"This is your birthday, why the long face?"

I say that to Alicia who sits on the balcony, gazing towards the starry sky.

"I know this is my birthday and I am supposed to feel happy today, but, I realize.

Without my friends here, I feel lonely."

Alicia said so, with her eyes now facing me. There's a slight hint of tears in her eyes.

I'm actually impressed that this Alicia, who closes with almost everyone, still did not cry just yet, and be able to hold back all those sadness at her heart. This is probably proof, of how strong she actually is.

"You know when you go to the capital one year ago? I felt so sad without you being here.

And they, they're the ones who will be here to make that loneliness bearable."

"But now, I'm here you know?

I'm here for you."

"......"

Alicia becomes speechless.

"Happy Birthday."

After saying I gift her the present that I already have prepared.

"Here, Alicia. 

Take it, this is yours."

It was a necklace,

That was purely created from a certain crystal.

"It's beautiful..."

It just one ordinary necklace created from a certain crystal.

But, there's one thing that stands out from this necklace.

A clear, blue crystal in the shape of a certain flower.

"How do you do this?"

The confused Alicia ask.

Of course, a clear crystal where the light could pierce through is usually a rare and expensive kind of jewelry. But,

"I'm a blacksmith you know?

Will you accept it?

My first craft as a real blacksmith."

Alicia only nodded, leaving the necklace still in my hand.

I'm not that dense to not realize what she means by that.

I help her wear that necklace.

It fits her blue eyes perfectly.

"Big Brother...."

"What?"

"Thank you."

With that word, she hugs me so tightly then runs back to the inside.

The last thing that I noticed was her warm smile. 

Now, she looks really happy.

"If you could make that face, you should do it from earlier."

I quietly whisper to myself.

"Idiot, sad face didn't suit you at all."

With those words, I also go to the inside. 

The warmth from hugs earlier was already faded. 

What remains is only the memory of it. But I, I'm still be able to felt its warmth.
