So, it's been a week since I got home.
With the help from people around the village, I finally have my own workshop.
It's a small wooden house with only one room.
Why it is built that way?
Well, because I only need this place to create weapons and other metal or iron stuff. The one that needs to be smelted.
For accessories and other stuff, I can create that almost everywhere. So there is no need for me to create a dedicated room for that.
And for storage, there is probably no need for that because the material is rather limited and I only create something when someone actually needs it.
My blacksmithing teacher always said this to me back in the capital,
"Never waste the materials, that material worth more than your life."
I know he sounds like a mean person, but no, he just a really strict teacher. And a really good teacher actually.
After my final graduation forge. He gives me his hammer as a mark of my graduation. This hammer is really good, in this hammer, there is certain magic called "Command Code" imbedded to it that makes swinging this hammer felt more light than a regular hammer.
He let me use his hammer once before. He said to use this hammer to create your "Pride".
Pride is how they called graduation weapons. to set standards for your skill, they said.
Don't get me wrong. If you measure this hammer weight, it will have a weight the same as a regular hammer. The command code only makes me think that it was light.
It is designed like that to make me keep the focus on the material until the work is done. When the work is done the pressure of tiredness will be sent toward my body all at once.
So, yeah a gift from my teacher.
"Muscle pain is just a small price to pay for higher quality weapons."
A give that really suits his character.

In the field of blacksmithing in this world. There is usually 4 important step that needs to be learned. Some steps can be skipped but a blacksmith needs to know how to do these steps.
First, Extraction. This is the process of extracting raw materials, usually done to minerals, to divide them from the regular rock without physically destroying the place around it.
This is the process that most often skipped because a job like a miner exists. And the extraction of minerals using magic is just inefficient.
Second, Filtration. This is the process to refine materials usually crystal and magic stone from monsters. This process is to increase the purity of the materials. The purer the materials the easier it is to imbed it with magic.
This process is the most bothersome full with very long trial and error. Because it only to purify crystal mineral. We usually skip this process entirely for metal-based material.
Third, Transformation. This is probably what most people would think about the job of Blacksmith. This is the process of creating an object from the material. From the forging of the material up to when the weapon is finish and ready to use, is in the step of transformation.
This is usually where the process ended. But, in the creation of magic weapons, there is one more step that needs to be done.
Forth, Reinforcement.
This is where regular blacksmith marks their name in history. From the sword that can create fire until the sword that is created to only cut evil. This is the step to create that kind of sword.
This step is unknown because for all blacksmith they have different techniques to do their reinforcement.
Basically, this is the step to increase the potency of the weapons.
The easiest way is to embed it with a magic stone and the use of command code. After this step is done the weapon is no longer just regular weapons.
This is where the gap between blacksmith of this time usually is.
