didn't like what I said then-"

"Get. Out."

She enunciated those two words, signifying that she doesn't want to hear what I have to say and that she is mad.

"I-"

"I don't want to repeat myself for the fourth time, or maybe you want me to drag you out myself?"

'That was the longest sentence I've heard from her and it was something out of irritation.'

"I-I'll get out. I'll get out so don't get mad."

I frantically said as she was getting seriously angry. I went out and it was the scenery from before. Complete darkness, cold fog,-

"I really-"

slam*

She slammed the door before I even finished what I was about to say.

"Ugh-"

'I wonder if I said something wrong. Was it because I was neutral? Was it because I pried too deep?'

sigh*

"I don't understand her at all."

I wandered around for a bit but I didn't go too far from the door, which was barely visible. It has probably been about an hour or two. She still hasn't forgiven me yet.

I don't hear any clicking sounds or any pages being flipped. I don't smell any coffee being brewed.

'Is she sleeping?'

'I know it's rude of me to do this but-'

I grabbed the knob expecting it to be locked and-

clack*

'Ah, the door was open all this time? That's dangerous. But then again, it's just us so-'

As I opened the door, surprisingly I was welcomed not by the room, but by another door. The door that I opened faintly disappeared.

'I could've sworn there was only one door.'

clack*

I opened the other door but I was welcomed by yet another door-

clack*

And another, and another, and another, it was endless and all the doors seem to disappear after I opened them. It seems like that type where you cannot get in unless you get the master's permission or something like that.

Knowing that it's useless to keep on trying, I sat down in front of the door and decided to wait. Wait for her to wake up. I should also try to fall asleep while I'm at it too.

After a long time of waiting, I dozed off to sleep, not realizing that beneath the door was a black cloth that seemed to be the girl's clothes.
